I havent taken a picture of dh yet - :rotfl2: for some reason ds gf came home, and she was just... :scared1:at dh!! :rotfl2: He has such a baby face, with so many dimples!!!

Can you believe I'm up at this ungodly hour? And ready to go?
Me either!
But I am.
Heading back to Nashville for a meeting then off to the woods with the family!
There's wifi in the woods, so I'll check in later.

Nab - A 12 slice pizza hardy feeds 12 people. Only Marita would eat just once piece. ;)

Well I had a sleepless night. I had one child throw up half on my bed and half on the floor, meanwhile I was already feeling quite sick myself and Jeremiah also wasn't feeling well. I woke up at 5:15 because a light was on on the other side of the house and he was in his bathroom feeling the urge. He puked a little and he felt better. But this morning he isn't feeling well at all, either am I. And now Isaac is acting very cranky.

So I'm lying in bed doing nothing, while Isaac runs around the house unsupervised because Jeremiah is my biggest helper and he isnt able to. Yuck.

Allie- WB, glad things went well with your mom!

MP- I hope all the be'urking stops post haste. Also that Isaac doesn't get into too much trouble on his day of unsupervision. Just throw some manna on the floor and you can vacuum when you feel better.

Lil G- You always have something nice to say.... your mother did a great job. :wizard:

Marita- I hope all your hard work will allow you go back to working from the couch
sometimes.

Sandy- we really need before and after pictures to get the full effect.

Moo- Good job on hanging in there with healthy eating choices.

NAB- Congrats on the Girl Guide. I always bring dessert to stuff like that if I have a choice. Our church sometimes has true potlucks (lots of good cooks!) and sometimes they have a menu so you sign up to bring something on it... that works out really well too.

Celery- get up! get up! the sun is up!

Lynt- where are you scooby doo?

PJ- Did you see Clem on the field trip?

BBN- So did you find a bathing suit? or a law suit?

twink: I found neither but the weekend is young and ya never know what a bbn might do.:rolleyes1

Hi everysinglebodyinthewholewideworld!

Not to stir the pot, but....

I did see that a friend of mine posted this article on facebook.

Couple Ordered to Stop Holding Bible Study at Home Without Permit, Pastor David Jones and his wife Mary have been told that they cannot invite friends to their San Diego, Calif. home for a Bible study — unless they are willing to pay tens of thousands of dollars to San Diego County.

Twinkie - He didn't even want his manna this morning when told he could sit in a big boy chair and come and go as he pleases.

BabyN - A friend of mine posted that on FB too. Very scary. I hope it just has to do with gated communities and too many cars involved and cranky neighbors. Hopefully they are allowed to continue or win their lawsuit.

 back atcha'all

TGIF

:banana::dance3::yay::banana:

:rotfl2:at bathing or law suit!!

I'm trying to convince dh to do a roadtrip to Indiana - we'll swing by and kidnap his mother (she wont recognize him ) then party up to Ft Wayne at my parents house!:hippie: I told dh I need to post pictures... he said he's tired of people laughing at him because he looks 17 but with grey hair :lmao: HE SO DOES too! (and I try not to laugh, I distract him by kissing his bare cheek :lmao: then he starts laughing :rotfl2: I feel like a Cougar kissing him tho!! :rotfl2:)

interesting about hte lawsuit, I'm sure there is more to the story - some condo owners sign the lease and all is well and good unless they want to do something, then they all claim rights to the constitution - I remember a few cases where a family that had Bible Studies in their home and an internet "pastor" certificate then tried to claim tas free status with the IRS...

so on the surface I'd be all about civil rights, but I would have to dig deeper, and I think they are all paying lawyers to do that for them... (I lived in a development with an association - and saw on the news another association was suing a homeowner who wouldnt keep their dog on a leash - that man was going around filming all the other homeowners that didnt leash their dogs - it got complicated)

I am hoping this is the case. There is a deeper story not being told. Some homeowners associations are brutal. I recently heard about one that wouldn't allow the homeowners to fly an American Flag.

