I FINISHED a digital scrapbook!! (I do want validation!) It took 3 hours and the advice of strangers to help me!! You have to write words on some pictures - um... hmmm. . . let me think.... *sigh!!

Not much to report here either. Spent half the day at the old job helping my successor, plus another 3 hours on the phone with her, ugghh! Just something about when you have a new job, you hate going back to fuss with old stuff, but oh well! Another split day tomorrow.

Disappointment in my fancy new mini cafeteria today for lunch. They were out of BOTH tuna salad and sub rolls. So I had a chicken salad on a croissant. The croissant was pretty stale.
BUT I finally foind out where the big MGM cafeteria is, with a subway and a grill and pizza. I went with a couple of people and got a chocolate pudding for dessert,.

That's all I got for today.
2 more days of work....

I'm feeling pretty good, except for the knee pain. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on my arthritis medication early next week. I resorted to a dose of the post-surgery pain medication when I got home from work tonight. Snooooore. That stuff makes me so sleepy, I can't use it at work.

Twink must have sent me some more rain, too! At least it cleared up toward the end of the day.

Moo, less than 5 min walk. right behind Brown Derby from what I understand. Have still to walk out to the park. My office building is right behind RNR I learned today. I think I mentioned before I can hear the screams from TOT and the parade music at 3.

DS stopped by and took me out to lunch!! He loved the book and picture frames (Kohl's had them 55% off - the one said Mr and Mrs. and the other had some other writing on it - I printed 2 pics 5 x7 for $2 - not $10 the photo studio wanted!)

Here's the pictures of the book - I couldnt install/upgrade to edit them - old computer...

I put this one up next to the photo studio's price list - a book smaller than this, with picture sizes smaller - was $295! no joke!

DIL showing her dress to my mom - while we wait for hair and makeup...

The pics on the left of DIL - the one dark one is in shadow, the top right just didnt photo here well - the other page is dil sister (the one who got so wasted she took off her dress at the reception - and who was a buthead during hair and makeup - but at least she approved of ds and dil gettingmarried drama) ANYWAY - I thought it was sweet when she took dd out in the hall to practice walking up to the Pastor "slow" dil wanted to make sure my dd didnt run up the aisle!!

on the left is DH and dil - you cant see dil face - lol she was yelling at her mom - the photog got a really sweet pic of dh and dil (her dad is out of their lives, and mom just remarried last year - dd walked herself down the aisle)

on the right DD opening the bubble package and programs are in a basket - the other pic is her other sister and cousin who sang "I know You" from Sleeping Beauty - dil walked down the aisle... *sniff... (and she's not a disney freak!)

Wedding ceremony - they had a "Lasso Ceremony" so the left is a pic of the crucifixion next to her dress...

EVERY time I upload pics I get a tiny thumbnail - this time, I was expecting the thumbnail pic, and its regular size!!

I'd go in and edit, but I dont want to jinx it!!
You can see for yourself the fonts - I didnt picture each page - but most of them - I didnt think they'd turn out to be honest with you!!

Hey y'all! It's been a busy week so far. Natasha's First Holy Communion is this Saturday morning. My house is all abuzz with preparations. Of course, she also has a major project due at school on Monday.

I still have a gazillion little things to do, so I decided to take tomorrow off (YAY!). Oh, and thankfully, Mr. Lalijack went back to work today (DOUBLE YAY!).


Sandy, the book WAS lovely! Great job!

Marita, I am officially jealous of your new job.

My day flew by as well. BIL is still coming everyday since Hubby talked to him.

Hannah got another award at school today for literacy, I guess she is pretty good at using descriptive words when writing a story. I must say that girl can write a story and she is always writing them not too.

I managed to wake up on time for the dentist this morning, whew! I set my radio alarm across the room so loud that it probably woke up the entire neighborhood.

I have been asking DS to take some pics of his apartment to see where he lives, and the furniture he bought. Even set up a seperate album within for him. So he just called to ask if I saw the pics. I said, no, did you send me an email to let me know to go look? Well, NOOOOOO! So I checked and all it is is pics of california countryside (without labels).
Said he hasn't taken pics of his place yet. GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR!

Not packing till Friday (taking the day off). Packing, shopping, getting nails done day.
Haven't changed me seat. I might scope out the back seats once I am on the plane. I have felt off by a day all week. Yesterday I was thinking it was Wednesday, today I was thinking it was Thursday. Wishful thinking, I guess, LOL.

Yay for BIL coming again and congrats to Hannah, she seems to be doing GREAT!

Thanks NAB and Marita! I'm not loving the forecast for Saturday...the weather wench is saying it'll be cool (low 60s) and rainy. But this IS New England...the forecast could change. And no matter the weather, I am really looking forward to the day.

Marita, are you planning to take a camera? You should take as many pics as your mom will tolerate...hope she's doing well enough to truly enjoy your visit!
