I'm supposed to be eating at Boma right now, but instead I am here. Stuck at the stinking hospital. FOREVER. My emotions are torn between being with Kaleb(even though he is signifigantly better, he wants me by his side) and being with Isaac(who has an ear infection and is sad and missing Mama and Ellie who needs to be nursed. I sent Mom home with about 17-20oz of Breast milk this afternoon. And she is going to bring her to me tomorrow morning to stay the day and Chad will bring her back to Mom tomorrow afternoon. I'm afraid my supply is going to suffer from being away from her. :( He has 2 types of pneumonia. Mycoplasma and Strep. So he is on IV antibiotics for 72 hours. Today at 5ish was 24. Waaaaaaaaaaaah. Thankfully he has had no fever all day. But with that is trying to keep a VERY active 4 year old boy still and in bed when he feels so much better. He already lost 1 IV. His arm blew up the size of an adults. lol. He only has one more arm to go. And everytime he moves too much his o2 and bpm moniter goes wild because it's not reading properly and thinks he's died.

Celery - Have fun at your party. Get some stoneware for me. ;) Not FOR me, but for me. lol

Ahhh . . . slept in and having a lazy Saturday at home. I'm caught up on all my shows. It feels good to just putter around. Up next, starting a big pot of chili. My hubby says he's not sick of it yet :lmao: I think he just likes having it available so he can nuke it and not have to figure out what to cook for dinner.

Peej - I saw your vacation photos over yonder. You look so cute in your Jessie costume!!!

MommyP - Hope Kaleb is sprung soon and that you can have your F&WF fix next weekend :)

Cel - How was the Pampered Chef party? I've broken a couple of the pizza stones. They sure were nice when I had them. I use my chopper all the time.

The party went well. I'm worn out!

Everyone has gone home and it's just me, breadman and the kids. ANd riley and little man.
I'm not sure why little man is still here. He usually goes home.

Hayden wants to make her halloween costume. and I'm the only person who really sews. So she and I are working on it.
oh goodness.
I'm trying to make her do most of it.
She's cut out the pattern and now she's working on cutting the fabric. We'll see how much of the sewing she actually does.

mommyp - I hope Kaleb gets better soon.

Celery - Glad your party went well. I've been to 1 PC party and it was fun. I liked the stoneware, but thought t gadgets were all copied from Tupperware, which they were. lol. Being an ex Tupperware consultant, well, you know. :lmao:I did buy a chocolate milk stirrer, which sucks. It doesn't do what she said it would. I would have loved to have bought some stoneware, but we were unemployed at the time.

Moo - I love chili, Friday is our annual chili dinner at church, which I will hopefully be missing. lol. If it would ever cool off I will have to make some. It's still in the 90's. :headache:

Still here. The Dr. came in yesterday and gave us some hope. Said we could go home yesterday if his x-rays from that morning looked good. He came back 45 minutes later and said nope. Why give someone hope? Look at the freakin x-rays before you tease someone like that.

So we got moved to the main peds. floor. The rooms are small and dark. before we had one whole wall of a HUGE window that overlooked the sunset and a lake. We were on the 5th floor so you could see all the hotels on the beach from there. Now the window is tiny and overlooks a roof. The walls are dingy yellow and DIRTY. I wiped the entire place down with alcohol wipes when we got here. It's like a coffin. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO depressed I just want to cry. I miss my babies SO much. Plus being on the main unit there is NOISE. They keep bright lights on in the hallway and we have windows in room into the hallway. Last night some kids was SCREAMING on the top of his lungs for hours. I think his parents left him alone because he kept calling for his Mommy. What kind of parents leave their little kids alone in the hospital? So scary. Finally he stopped. But I think nurse hang out is right outside our door because I heard them talking(loudly) by our door last night. Much different around here. I'm not hopeful that we'll get to go home today. Not getting my hopes up again. Chad will go home this evening because he has to go to work tomorrow. I can't imagine being here alone. :headache:

Kaleb keeps asking to go to the beach. He's ready to get the heck out of that bed.

MommyP, so sorry to hear about all this, sounds horrible. I hope you all get to go home soon :grouphug:

Cel, glad your party went well. I looked at the PC website, but they don't even give you a hint of what you could buy :confused3 So I don't know if I would even want anything if I went to a party. Not that I am much of a cook anyway.

Moo, lazy Saturday sounds goog! I had some of that myself, although I did do some work.

I am finishing up my pink baby blanket that will probably never see the sight of a baby, LOL. Then I am starting off anew on a blue one. I took it on the trip, but somehow some of the yarn got discoloured, so I am starting a new one. Maybe!

