Hi Allie!

A link to what?

Wendy posted on the last thread we had , she didn't realize we hit 250 I guess.

Good for you for standing up for vacation day ....yay on the ice maker working too.

LOL, I just sent a link to the thread to Wendy too! I told her that we left breadcrumbs on the old thread . . .

I had a reflexology appointment after work tonight and I had her add on a half-hour accupressure massage to work some of the kinks out of my back. I feel much better now :goodvibes

Lynette - I was finally able to play my fake Scrabble move :goodvibes Don't know what was up with that :confused3

Cel - You're right! I forgot that it was just that you didn't want a re-run of Davy :lmao:

Are those your DIS Wish stats that you posted with the smilies? If so, w00t! If not, well I hope you're able to wear your dress Good job on all the exercising :)

Celmama - Sorry about your financial stuff. Sounds like Lynette has some good advice

DH and I ate at Tutto right after it first opened during free dining in 2007. I would have to concur with PJ's hQ observations! The food was OK, but they brought another person's dinner out to me instead of delivering it to the correct person. Oopsie! It took all us a while to figure out they had goofed up.

Twink! You are so busy, busy, busy! Glad the beurking is over.

Nabbie - Sorry to hear about your uncle :grouphug: It has been raining ALL DAY here. I'm so sick of it! But I guess at least it isn't snow.

Marita - Good for you, standing your ground for your vacation :thumbsup2

I'm not telecommuting this week. Or probably next week either :sad1: Too much going on that I have to be in the office for.

Tomorrow we are celebrating PI Day (3/14) early at work. With pies, of course!!! :dance3: (too bad I won't be able to eat any pie) There will be pi trivia with prizes and best of all, we can buy tickets to throw pies at our division chief and his assistant for $3.14 and the money goes to a local food bank. The pie throwing won't occur until our in-service training this summer (if it doesn't get canceled due to the budget) or at another time and location to be determined at a later date. Should be a fun afternoon!

Group shout out to all the other MOOvers! :upsidedow

Moo, reflexology sounds relaxing.

Never heard of PI day, sounds like fun.

The owner of the ice maker repair shop called at 10:50 pm tonight to ask if the ice maker was working. He knows DH goes to bed early, but he obviously had no regard for my sleeping habits. :sad2: Not that I was sleeping or anything.. But apparently they put in a new motor today. DH just left to work on F&G festival tonight.

Amen to a new ref. Mine is 30 yrs old and that ugly green. I have been working on Celery Man for a month. He is finally wilting. :} :) :)

Go, Celmama! Stainless steel is all the rage these days. I would be happy to just have one that matches my other appliances in beige or black, instead of white. But better to have one that works, not buying a new one just for color. Luckily mine faces the wall opposite from walking in the kitchen.

DH and DS shared a special moment today. Although DS doesnt know it yet. They BOTH got jury summonses on the same day! But obviously DS cant make it.

big L -
it's cocktail length, sleeveless, lined, white with a green print - kind of a cross between a floral and snowflake print - fitted through the bodice, full skirt
with a green sash.
:cutie:
I got it for $6.99!!!!!!!
Never worn it, because I don't go many places that require a cocktail dress.
it's very feminine and cute - it would be perfect for a girl's only tea at the GF!
or for a wedding.
I'm borrowing a black shrug to use over it - can't let my arm wings show!
now I just have to find shoes.

moo - yep - those are my actual WISH numbers. I figured I'd throw them in there while I was speaking smilie at peej.

celmama - work on celdad and see if I can borrow $1000 for school this summer. :)

marita - are you going Friday or saturday?
if it's saturday, I'll be at the magic kingdom. :( That's the day a coworker from dothan, AL is meeting me with her family. They can only afford one day, so she picked the magic kingdom since her boys have never been.
if it's friday, I'll be at Epcot.
thursday too.

I think, based on everyone's glowing reviews ;) that I'll go to the italian restaurant on my first day and do biergarten on my last day.

Celery-- The dress sounds very pretty. Where are you going. Did I miss that or just don't remember. :confused3 I hate shoe shopping. All the shoes I like are usually to high and I can not walk in them ,plus I would be towering over hubby.

The wind is really blowing today. Have to watch for blowing objects on road today. I saw one of those patio swings blowing down a drive way. :scared1:

Had to go out and get my license sticker for my car plate today and found out Hubby didn't put the insurance paper in the car since Aug. I had the old one. Good thing I never got stopped for something.

Report cards were good, Hannah was right to be excited about hers. Nicholas actually improved in a lot of subjects but Math. But his marks was not a surprise to us so all is good. No interviews requested by the teachers either so that is a good sign too.

