Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
I think I am about as much Irish as I am American Indian. However I am pro March holidays and dragging out my birthday a few more days. .
BDG et al. See the et al. is LATIN for "and others".... kind of an ancient "and anyone else I may have left out or too numerous to mention". One of my current students is a former mortgage underwriter who has been out of work a year. She was regaling me with stories of bizarro mortgages that crossed her desk. Oddly enough she had come to a different conclusion than I as to who was responsible. I agree with your last post about Cheney. I am interested in how the AIG mess unfolds. AIG says they were "contractually obligated" to provide those bonuses. IF that is true (which I doubt) they ought to sue their lawyers. Usually bonuses are tied to performance AND profits. Anyway- like you- I am done with this topic for today.
Moooving on: We are invited to a family friendly St. Paddy's Day party at one of the DH's coworkers (whom I have never met) friend's house.
WHAT should I wear?