Ethan has puked the longest. Every time he drinks something it comes back up. Isaac has some lovely runny poop run down his leg and onto the carpet. :scared1: That was fun:sad2: I took a nap, now I'm waiting for Chad to get off work so I can call him and ask him to pick up my prescription.

Happy Friday, my Moover friends! I am ever so thankful for the weekend, and that we are one day closer to summer vacation. w00t! I'm this guy:

I took the day off to attend Boris' end-of-the-year music concert at school. This was his last ever concert at that school, since 4th and 5th grade is a separate school in my town. *sniff* The kids sang AND played various instruments, which was very interesting. I was afraid of what the recorder portion of the concert would sound like, but they did a fabulous job! God bless that music teacher! :lmao:

After school, I picked up Boris and Natasha and one of Boris' school friends. This is our first time having this particular boy over for a playdate, and I daresay it will be the last. He's a screecher, keeps panicking over nothing, and his table manners are non-existent. My kids had steak tips and rice with asparagus and mushrooms. This child ate his suppah (plain pasta and steamed broccoli, which is all he EVER eats, according to his mom) with his FINGERS! :scared1: He's NINE!!!!!!! Both my kids were horrified when he picked up a handful of rotini off his plate and shoved it into his mouth, caveman-style. At NINE????????

Anyway, I read back over all that I missed. In an effort to post this before I have to drop cave-boy at his house, I'll say this:

MommyP, hope you and all the boys feel better soon! Sending prayers for immediate recovery your way.

BBN, sup? How long before the little babynurses get out of school for the summer?

Twink, Holla!

Moo, great job sticking to your good foods! Keep it up!

Cel, WiFi in the woods? Why does this inspire Unabomber images? :rotfl:

Allie, glad your mom is back home and doing well!

Sandy, let's see before-and-after pics of your DH!

Marita, rejoice! It's the weekend! Plunk yourself on the couch and indulge in some dreck and drivel!

Did somebody mention dragging out the chat flag for later? :confused3

Don't say old dogs can't learn new tricks! I hereby sign my name to Lynt's replies as well :rolleyes1

Martha, steak tips with rice and asparagus on a Friday for suppah? Sounds like Sunday dinner to me.
Yay for the great concert.
That caveboy sounds like a disaster :sad2:

I finished my work for BB last night and sent it in at 12:52 AM. Went to bed at 1:40 AM (was awake in bed till after 2) and got up at 7 AM. Then I stayed at work till 5:15. But this is forecast week, so it's a busy week, hopefully other weeks will be better.
There is hope for the future though, a manager I work with for forecast and I discovered today that we are on the same wavelength to automate things and speed things up in the future.
For example, today for the VP presentation, the numbers are pulled in via links, but the text explanations are manually typed in. It can be automated to pull in the numbers into the text without having to manually edit things. (For any tech geeks out there, if there are any "concatination")
As for working more from my couch again, no chance till 8 hr nazi guy is gone, after that, I'll have to see.

TGIF!!!!!

Alas and alack, it's only in the lobby areas. :(
(For any tech geeks out there, if there are any "concatination")
Concatenating is my favorite thing ever!!!!! :cloud9::laughing:I'm such a nerd.

Oh well. I'll check in with y'all later!
I'm going to take pictures this weekend so I'll have some to post later.

Cel, you are fellow nerdy Geek, who knew?????:hug:

Have fun, looking forward to pics!

I should eat dinner, but somebody brought by fudge at 2:30, and I had 5 pieces of chocolate at 4:30 or so.....

PSA! Jay Leno's last Tonight show tonight. Should be interesting..

From Jay Leno's Jay walking:

Q: "Which president was nick-named tricky dick?

A: Bill Clinton?

