Evening, Moovers!
Moo, what did you find on your porch?
Is PJ gone already? How long is she going for?
Welcome back, CEL!
Well, I went on my first ever Dutch treat Team Outing today. Lunch at Red Lobster. I ended up with a cup of cream of potato(e) and bacon soup, which was good, and ate 3 cheese biscuits. Those things are GOOG! Havent been to a RL in many years. $6, w00t!
They had a special of "add lobster tails for $12.99 to any entree, or get a lobster meal for $28.99", no thanks)
Then we went to play mini-golf at the hard course at Fantasia Gardens. That was fun, we were quite liberal with the rules. I got 4 strokes at every single hole

I had somesome climb into gulleys or roughs to get my ball or hit it out, as I am not about to do that at my tender old age. I was admired for my consistancy of 4 strokes at each and every hole.

The weather was great for it, 70's but overcast. It got pretty hot when the sun came out a few times. $6.97 with 50% discount.
So after 2 hours of play, we moved on to Beaches and Cream for ice creams. I got a hot fudge sundae. It was good, but for my taste, not enough fudge and whipped cream. I think it's restricted by the shape of the container. I think that was around $7 (no discount). SO overall not a too expensive day, and we got out of the office before we get seperated sometime soon.
Knitfreak news update:
So her Fiancee went to apply to another company for a job on Monday (more pay). I thought it was kind of not good ethics, as he got paid for 2 months of training and had not even started a normal job yet. But then they told him everybody was getting a 10% paycut. Anyway, he was on the interview Monday and they offered him a job that he accepted.
On Wednesday, he had to go back to the new company for some paperwork, and they asked him if he could start on Monday instead of April 13. He said no problem. Then he called his current company to say he would be a little late, and got informed that all the trainees that were in his class were getting let go!

So he lucked out.
Today, KF was complaining about having him home every night (he worked second shift) and how it messed up her TV schedule, LOL. And bemoaning the fact that he will be home every night for at least 8 weeks during training at the new company.
I recommended my 2 TVs are essential plan, but apperently it does not work so well with people married less than almost 40 years. As in our Internal Control guy said, if he goes off to watch a show, his wife complains they dont spend enough time together. Whatevah!!!
DH now has 3 times the area to cover. Oh joy!
Still no clue what will happen to us.
