MOOvers on the MOOve Again

wonder if it is warm in Disney...CEL are you having a good time and are you warm.......I wish~~~~~

It's been beautiful during the day, but CHILLY at night!
It's been very crowded. Michael and Greg didn't get to ride Toy Story yesterday -
I got to the park at 8:30 and at 9 went to RocknRoller coaster so I could get fast passes (two before 10! woo!) - but I couldn't get fast passes for all of us until 11:35 -
and toy story was out of fast passes by then!!!!


We started heading towards fantasmic about 7:45 - the show didn't start until 8:30, so we were going to ride Tower of terror first -
FANTASMIC WAS ALREADY STANDING ROOM ONLY!

So we rode tower of terror three times in a row with no wait instead.
tee hee.
poor greggy. the third time was too much for him -
and spiderman made him feel gross today.
I got nauseous after spiderman (probably the two rides on hulk in a row helped), but even after I ate, I felt wuckety.
I think maybe I was just worn out. Although my head is still hurting now .

the flower and garden festival IS AWFUL!
Tell the higher ups that we are unhappy, marita! there's nothing in the garden center! very disappointing, especially since last year was cool and greg was looking forward to it.
Michael and greg did spend some time talking to the festival poster artist and she pointed out the hidden mickey she put in the poster.

and we missed davey jones! ack!
well, we saw him when he arrived - but we got distracted in norway.

Kimpossible ROCKS! it is so much fun! I love it! all 6 to 10 year olds will have a blast - and maybe some parents too.
I've been telling everyone I see that's the right age about it.

universal was dead today - might have been the rain, or just because universal isn't disney

michael has celiac's (gluten/wheat puts him in the hospital) and Disney has been AWESOME!
Universal sucked.
When we asked today what had gluten in it, the chef said "More or less everything." because he didn't want to be bothered.
With disney, he's had the managers (even in quick service places) go make his meal personally so there was no cross contamination -
and he got gluten free mickey waffles!
he was in heaven!

Me and greg looked at each other after the universal experience and said "it's not disney."

Sorry I've not been around. Been busy here at the new house. I'm loving being in a house where everything is clean and everything WORKS! Wow!

I got my brand spankin new sofa yesterdee! It's awesome. The dining room chairs where mighty hard after a couple of weeks.

Here's a picture for ya....

Here are my bedroom curtains when they were almost finished.

My mother HAD to see a picture so my uncle took one before he left. Bless his heart. He was here for 6 hours installing curtain rods, wall sconces, etc, etc. Anyway, the window was off-center in the room...which bothered me. So, I hung the panels to make the window appear centered. OK?

Anyway, lovin' it here in one-derland. The laundry is negligible and dishes are few. It's all good.

Any news to report here in the pasture? I'll check in again soon.

FYI I'll have you know I walked 5 cars away the other day to return to stupid cart. Even though there were about 10 carts uncorraled between my truck and the corral.

1. Ellen tomorrow. Check! I have a hazy recollection of seeing part of an Ellen show on Friday, but all I remember is that she was dancing. Guess I need to check the TV Guide.

2. Jimmy Fallon was pretty funny on Rachael Ray today. Love hearing his Barry Gibb impression! He was even more hysterical a couple weeks ago on his first late night show with Justin Timberlake. They were really riffing off each other like an SNL skit.

3. Cel! You're cheating on Mickey?!!! I'm holding off on going to Islands of Adventure until the Harry Potter stuff opens.

1. I got addicted to Ellen during my recovery period! she's so cute and funny! I used to dvr her show.

2. I wish I could have seen that! I love jimmy and Justin both (of course, Twink knows that! Since I am a 13 year old girl.).

3. Good idea.
I'm scared harry potter is going to be lame now. I was so looking forward to it.
On the plus side, hulk and spiderman were both cool -
but I was disappointed with the look of seuss landing - and toon lagoon - it reminded me of a carnival instead of the immersion I was expecting.
jurassic park was ok - but throughout the park, the music was way too loud.
and the employees, when they noticed you, were pushy instead of helpful.
and being bombarded with city walk reminded me of vegas instead of disney.
all in all, I was not impressed.
And I SWEAR I went in with an open mind!

So far the document I've been working on with all the data, lesson plans, analysis, blah blah blah is 32 pages. This was worse than my senior research project. I can't wait to turn it in and never look at it again!

Had ava today and had a great day....At noon my dil and two grandkids came and she had to use our dryer.....hers bit the dust but being that it is only 3 years old and it was like 1100 for it.......they negoiated with the homeowners when they bought the house....so my hubby is over looking at it before they send in the fix it guy....