LOL

Good morning everyone! I'm still in the woods.
I woke up at 6, made some coffee, got ready - family was all still asleep at 7:30 when I left. They'll probably still be asleep when I get back. :sad2:

My mom woke up for a bit -
cel mama and cel dad have seperate bedrooms at home - so we thought it'd be nice for them to sleep in the same room here, but each in their own queen bed.
apparently celmama couldn't sleep because celdad kept choking. (he has congestive heart failure and won't eat right or take his meds right, so he always has tons of fluid, added to sleep apnea even though he has a cpap, he can't breathe)

You would think with 4 bedrooms, 2300 sq feet and only 6 people there would be plenty of room.
:rolleyes1

Not sure what we'll do tonight. I left mom in my bed, but I don't think I'll give up my room tonight. we'll see. popcorn::

So how are y'all!

2300 is bigger then my house!

Poor Cel mama. Hope she gets some sleep now. I missed it , why are you in "the woods" a vacation?

My BIL is here this morning digging along the house to put a bigger window in the basement and fix a crack in the foundation. We found a fine crack on one of the walls. He fixed it and since it is where he has to dig for the window he is going to check the crack isn't all the way though. He is pretty handy and can do all this stuff. Even owns his own Bob Cat digger thing.

Marita-- I see you watched Leno. I recorded because I couldn't stay awake last night, was in bed at 10:00. Bill Clinton and George Bush are in Toronto this weekend having a debate...:confused3 Don't know why they are not in charge anymore.

Lynette-- a nine year old that eats with there hands...ewww. At least you didn't have to spoon feed him.

Hannah has her last Brownie camp....actually it is her first Girl Guide camp. They have to learn to put up their own tent. Brownies were in a cabin with bunks.

Nicholas knee seems to be healing, he can at least put some weight on it now. He is stubborn. He wants to move. I think he will do more damage if he is on it too soon.

Good morning!

Nab, you asked Cel tha same thing I was going to ask, LOL.

Cel, why the heck were you up at 6am?? :confused3

Poor Nicholas hope he is better soon. Yay for Hannah putting up a tent. Fun for kids. My idea of camping is a big RV, LOL.

I don't think there was any chat last night. I was too pooped anyway,

Jay was pretty good last night, but I liked the night before better. Billy Chrystal was on and sang a funny recap of the years. I bet it's on Youtube somewhere.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/05/29/billy-crystals-song-for-j_n_208966.html

This other woman i work with (I need to come up with a name for her) is having a pool birthday party today for her daughter who turns 6. She is having 16 kids over, plus a lot of the moms. Can you imagine, 16 5 and 6 year olds? Shudder!!!
I'm going to attempt to do something productive around the house today.
ATTEMPT being the operative word :rolleyes1

Hey Nab - I decided to use my time share points to take my family on a little getaway.
it's 2 hours from our house and in the woods with lakes, etc.

Celery-- that was nice of you to take you family for a getaway. Are you enjoying yourself so far?

Marita-- thanks for the link. I heard Billie Crystal was on the other night and that he was Jay's first guest when he started.

I did not know how much work it takes to get a basement window out. And the dust....I also had to transplant some of my plants that have been there since we moved in 12 years ago. They were huge. I split one into 6. What a job! I am going to be sore tomorrow.

I came in for drink don't tell the guys I am taking a break...

Nab, I won't tell the guys, no worries

I have been working on getting dinner ready for an hour, I keep taking breaks too

Packed away 4 dress pants that no longer fit. Actually, I dont think they ever fit! I really need to get some new clothes. Maybe I'll shop online later today.
I chopped onions, got chicken livers ready. I bought 2 pounds (why dont they sell them by 1 pound? ) Most packs are like 1.7 pounds, which totally messes up the recipe, Anyway, I found a 1.9 lb pack. I got those ready and decided to put half of it and half of the onions in the freezer. Taking a break myself.

OK, back to cooking....... And hey, I vacuumed and folded and put away clothes too! Woot!
