HELLO MOOVERS!!!! :wave2:

Well, we made it back from Hotlanta! (those of you who are on FB, know that already :rotfl2:)

You can see photographs of our week in the homeland. ;) <-shameless plug

But DD ran a fever Saturday night and has been complaining of her back hurting. Looked at her urine this morning and it is VERY dark. Can kids get Kidney Stones? :confused3 Anyway, we have an appt. at 11:00 this morning. She is a drama queen so it is hard to determine whether this is really bad or not. I'm hoping the Dr. can do a test (aka pee in a cup) and determine what is going on. She hasn't run fever since Sat. night, but I'm not sure my thermometer is working properly because she feels hot to me.

Lex - The ONEderland looks ONEderful! :thumbsup2 Glad to "see" you around again, sister.

Twinks I was going to post something snarky - but it just didnt work!! Hope you get your work all done!

Lexi AWESOME!! You look mahvelous! and the curtains are perfect!! :goodvibes Glad you found time to come out and play!!

Alli unfortunately kids can get stones!! poor thing, and I know my ds that is surely hypochondriac, when he got him - it was hard to believe, and you get to the doctor and find out how bad he really is and you feel.... :guilty: Hopefully all will be well, and just a dose of antibiotics!!

Marita did you get to work on time? How's that going?

Moo I have to say it MOOOHOOOTY!! :woohoo:One day at a time, one step at a time, dont look at that big picture, look at what you CAN DO!!! and YOU ARE doing it!! :woohoo:

Lynette are your kids on spring break?

MommyP hope you are still feelin goog! I know you must have lots of work keeping everything running smoothly!!

CeleryMama any news from the Celbaby? Hope all is well, reading on the Theme Park Boards and the posters are saying its really crowded down there! FP and rope drops are the way to go!

Things are still complicated here, I get to work a half day today! Spring Break is next week! DD and I have to do some fundraising - the Mission Trip is $500 a person, and we only have to pay $100 then do fundraising - anyone want to buy spring flowers from our local garden store? lol - the big one is the Steak Dinner and auction - it made $5,000 last year, someone matches it - so it should be goog!

:banana:No political threads or siggy's? I wonder how people are going to refrain from that! I know there are a lot of sneaky political signatures - people do what they gotta do, and believe what they believe - religion, politics..

Hey we can talk about SEX!!

Nabbie - I promise to take it slow and easy! I'm just thankful that I'm feeling so much better than I thought I would. I have to conserve some of my leave for follow-up appointments, etc. I really do think I'll be fine to go back to work after a week or so.

Sandy - That's great that you're going to be able to work a bit! Goog luck with your fundraising :thumbsup2

Get back to work, Twink! ;) I also saw the no politics or religion edict on the CB :scared1: Did you notice that all edits are recorded now?! :confused3 Yikes.

Allie - Hope your DD feels better soon :grouphug:

Does anyone watch Young and the Restless? Did they get a new actor to play Nick? I may have to check with one of my friends to get the scoop since I haven't watched any soaps for ages.

bdg - Interesting post . . . at least it wasn't political or religious  I never knew that about Plath's husband's mistress and child. That sounded like a very sad case of what goes around comes around.

Did you notice that all edits are recorded now?! :confused3 Yikes.

Recorded , what does that mean?:confused3

Moo so glad your feeling so well. Can't help you with Y&R haven't watched in years. Watch Days but don't know why...habit I guess.

I am digging though old boxes in the basement today. My brother inlaw is going to finish some of our basement and wants it empty.:scared1: We have to much junk! My hubby is a hoarder. Plus Hannah has a ton of toys down there that she still plays with but I take them down there to make room upstairs. We switch them out. How many doll cradles, high chairs and strollers does one child need anyway. But they are so cute I can't get rid of them at our garage sale yet. I need help.... I keep thinking I would love to save them for her children.

Allie -- how is your dd, was it kidney stones? Hope it is just an infection and you can get antibotics for it.

Sandy-- good luck with your fundraising. What a great thing your going to be doing for the mission.

Twinkie-- I sent you a maid on FB didn't she show....:lmao:

Good afternoon, Moovers! Hope y'all had a good weekend!

Visiting royalty, skimmers, MIA peeps and anyone else who doesn't read the community board: Political and religious discussion, threads, clip art and signatures are now illegal here on the disboards. Just sayin'

Would you like to forward our list of preferred topics to the Webmasters, or shall I?

Lynette are your kids on spring break?

Nope. Here in the Commonweird of Massachusetts, the kids have a week off in February and then another in April, but no time off in March. Don't know why. :confused3

Melinda, so nice to see you! Love the pics of your new digs! How do the kids like your new place?

Moo, I agree with the others...take as much sick time as you need. You don't want to rush to return to work and set your recovery back inadvertently!

NAB, it's darn cold here too! The temps are in the 20's, with wind chill in the single digits! ACK!

Peej and BBN, where's my slice, dangit?

Gotta go look busy.....see you later!

