Well, Atticus is a hero because can kill a mad dog two blocks away with one shot all while attempting to give an innocent man a fair trial despite the overwhelming tide of cultural ignorance. I, on the other hand, solve mysteries in fabulous outfits with a couple of cryptic clues and a flash light. And don't forget my sporty roadster.

We just watched Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull last week. In preparation for it we rewatched the first Indiana Jones. Talk about . I think he should be the number one hero. He is for me.

Now my daughter wants to be an archeologist and Goldenchild wants to be "Mindyana Dones" .

Mony - The youngest I've taken one to Disney is 7ish weeks. but that was just for one day. I don't think I'd want to do Disney while still getting up in the middle of the night for feedings.

I called the Dr.'s office: Im confused?

Me: I'm calling for my husband's MRI results.

her: what's his name?

Me: DH

her: I can look to see if it's here, but I can't give you any info.

Me: That's fine (then I know I can leave the Dr. a message to call me back)

her: (puts me on hold and comes back) What's his DOB?

Me: DOB

Her: ok, let me see here..........(pause) what's your phone number?

Me: phone number

her: thank you, I'll call you back

Calls back.

Her: It hasn't cleared his desk yet.

Me: so does that mean the results are back?

her: It means it hasn't cleared his desk yet. could be in his box to look at, but I don't know. All faxes are put in his box as they come in to look at. I can't go through his box, but if it's there, he'll look at it and he'll has to clear it.

Me: (trying to get a word in) I just.......I know........but.......

her: (talking over me) I can't tell you what's in the report

me (trying to talk over her )I know you can't, I wasn't asking for that I just wanted to see if the results came back and then I was going to leave a message for the dr. to call me.

But she didn't hear that cause she keeps on about it hasn't cleared yet.

So I shut up wait for her nonsensical rambling to finish.

She finishes with, you can call on Monday to check on the status.

Me: I have to wait til Monday?

her: If the Dr. signs off on it I can tell you more.

Me: Like what

Her: Well if he signs off on it, that will let us know if we need to ask you to come in or if he wants to do something further.

Me: I just let it go, said ok, and hang up cause I can't deal with her anymore.


I guess we have to wait until Monday.

That sucks Monica. Could you call back and ask to talk to someone else? Can you just leave a message for the doctor to call you back anyway, then the doctor can look and see if it is in his inbox himself?

I know how hard it is to wait.

I was just telling someone how easily distracted I am. When I worked last weekend one of the pediatricians said he heard the perfect joke about me.

ANyone do Spring Cleaning? I dont usually clean at all - but the kids say they'll come Friday for a Seder Meal - so now I'm thinking I should clean! and think about cooking, recipes, making the Haggadah... I have 3, 1 is Jewish, 1 is a Christian Jewish, 1 is way Christian... I found a CD with music, and listened to that - I think I'll do the Christian Jewish one (It mostly follows the Jewish form, but not so heavy I cant follow it) Love this time of year,

then the worst thing happened... the gas was shut off... apparantly the gas company didnt get dh check, or there was a problem, so he goes to pay it again ($600 invested in the gas company!) but he got there too late - they took the money and will turn on our gas in 5 days.... or maybe on Monday!

*sigh... We have a couple of electric heaters, and the camp stove - (the heaters are turned off at night) I just told the kids we are now officially camping during our STAYCATION!!

anybody else want lemonade?? I have a lot of lemons!

didya kno...whenever, i see major changes in behaviors, what the first
thing....i am checking for? medical problems. interesting?

lil'things..can really mess people thinking up. like depression....sometimes
is the norm. for ie, whenever you lose..someone close in life, depression
is the correct feeling ..for the circumstances. [ it works toward remembering
all the good things another person can have in your life.]


why? understanding & recognizing others & their feelings..can /would
prevent alot of dangerous acting out.

....besides having many, many crime record...but another important
clue....is the number of safety belt tickets. why?...he never learn,
he continue to ignore the law, he is treating it like a joke, and
he thinks, he has the right not to follow. now he has applied the
same attitude toward us. he wants our land, and he is willing to do
whatever it takes...., then you add those arrests..for drug abuse,
and etoh....[ psst, one's self control goes up & down...with chemical
abuse...]

...& this is why..you won't catch me ..without protection , on my
own property. [ i just hope, we can get the law to send a loud enough message..,]


a country's greatest resource? i bleeive the answer is it's people.
..so any society structure..should be addressing health care,
...including developmental needs..or ways of thinking.

i think, by what i've been experiencing...we really don't have a justice
system, rather..a money-making, legal system, where gov't are immune
for the damages...it causing individuals, including "letting" dangerous
persons..to mingle & harm.....the innocent. [ one of the biggest mistake
i see all the time....those in power rather blame..others instead, of
doing problem solving..and seek corrective measures. ]


me & my buddy already kno......we will still have to set "limits".....on
my neighbor....crimminal behaviors..because...our legal system.....is
so ineffective.