I had my bone density thingie this pm....so dil watched ava while i went to the hospital to have it done......

Cel is having a good time I can listen to her voice in her report......LUCKY PERSON......and yah who is Michael..

Sorry didn't mean to go MIA on ya', but I have been attached at the hip to my patient. She has used the excuse "because I'm sick ya' know", to get out of everything, or get something of benefit. I'm like this....

Anyway, NO stones - good thing, but he thinks it is a viral UTI - bad thing. So I just have to wait it out unless the urine sample grows some kind of bacteria overnight which proves it is a bacterial infection, then we will get an antibiotic. The Dr. gave her an analgesic pill to take that will help with the pain when she pees. Well, luckily he warned us that it would color her urine because it is bright ORANGE!! He also said there was sugar in her urine, and he wanted to do a blood test. Well, DD FREAKED!!! My dad has Type 2 diabetes and my niece has Type 1. So, she has been scared that she might get it someday. She is a bit of a worrywart/drama queen. Anyway, the Dr. came back and told her that her urine was fine, and had to sit her down and explain what he was doing, and that he would have to test her again in about a week, so he could see if this was a fluke, or if she has sugar in there all the time. He said that some people do, but he needs to know that kind of information to help her in the future.

Well, she has complained about the finger prick all day! I know it hurts, but come on not 4 hours later.

She will stay home with me tomorrow since she still has fever.

Hi to everyone else!

I was thinking today of taking Friday off as a vacation day before the new madness of the shortened forecast timeline next week. But the boss put a team outing for Friday. The meeting proposal detail said "it's almost the end of Quarter 1". Try again, it's almost the end of Quarter 2!
In better times, we did a quarterly team outing somewhere on property. Obviously that didn't happen due to the economy. But now with the cutbacks in personnel, we all know at least one person will be moved somewhere. Don't know who or when or where, but it will happen sooner rather than later. I might lose Knitfreak or Asst #2, or the sister resort may lose a person, or a combination, don't know. So now is the time to do an outing before we get split up. I would be hard pressed to pick between Knitfreak and Asst #2 as to who I would be willing to give up, they both have great, but different strengths. Not that I will be asked, most likely. The guy at the other resort has very strong technical skills. So it will be a big loss any way it goes.

With the crowds in the parks, I suggested minigolf. We'll see. Lunch somewhere before hand.

Pumba - I'm trying to behave! I didn't do anything strenuous today.

Hubby picked up some strawberry protein mix that I had in the hospital so I'd have a little more variety, so I mixed some up and it tasted OK. But I'm thinking they may have mixed it with something other than water.

Marita - Ack! Hope they don't take either of your assistants away. So did you suggest mini-golf for your team meeting? Are you meeting up with Cel?

souviners?...on our last one, they gave out disneyland paris
rain punchos. it was fun collecting the lil'stickers...they used
for excursions & the "games". on cc, i came across..some mickey
& the gang..shirts....you never kno what might pop up, so
just be ready..to seize..the moments.


..& one my favorite things, sitting on deck with midnight pizza,
watching all the runners, trying to burn off their daily intakes.

I did excuse myself briefly to go buy Twilight. Tomorrow I have to turn all this junk in to my committee first thing. Then, tomorrow morning I will be a reality tv star. Oh yes, it's true. I have to have a camera following me from 9:30-11. Then the tape goes to my committee (principal, other teachers, people from the university, etc.), and we all sit down and watch it. That's tomorrow afternoon. I hate watching myself on video. Especially in front of other people. AND they'll be looking to critique me. I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow. Wish me luck! And cross your fingers that the thugs are on their best behavior. Tomorrow at this time this will all be over!!

Hello from the World, all!
I cheated on Mickey today!
First time ever.
We went to islands of adventure - me and Michael rode hulk twice in a row with no wait (He's crazy for a 51 year old!) then me, michael and Greg rode spiderman.
after that, I started feeling sick. I swear it was Mickey guilt! I took a cab back to Pop - as soon as I set foot on disney property, I felt better! ha.
I slept all day.
Michael and greg are picking me up for dinner at Spoodles.

Now I'm going back to read!

1. OHMYGOSH!!! This made me snort laugh because it is so true!!!! The other interns and I plan to go out for a rousing discussion of educational enrichment after tomorrow. Aka we're going to Friday's. I'm not going to laminate it, but it is in sheet protectors in a binder with tabbed sections. I'm a little obsessive.

Not just anyone is qualified to teach thugs. You have to do an internship before you get your actual teaching license. My current license is provisional. Provisional upon me successfully completing my internship year.
