Its past noon here in Maine.......the air is nice and I have my youngest granddaughter here ........while our oldest grandson and his girlfriend came over and they just left to go and pick up PIZZA.........yummy....so I am going to have a piece of pizza for lunch.....had to have a little snack to keep my stomach happy and my blood sugar from falling to low.

Noon time and where are we ......Happy as a lark.

have I ever told you guys how lucky I am with such a great guy that we have been married for 42 years in may........I do love him a bunch......I must be getting emotional for some reason.......is it spring fever you say......is it hormonal you think ( in someone else's dreams)....is it lack of sunlight during the winter months here in Maine......maybe.....but I do love the guy.....

1. This is an up and coming name for those who wish to sound richie rich. Inspired by the J. Crew catalog, appropiate sibling names are Ecru and Celadon.

2. Whats up? It is so much cheaper to name your kid Doc than to foot the bill for medical school. I bet the big brother is Judge.

3. This is fresh alternative to the hundreds of little Colts, Foxxes and Dakotas.

4. Naming your child after the Greek Goddess of child birth is a bold move. I just hope it is that and not the character on "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia". Ack. However both the goddess and the character are GIRLS. I hope this isn't a modern day boy named Sue.

1. I think Crew is the new hoity toity name of the century. Abercrombie has to be a close second, n'est pas?

1. Those kids you posted earlier are already named Copy and Paste. Maybe you could "accidently" bring home a baby from work and name it Platypus. Platypus Depp flows nicely.

2. Me too. However there is some evidence of cowBOYs named Trinity like a whole 3 film movie series from the 50s and the fact that my little cousin married a guy named Trinity last year. He may not be a cowBOY but he is certainly something close (I think he parents have a farm or ranch in the Dakotas or Minnesota or somewhere like that.).

3. How nice of your friend to help you find some "street clothes"

2. I agree. He may be a farm boy. Or just a kid who used to live on a farm. There are plenty of those in the real midwest.

2b. So right before Brokeback Mountain came out, I bought Goldenchild (who was a baby) this darling little brown fleece lined denim jacket. Just like the one featured in the movie only size 12 months. The DH took to calling him "Brokeback Baby". It made me giggle. And worry that he might need therapy.

Things I have Actually Done For Good Candy

1. Be nice to overly huggy relatives.

2. Taken candy from a baby.

3. Answered questions in an 8 am graduate level genetics class at the risk of sounding snobby. Participation was lack luster so the teacher started handing out full sized snickers bars for good answers. I had snickers for breakfast quite a bit that semester.

4. Gone door to door on Halloween in costume. Even though I don't like talking to people I don't know.

5. Cultivated friendships with co-workers who keep candy jars on their desk.

6. Saved my meager earnings as a child to buy gummy worms, Lick-n-dips and chocolate bars at the dime store while on vacation.

7. Used a snack credit while on the dining plan.

8. Skipped lunch.

9. Took babysitting jobs for families with well stocked junk food cupboards.

10. Well, this one time.... at math camp......