I got some "Backstage Magic" in the mail today. They started this during the year(s) of a Million dreams, to randomly give dreams to CM's. I got yet another pass to Disney Quest, which neither DH or I are interested in going to (been there, done that, no thanks). Unfortunaly, I can't give it away, as it has my name on it and ID is required.

Another loooong day today, but I managed to get out 20 minutes early

Evening, all! I felt a little better today. I'm thinking that the rain yesterday might have made my knees feel worse. Also, I tried taking two of the new pain pills and that worked better than just taking one!

I don't do well with anything scented (e.g., Ben-gay) and can't use anything with aspirin in it, so I may just resort to using my microwaved rice bag on occasion. Hopefully, I'll be able to get in the hot tub in a couple days - I'm waiting for a couple of the little incisions to heal a little more.

It's wonderful to be eating real food again! I had cottage cheese and a dab of yogurt for lunch and tonight I made something called noodleless lasagne (cottage cheese with marinara sauce, Italian spices, and a couple egg whites mixed all together and baked). Although it was a little bit watery on the bottom, I dumped that out it tasted good, but I think it will be better when I can add some Parmesan and/or mozzarella cheese.

MommyP - We'll be at WDW during free dining, but won't have the dining plan unless we pay for it since we'll be staying at DVC. It won't be worth it for me any more, since I won't be able to eat much. I'm just going to try to get a few TS ressies - we mainly want to book a nice restaurant for my daughter's birthday. I know I'll have to call at the 90-day mark. Not looking forward to trying to get through.

Mony! I was sorry to see that you didn't hear back from the doctor It's so hard to have to wait. Still sending prayers and positive thoughts

Moo, yay for feeling better and being able to eat real food. Although I'm not sure how I feel about cottage cheese with marina sauce .... but as long as you liked it, it's all goog!

DS called tonight. He finally got to go to orientation program on Tuesday, and has temp job until his training starts in mid-May. I swear he has spent more time waiting than in training so far. He is still waiting for his bed and dresser to be delivered by the AF, which he had moved from Texas or Alabame, not sure. They said they had no record of it So he had to fax some papers. Hopefully they will find it.

He also joined the soccer club on base (he hasnt played since he was 5 or 6, LOL). Also signed up for some program of volunteers that pick up drunks from bars to drive them home. He said it would keep him from sitting home watching TV.
I asked about meeting any cute girls. He said "there are no cute girls in the AF". I'll never be a grandmother

fyi...learning mental health...has also taught me alot about the
quality of life, & the importance of being my brother's keeper.
the bible is holding hands..with mental health as well as everything
we feel makes life worth living. the ruler is time, so our manipulations
can only last so long. obviously, a system designed... for redemption
as long....we possess life.

no mystery, mental health..is a science..same as reality. and very,
very useful. really, no foolin..& fun. funny too. ha!

..ok, really,..what i observed?....2 major causes of emotional pain.
"losses"..& "lonliness"-,

which..is all about the ways we choice to live life. if one takes
advantage, and always hurting others..one day will wake up ,
no longer 30's, 40's, 50's 60's...and to reality, realizing....no other
person....cares whether you exist......or not, is a feeling "not
welcome". so, there are kickbacks...on the ways we decide to live
life.

Hate to post right after myself again, but I have to vent!

I was making a grocery list tonight. Random, as things came to mind. Then I remembered seeing shoppping lists online that had sections for say: meats, produce, etc. OK, so I google and find some. I found one I liked and printed it out, but I did not like the look of it when it was printed, plus it had no lines to write on (I am regressing to elementary school).

So I had some fun making my own in Excel. Lovely heading in read in fancy red script reading "Grocery List". 3 columns across and 3 down with various headings (each with a qty. and size column), divided by major lines between categories in short rows in yellow, and lines to write on within. Major Outline all around, minor outlines within. All around a lovely piece of work, designed to make shopping as efficient as possible.
Sounds confusing, but trust me, it is a fine piece of art!

I set print range to horizontal, fit all to one page, took out all margins. Print preview says "PERFECT". Oh boy, I think, now I can transfer my mishmash into an organized list and see what else I need.

So I went to print it. I got 1 (ONE) column vertically. WTH? Check settings again, yep looks good. Check print preview. Looks great! Same result!

Repeat: Same result!

Again: Same result!

I print things at work every day, I know print settings. WTH???????

I need a life!!!!!!!! Or a Housekeeper............

Ok, I'm a dork, sucker, or just crazy.

But I have been taken with an infomercial for months:

So, I told my DS that mother's day is covered, I ordered my present(s).

I ordered 2, cause I love tomatoes and zucchini. and I get the strawberry planter for just the shipping price.

I figure the investment will save me that and more in grocery bills.

I decided the East side of the house will be turned into my garden this year. I'm building raised beds and doing what ever I can to save money. I want to can and freeze what I can. I'm thinking a small freezer is in my future too.


Oh, anyone want a baby. 20 months, blonde hair, blue eyes, real cute. Just doesn't sleep at night, much.