Nabbie - Well, I could have sworn that I saw a box that tracked post edits down near where the Bookmark box is located :confused3

Maybe these pain meds are making me loopier than I thought they were!!! :lmao:

L - I'm just imagining how our preferred topic list would read!

Hi, Mony!

Moo -- it did say Tags down there but it is now gone.

Is it my server or the Dis that is making the pages come up real slow.....

Lynette -- I saw Wendy got snow so I will take the cold over that. I still have one small pile of snow in front of my garden. It is in the shade so it needs some real warm tempt. to get rid of it.

Moo: Good to see you up and about.

Lynt: I saved ya a slice. It's in the fridge. Come out from under the window and get it anytime.

Twink: Ty for that useful info. I may not be visiting royalty, but I was out of the loop.

Everybody: :wave2:

My kids are on spring break this week. We had a nice day today. I definitely miss them being babies, but I laughed so loud at the restaurant at lunch, I nearly "pirates of penzanced". I enjoy how they interact as older kids.

AND, today I was being a bit of a smartypants to Julia Roberts. I thought my humor would go over all of their heads, but after I said it, Miracle Boy started snickering. That was cool.

Cya latah.

The Dis is loading slow for me too this afternoon.

Well, at least I found some better daytime :happytv: to watch. The Bonnie Hunt and Rachael Ray shows.

Hey Moo. I assume you are feeling alright. Here's to a quick recovery period. BBN. My kids had spring break last week. I'm glad they are back at school but they aren't.

Hi, Mony!

Well we all are just desperate housewives right??? ;)

TAGS - wth does that mean?

No snow left here! Next week is Spring Break - tomorrow DD goes on a "class outdoor education" ropes course and climbing wall - and its mighty cold, and it 'pears it may rain! BRRRRrrrrr

:goodvibesThanks for the fundraising wishes!! I'm so not a salesperson!

Thanks, B. So far, so good! Did you do anything fun with the kids over spring break?

bbn - YOU were a smartypants to your kids??! Imagine that, LOL :teeth: What a cool mom!

Evening, Moovers. I, like Twinkessori, should not be here. Tomorrow is the big day that all the internship stuff is due. So far the document I've been working on with all the data, lesson plans, analysis, blah blah blah is 32 pages. This was worse than my senior research project. I can't wait to turn it in and never look at it again!

Lex...thanks for checking in! The house looks great!! I love your girly bedroom. Check in whenever you can; we miss you!

Moo...glad to hear the recovery's going so well. :thumbsup2 Tomorrow for daytime tv watch Ellen for me. ;)

Twink...did ya get it all done????

Allie...welcome back!! Any report on DD from the doctor?

L...did I not tell you I would fedex you a mushroom? I hear fedex is the most reliable. It's probably just a rumor though. I dunno.

bbn...hope you and the lil trollops have a fantastic spring break! :cheer2: What's on the agenda for tomorrow?

I'm off to sing my happy little working song. Either that or I'm dragging my feet and really not wanting to do this. One or the other.

Sandy-- you put goog and moovers down as tags? That is what I see. And when we use the User CP there is a small pencil ( at first I thought it was a baby bottle :lmao:) beside the thread name. Interesting, so if you search those two words it brings you to our thread?

Moo-- I watch some of Bonnie Hunt today too. Martin Sheen was pretty funny , especially his story about Paula Abdul. I am a Ellen fan more though and I do watch the View just to hear the current events or hot topics.

P.J-- is your car fixed now? Good luck on the intern stuff.

Babynurse-- I am still trying to get used to the music my kids listen too. Must have been how my parents felt when they listen to ours.... Glad you had fun today with you kids...

Hi Nab. Have you guys gotten above 0 degrees yet?

BDG

Hello from the World, all!
I cheated on Mickey today! :scared1:
First time ever.
We went to islands of adventure - me and Michael rode hulk twice in a row with no wait (He's crazy for a 51 year old!) then me, michael and Greg rode spiderman.
after that, I started feeling sick. I swear it was Mickey guilt! I took a cab back to Pop - as soon as I set foot on disney property, I felt better! ha.
I slept all day.
Michael and greg are picking me up for dinner at Spoodles.
I'm wearing my eeoyore? How do you spell that? toile skirt. :cutie:

Now I'm going back to read!

Yes last week we even got to 7 :lmao: But this morning we are back to -13 :sad2:

Did you see Red Eye(Fox news?) on You Tube about our miltary today? Don't know how to link it. Canadians are not to happy with Americans today I tell you.

Peej - Goog luck on your internship project! :goodvibes

Ellen tomorrow. Check! I have a hazy recollection of seeing part of an Ellen show on Friday, but all I remember is that she was dancing. Guess I need to check the TV Guide.

Jimmy Fallon was pretty funny on Rachael Ray today. Love hearing his Barry Gibb impression! He was even more hysterical a couple weeks ago on his first late night show with Justin Timberlake. They were really riffing off each other like an SNL skit.

Cel! You're cheating on Mickey?!!! :rotfl: I'm holding off on going to Islands of Adventure until the Harry Potter stuff opens.