Yesterday I went to mail housing paperwork to DS. It was sent from Texas to California, then here, now I have to send it to Montana. But I couldnt find the frigging FedEx place, grrrr! So now I am taking it tomorrow and mail from LBV after lunch. I'm having lunch with knitfreak and Asst #2 to look at wedding pics

Talked to mom today, she can finally hear again. Guess it just took some cleaning  She was happy to hear all the good news.

Need to finish laundry this afternoon, vacuum, and color hair. EEK. Such a bother!

Oh, almost forgot, I was friends with Pluto on Friday, but not for long :upsidedow
It was a fun and interesting time hearing about all the things entertainers need to learn and do. I though of Hollywood. Like for instance, having to learn how to write in the style of the character, not just the signature, but happy birthday, etc. And princesses have to sign while holding arms up and smiling and talking, and some like Pluto have to sign without being able to see.

And I learned that FAT PENS are NOT desired. Just regular ones. please. Sharpies are best.
We learned how to walk as female vs male and other stuff, it was fun.

Signed,
Your friend who is good friends with Pluto

PS: Where are Sandy and Mony??????

PPS: Mel Happy Haunt finally resurfaced on GB's trippie:

Mommy P-- Hope Kaleb gets sprung soon. I used to volunteer at the hospital when I was a teenager and could believe how many parents left there babies alone and crying. :sad2:

Celery-- glad to hear your party was a sucess. What did you get from it? What is Hayden going to be for Halloween , was it at least something easy to sew?

Moo-- suppose to warm up this week, I will wait and see last week was suppose to be warm too but it was freezing.

Marita-- of course your friend with Pluto! :goodvibes My penmanship wouldn't pass to be any character...I love how Cinderella and Belle sign there names. Glad you got to finally talk to your mom. When does your hubby get home?

Well I am off to do Power Hour again this morning at the school. It was too rainy and cold on Friday so they cancelled it. Today is on the cool side but sunny.

We got home yesterday. But I'm afraid we're going to end up back in the hospital soon. I took him to the Dr. today because he was complaining of his back hurting him. We went to the hospital for x-rays, which came back the same. It hasn't gotten any worse. As the day has gone on his breathing as worsened. It's not as bad as it was when he was admitted, but it's not good. He says his belly also hurts, which it did back when he was admitted. No fever and he has a good appetite.

Jeremiah has an earache. So if I'm not in the hospital with Kaleb already I'll be taking him to the pediatrician tomorrow. This wouldn't be so hard if I wasn't nursing a baby right now. I just want to cry at the thought of being away from her and Isaac again.

MommyP, :grouphug: That doesn't sound good at all. At least you are home for now, I hope it stays that way!

Nab, hope you didn't freeze during power hour, brrr. DH got home this evening, DS reports to work tomorrow. He has several more weeks of training to get oriented to his base-specific stuff. He is still waiting for his phone that was supposed to be overnighted Thursday, GRRR. He had to get a new one because Montana doesn't have his service. It;s also very expensive, so he is just getting a plain phone, not one with all those fancy internet apps. I hate not having a phone number to call him right now. :guilty:

nab - she's going as a dead beauty queen. :sad2:
I put the pics of her as a live beauty queen on facebook.
I also put some random shots of my trip on there.

I'm hoping Hayden's mom will let her wear the dress in a pageant or two. she did such a good job and I'm thinking if they announce that she made the dress she's wearing, it will increase her chances of placing.

I personally think pageants are d.u.m.b., but she likes them.
Camden asked her yesterday why she does them. "All you have to do is look pretty. it's boring." He's a smart kid.

I forgot to mention I had lunch with Knitfreak and Asst #2 today, finally. KF brought the wedding pics. She looked beautiful, white dress with long train, knitted chuppah (sp?) canopy made by her friends, knitted shawl for all females in the wedding party. Beautiful September day in upstate NY. Wedding was in her mom's apple orchard back yard. They first met in person a year ago last Sunday! Sorry I dont have any pics to post.

They had a couple of minor snags, one she mentioned was that someone needed the stovetop and put the chicken for dinner in the oven, and then whoever forgot to turn the oven on, so at dinner time, the chicken was raw!! But someone thought to put it on the grill, so with some minor delay, dinner was served.

They are working on a baby now! :cloud9:

Wow, Marita (or should I say friend of Pluto!), Knitfreak sure didn't let any grass grow under her feet, did she?! Glad to hear your hubby is home and hope DS gets his phone SOON!!!

MommyP - Sorry to hear Kaleb wasn't doing as well as hoped once he was sprung :grouphug: Sending good thoughts your way.

Nabbie - It wasn't too bad here today. I get to get out of my cubicle for a meeting tomorrow, so I hope we have a nice day to travel (only a one hour drive). I think the rain has knocked a lot of leaves off the trees though.

Cel - Loved your pics over on FB! Hayden did a very nice job on her dress!