We get swimming report cards today too. It is the last lesson for this session. Now we have a break until April 1st....:woohoo:

Moo-- I saw they named the know ships , can't wait to see what they do with the interior.

nab - I'm helping with a friend of a friend's wedding. I'm setting up the dessert reception for her and making sure everything goes smoothly.
including the sparklers as she leaves!
eek!

has anyone been to one of these sparkler weddings yet?
I'm thinking fire+kids+flowing dresses = DISASTER!

Can't say I have seen sparklers at a wedding. Will this be outside or inside? If people at too close I can see people getting burnt :confused3

Celery the wedding planner....since it is a friends wedding are you a guest as well?

Outside as she and the husband go to the car.

No - not invited- that's why I volunteered to help with the reception - cuz it sucks to ask someone you need at the wedding to be at the reception site instead.
so I offered.
cuz I love weddings.
and I'm a dork. :)

WAKEY WAKEY LET'S RUN AROUND NAKEY!

MommyP: I do not have high speed. Perhaps you were thinking of when the direct t.v. guy came to the house, but he was merely adding a line to our bedroom. b/c one of the docs at the hosp wanted to get rid of their big screen t.v. so they offered it to us. so we took it. it was only 4 years old. really cool. but we had to take the t.v. out of the game room to make room for the new ginormous one. so we put the biggish t.v. into our bedroom and decided to get direct t.v. in there cuz we only had local channels and apparently that's a thing of the past. Are you sorry you asked?

twink:so you think you're superior to Kentucky? geographically or otherwise? btw, I know a few people born in Kentucky (myself excluded but MAYBE two of my offspring included) that might take issue with your superior attitude.

Also, completely off the subject but thinking about two of my offspring being born made me think of my first ob/gyn. the one i wrote the first limerick about. his first name was "Barrett" his last name aint dis friendly. isn't that a hoot?:rotfl2:

Also, completely off the subject but since "nakey" is the theme for the day. A long time ago I had to have a proceedure done at the hospital. I had to be pretty much nakey for the thing. My thoughts were the following: "Please don't let Dr. X be my anesthesiologist." Guess who walks in? Dr X. He looks like he walked out of a freakin' male model catalog.

So now every time I see him and he says "Hi Elisabeth" All I can think of is "you saw me nakey!" However, it is a GREAT story to tell the new nurses. After he leaves and they are wiping the drool off their faces one of the other nurses will say "Hey, did you know he's seen Elisabeth au natural"

at first they are like . But then they are like: :rotfl:

New subject!

Nab, good job to Hannah and Nicholas.

Cel, Glad I could help you with your dining choices. yw. heh

PJ: thanks for the smileys. but you are an amateur. just sayin'

lynt: You are a lovely person too. I bet your 99 cats think so too.

Marita: how was work?

Moo: Appropriate names for the cruise ships. I Dream of going on a Disney Cruise, but it is only a Fantasy.

All y'all: Yo.

couldn't you have a blankie to cover your nakey?
why did they have to expose you?
why would the anesthesiologist need to even see those parts?
don't they stay near your head?
is real life surgery like nip/tuck? Are they taking pics?
:scared1:

Oh wait. I forgot.

Cel and Monica: Did you remember in the book Next by Michael Crichton that there is a company called Biological Data Group also referred to as BDG?

It cracked me up reading stuff like "Of course I know BDG" and "BDG is unquestionably the best when you have problems". I mean, c'mon, what kind of statement is THAT????

It kinda reminds me of how when I walk down the snack cake aisle I think of Twink or when I go to the veggie aisle I think of Cel or when I go to the cat food aisle I think of Lynt.....

What about the cracker aisle! come on, cracka nation unite!

Our hospital got rid of blankets d/t the recession. j/k

Yes, parts of me were covered, but certain parts were not and I know how the procedure is done and how he has to get up and walk across the room to get certain things and check stuff and then he is always so daggone helpful!!!! He helps the nurses move the patients to the operating table b/c we are dead weight b/c we are asleep and they dont cover you nice cuz they think you won't know cuz you are asleep.

oh good Lord I didn't even think about pics. THANKS CEL!!!!

So he didn't just see you nakey, he TOUCHED YOU NAKEY! :scared1: :rotfl:

and I really doubt the pics thing happened. I know I'm so scared of HIPPA and my compliance officer that even WATCHING them do that on nip/tuck freaked me out! :scared:

CELERYAMBERSTALKER! That is the LAST time I share a medical story with you. I didn't even think of such a thing until you said that.

Also, when I was watching nip/tuck I looked at The dh and said "They can't do that. HIPPA!" Although why would I expect them to obey any rules. I mean Christian was smoking dope right there in the office and Sean was having Biblical relations on the operating table with the anesthesiologist while Kimber was stealing Botox and injecting it into her baby's lips.

Peyton(not Manning). Place.
