My divorce is pending (for reals!!! YAY!)...school is GREAT (start again tomorrow with 2 new MED classes), kids are really doing well(ish).

Happy Birthday to MommyP! Ahh, to be 28 again! Sigh!

Nab, I didnt go to work today. I set my alarms last night to get up early and enjoy my day off. Well, that didnt work out too well. I heard them. but ignored them (shut them off) till 10:30 or so.Read the paper for an hour, and decided that going to Walmart and cooking dinner just wasn't in the cards today.

Watched People's court while browsing the net, then switched to watch Judge Alex. Come to find out, all my favorite Judge shows are pre-emptied today for some car races, GRRRRR!!! Had Cheaters on for a bit, while working, then some show came on, ala Jerry Springer, called the Steve Wilkos show or something. They had a really creepy, slimy guy on. The audience chanted, "steve, steve, steve" ala Jerry, but it just didnt work, LOL. Now Jerry himself is on TV, since my Divorce Court is preempted still for the stupid car race. Some crazy woman in a wedding dress is running around the stage tackling a guy..... nuts! Meanwhile I have been working on some files for work to make things easier in the future.

Well, my to do list and shopping list isnt going anywhere, LOL, it will be here next weekend.

Popping in - DH is doing yardwork! I need to do housework - DD is doing homework! we have a lot of work that needs to be done!! The laundry is really growing HUGE - but the laundromat is closed!! So that will be all day tomorrow, bet the lines will be HUGE!

Geez, now some mother and daughter (in a wedding gown) are beating up on each other. This is soooo ridiculous! I want my court shows back.

The only judge show I watch is Judge Judy.

That other show you mentioned was Jerry Springers bouncer guy on his show and ends up with his own show. I never watch it though. Do remember watching Jerry a long time ago.

Well my house is clean for the day at least. My laundry is growing fast with all the bed changes today. Have to wait until the BIL leaves for the day to start the washer/dryer downstairs. He is putting and taping seams in main room down there.....it is getting there.

Where is Moo hiding if she has the day off today?

i reheated my 1 leftover red lobster imitation cheese bisquit (chesse is real) in the microwave. 10 seconds. it was good!
Here is the recipe if anyone cares. I was surprised, I thought the dough looked tiny, but it really fluffed up.
I think a nap is in order...............

Marita-- I make those all the time but with out the cheese and garlic. I am going to have to add those next time.

Moo-- sounds like your having a nice restful day. Is your hubby off too?

Hannah goes bowling tonight with her Brownie troop and all the Dads. I think this is so unfair that dad's get to go bowling and mothers get to do a potluck dinner on Thursday, what fun is that. I hate to cooks so I am bring a dessert. Maybe brownies without nuts. This is the evening they go from being Brownies to Girl Guides. Then this weekend she goes camping for one night were they have to put up a tent for the first time. Then we are done until Sept.

Good thing because it is baseball season now. Game tomorrow and Wed. That leaves only Friday night open this week. Scratch that Nicholas has a dance this Friday.

Just woke up from my nap. Nasty thunderstorm here. It's ugly. Good thing I dont have to go out in this.

Just put work clothes in the dryer, and added a load of dark clothes to the washer. I hate laundry!

Have to curl my hair later, eek! At least Judge Judy is back on TV tonight.

About TV, Jon and Kate supposedly has some reference (not much ) about his rumored affair.
SOme new show "here come the newlyweds" at 10
and the bacholorette at 8. I dont usually watch those shows till the very end.

My hubby has been home today too, Nabbie, but he's doing his own thing and I'm doing mine!

I am doing a little cooking this evening. I made something called Philly cheesesteak bites. They're mini crustless quiches - you make them in a mini-muffin tin. I overcooked them a little bit because I didn't realize my oven was set on 375 instead of 350, but they still tasted pretty good! There is a blog called "The World According to Eggface" and she has a ton of weight loss surgery-friendly recipes. I got the recipe from there. She has recipes for several different varieties of "bites". I need to get some more eggs and a few other ingredients and I'm going to try a couple other kinds. There's one with smoked salmon in it that looks good. I'll do the pizza one when Don can have meat, cheese, and eggs later this week.

I'm also making some meatless chili with a couple different kinds of beans in it to eat during the work week.

MommyP - Yay for the new comfy chair! What a great birthday gift for you

Mommy P-- I would take you up on the offer but I couldn't do that to a pregnant woman. Especially since I bet you have more wash then I have in a week.

Marita-- thank you for those TV reminders. I did watch Bachelorette last week and saw the newlywed one advertised and wanted to check it out.

Moo-- Is your hubby feeling better now? He must be ready for real food.

Just returned from son and dil's house....hubby and son were putting up this gigantic swing set with a fort at the top......weird....but nice.....it is still not done.....but will be some day....alot of work.......they had us stay for supper and the porter house steaks were unbelievable....."they pay really good for helping"......hahaha.....the mosquitos were ready to carry them off at the end of this project...so hubby just took a hot shower and doesnt look to bad now.

Okey Nab.....the one that I watched had a girl that had impetigo on her face.and the other girls thought it was a flesh eating disease.........the girl that won had a different type of name...she was very cute with short hair that had a mohawk...and then when it was down it was beautiful....they went to Africa and had alot of shoots there too.....very cute

Hey, right back atcha, Pumba! Sounds like you had a great day.

Nabbie - My hubby is SO ready for real food!!! He should be able to move on to low-fat cheese, meats other than pork and beef, and eggs on Friday. He'll be MUCH happier when he can eat real food. He got sick of the protein shakes, so he started drinking Ensure and 1% chocolate milk instead. And he's been eating refried beans and Campbell's vegetable beef soup (he has been feeding the meat from the soup, what little there is, to the dogs).

I'm SOOOOOO Behind!

Don't have time to read back, but did want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for my mom. Her surgery is at 1:30 EST. She has to go in at 10:00 for pre-op bloodwork. I'll try to check in tomorrow. It will be late though.