My big news today - hubby called this afternoon to say that he thought he found a new car he liked with a pretty decent deal and was seriously thinking about getting it :scared1: He's been looking for a while but it kind of caught me by surprise! He took the afternoon off to go to a dealership to check it out and ended up driving it home. It's a black Dodge Charger with a Hemi engine. When we first met back in 1976 he had a black Dodge Charger! It's pretty suh-weet! We went for a ride to the grocery store when I got home from work. I'm looking forward to getting a better look at it when it's light out.

But . . . that may not happen for a couple days. The older brother of one of my bosses (who I'm pretty good friends with) passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. They're still trying to figure out whether it was a heart attack or something else. I'm going with some of my friends from work to take some food over to her house tomorrow evening, then we'll probably be going to the visitation the next night. Please send up some prayers for her and her family. Her brother had some developmental disabilities, but he was a really good guy.

Mommy P-- your having a rough week with the boys. Prayers for everyone to get healthy again.

Hannah is home sick today. She hasn't really been feeling okay since Sunday. Saying she was tired but no fever or any other symptoms. Last night she throw up, headache and has a fever. This all scars me because of that darn swine flu. A 13 year old boy and a nine year old girl died this weekend. With little to no flu symptoms. :sad2: She is upset because they were having a Halloween party at Guides tonight and she can't go. I just hope she is better for Halloween day. Plus my Christmas pics are that day too.

Moo-- that is a nice car...I like the Charger over the new Camero they have out right now. Prayers for your bosses family.

Marita-- Hope your son gets a phone soon even it was a land line so you can stay in touch.

Celery-- I saw your pictures this morning. Hayden is adorable. Nice to see pics of you too.

Nab, scary about those kids dieing :sad1: Hopefully Hannah will be fine soon. I think people just get scared with all the hype a lot of times.

Not much to report here today, busy day at work, but not too stressful (keep fingers crossed), a lot more very busy days ahead. Got the pics from my character experience today, my friend Plute was not striking a very convincing posture, LOL.

Tomorrow is another Dr. appt, hopefully I will finally get clearance for the surgery. I plan to beg!! Got home today and glanced at the kitchen sink and thought I saw a big turkey defrosting there. I was almost ready to ask DH why the heck he bought a turkey when I realized it was 2 plates sitting in the rack! :rolleyes1

Tomorow I have a lunch meeting at Panera Bread, YUM!!! Broccoli-Cheese soup and French Bread, here I come!!!!!!!!!1

I know that when I had my eye surgery for cataracts I looked up the street with the eye they did (next day) and omg the house I thought was beige was actually WHITE......I said oh good grief......all the shades were off. Its like a whole new world

Pumba, keep your fingers crossed for me that I get clearance from the Dr. soon!

Fingers crossed for you to get your clearance tomorrow, Marita. Hopefully you'll have fantastic results like Pumba!!!!! Do we get to see a photo of your friend, Pluto??!

Nabbie - Sorry to hear that Hannah is sick. Hope she feels better soon  I sure hope MommyP's boys are doing better today. I just read on FB that Mony's son came down with the seasonal flu today.

Thanks for the prayers for my boss. I stopped over after work tonight to drop off food (from my project team which she works closely with) and we had a nice chat. She found out today that her brother had a stroke. She was doing pretty well this evening. I didn't stay too long because I had to get to my workout. I picked up a box of Godiva truffles for her because goog chocolate makes ANYthing better!

Moo, tried to post a pic, but I can't get it to go. Just a pic of Pluto, Chip, Dale, Mickey and Eeyore. Just look at any trip report, LOL

It's not the same and you kinow it!

Did you all get to be around guests or just goof off behind scenes?

Panera! yum!
There's one right across from my hotel.
but I'm doing liquids only this week to get rid of the pampered chef weight. :headache:
No pink ribbon bagels for me this week.

It is pouring outside and now I have both kids home with fevers. :sad2:

Nicholas is not as bad as Hannah's but never less he is home. He is mad because I am making him stay in bed like I did with Hannah yesterday. Now he says he wants to go to school. Hoping Hannah's is finally breaking because her temp. was 102 this morning but after advil it is pretty well gone and not come back yet. And she wants to eat. :yay:

Bad week to be sick...with all the Halloween things happening at school, a teen dance on Friday and a birthday party to go to on Saturday with the Halloween theme. Hope they get better in the next few days.

Worse sceniro would be me getting it too.

Marita-- I really hope your get your clearance today. You need to see!!! Funny about the turkey/plates.

Celery -- your on the road again? I don't know how you do it , I would be eating so much junk food while away.

Moo-- glad to here you are still working out....is it getting any easier? That is one of my down falls for sure to make my self get on the treadmil ,I find alot of excuses. :sad2:

Really sorry to hear about all the sick Moovers kiddos. Hope everyone gets better soon!
