It is a beautiful Spring like day out today.

Just got back from the school, they were having a publishing party for the grade 6 classes. The kids wrote a book on what happened to there homework. Some kids have great imaginations. They have been having an author come in every Tuesday for six weeks to show them how to make a picture book.

B-- are you laying on the floor taking that picture? Your going to have some nice bruising there. Have fun father/daughter dance. Don't land yourself back in the hospital when you spin on your head dancing to 80's music....

Celery-- come up and see me anytime! I keep having dreams lately that I am having another baby which is impossible now. Maybe because I have been shopping for a baby shower at my mom's this weekend.

Nab- I keep having dreams that I re-enrolled in college so maybe that is the same thing as your baby dreams.

Junkie-You do look like a good client there. Those track marks hurt as they heal. Also I had an IV for 4 days once so I am familiar with the resulting moonface. It will shrink back plus your skin will be youthful and glowing for months from the superhydration. In fact this little hospital trip is sounding more and more like a fancy spa vaction what with room service at 1, 3, and 5 am. Have fun at the dance. I am sure your daughter will love learning the robot and running man.

First off, thanks for the concern for DH and me. Nothing happened today, we still have jobs. Didn't hear about any layoffs either.

DS had graduation from his training class this morning and was named "Oustanding Contributor" of his class. He got a certificate that was signed by all his classmates.

BDG, that looks awful. Have fun at the dance.

NAB, I worked today, no sleeping in.
I asked the boss if I could leave at 4:30 today, you know, Friday and all. He NO, he was sorry, but his hands are tied.
But I am taking a day off on Monday.

BBN, AWEsome limericks again!
I think salaried employees get 8 sick days a year. I have never taken all of them. But this new stupid 9-5 policy is making me

Marita I went to the Bookstore to pick up the New Runners World Magazine, and read 5 "Just in case" WELL, the new RAchael Ray mag had an amazing ALARM CLOCK!!! I wrote the url - I'll get it later - but get this... this alarm clock is like a helicopter, if you dont shut if off, it flies around making annoying sounds till you get up and shut it off!!

I went out with some old friends tonight, courtesy of flawless directions from RS. How does he know where EVERYTHING is?????? I'm going to give him a quiz sometime.
ANYWAY. I met up with my bff from high school who lives in LooUhVull and teaches at another school in the district as well as my bff from elementary school. We've been bff since we were in 3rd grade but I hadn't seen her in about 2 years. It was so so nice to see both of them. We just talked and laughed for hours! They probably wanted to kick us out. It was really great to catch up though, felt just like old times! We were reminiscing about all the silly things we did through our elementary and middle school years. Good times, good times.

I need to get my nails done today, I cant procrastinate anymore. And get a giftcard for a baby shower on Friday, which involves going to the Walmarts, yikes!

It occurred to me last night that I lucked out scheduling Monday off. That gives me an extra day to adjust to the timechange.

I told y'all about geocaching, right? Where you take a gps and go find a hidden "treasure" someone has put out in the world somewhere?
Well there's also letterboxing - you don't need a gps since people write directions to it -
and inside the box is a book for you to stamp and a special stamp to use in your book.
Yay!
so me and Riley went letterboxing yesterday and found two. we looked for a third but did not find it.
so after the date, I got ed to go letterboxing with me in a park in the dark.
Perfect spot for a first kiss, right?
He didn't even try!
He patted my shoulder, made tentative plans for next weekend and left?

So I sent him a text:
"So....are you ever going to kiss me? "
He replied:
"I'm old and I'm slow. "
