Hi everyone! Sorry about the mystery but I am busy with kids, family (I am still out of town) and my new hobby- trying not to puke. ;) It does indeed look like Eight Is Enough for the Twinkie family.
:):):):):):):):)

.

Congrats, Twinkie!
I'd insert a smiley here, but I dont know which one to use, LOL. Maybe a combination?

:scared:princess:pirate::scared1::wizard:;): :cool1::cloud9: :flower3: :goodvibes

Now I'll have to go shopping for new baby blanket yarn for a blanket that will likely never see the light of day as a finished product, LOL.

Would you prefer white, yellow, green, blue or pink? Or something else? Chances are slim you will actually get it, but I sure am going to work on it, so it IS POSSIBLE!

Congratulations to the Twinkie Family!

Nabbie - I had forgotten that you told me about going to visit your uncle. There should be lots to do in that part of the country. When are you heading off on your trip?

Lil G - Hope you have a wonderful WDW trip! :mickeyjum :goofy: :donald: I sure wish my trip were a little closer.

Congratulations to the Twinkies! So happy for you! How about some details? Been to the doctor yet? Got a due date? C'mon, woman....give us some 411!

My Photobucket shopping excursion yielded only this image:

Do with it what you will. :confused3 :rotfl:

Marita, glad your mom is going to be somewhere she'll be well cared for....but YIKES on the cost of a nursing home! :scared1:

Today was another beautiful day! The kids spent some time in the pool, and playing in the yard. We took them to Cracker Barrel for suppah (their choice), and had an all around lovely day.

Boris and Natasha have recently taken a shine to a family of bunnies who keep visiting our side yard. The 3 bunnies spend several hours each day in our yard, and don't even retreat to the nearby woods when Mojo goes out to do his business. Boris and Natasha have even named these rabbits -- wait for it -- the Fuzzbutts. Bob and Ginger Fuzzbutt and their baby, Sam. I live in a house full of weirdos, I tell you what.

Everybody: !!!

Marita- my grandpa is in a nursing home now... it is hard all the way around. Fortunately I get to see him this summer. Also if you have frequent flyer miles saved up, I have found those useful for emergency travel.

SURE - you have a life!! ;)

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congratulations Twinkie Family!!!!

The puking doesn't sound fun though and vacation no less. How far along are you?

Lynette-- love the twinkie babies. We have a family of three bunnies that live in the neighbour yard but come visit us often in the evening. I will here the yell when they see them out the patio door ....come quick the bunnies are here. I don't run anymore.

Marita- it must be so hard having your mom so far away. I hate mine is 2 hours away.

Sandy--I watched Big Brother, have been reading the feeds at Jokers but still don't know all their names so I get mixed up.

Summer Art camp for Hannah this morning and all week. Nicholas has swimming this week. He is going to miss it this morning because he was asked to alter serve at a funeral this morning. He has never done this before so hope all goes well. Hannah served for the first time yesterday at church because it was only Nicholas again who showed up. The priest told everyone it was her first time and everyone clapped. Didn't think she would do it because she is pretty shy.

Well I am the slacker Mom! I think we're going to have to let dd drop band and pick up chorus instead... sad that... but she gets to decide... So no band camp. We just sit around surf and watch tv - and read books... and knit.

I'm online for Bachelorette Spoilers (tonight will be down to the f-2 they taped Men Tell all on Saturday!) and Big Brother live feeds... :surfweb:

Hey all! Had a blast at the lake.

marita - happy belated birthday!

twinks! congrats!

I think since you and mommyp each are going to have one billion kids, and since I want JUST ONE! you all should take turns farming one kid at a time out to me.
I'll give them back!
I just want them in say 2 month increments.
:rotfl:

Twinkie! What a creative way to tell the gang. lol. I love it. Congrats again! ;o)

I'm soooo sorry I don't check in enough. I will start coming here before I check my DS forums from now on!

Got the crib all set up, made Isaac a quilt and crib skirt. Now just waiting on my stinking changing table. It's taking FOREVER to come in. As soon as I get that and it's all set up I'll take pictures of the room. The baby's crib sits nekkid though until he/she is born and I know what color elephants to get.

BabyN - Loved your Disney pics! Made me want a trip soooooooooooo bad!

My next appointment is on the 22nd, I'm going to ask to be checked if they don't already have plans to do it. I'm really holding out hope for a little bit of an early baby.

Cel - w00t on your fun weekend! I finally got your ressie confirmation and will send it to you soonishly. I don't think they ever sent mine to me :confused3 Guess I'd better check on that.

bbn - I also loved your trip photos! Thanks for sharing them :goodvibes

MommyP - Fingers crossed for your having an early delivery! :thumbsup2

Sandy - I was a slacker mom most summers too, except for a few camp things. Some of that stuff was SO hard to juggle with working full-time.

Nabbie - Busy, busy, busy! How'd Hannah do on her packing?!

Marita - Hope you're not working super late again

Marita - Hope you're not working super late again

Moo, not working late tonight. I have arrived at a stage where I absolutely NOTHING to do, as my predecessor said. Feast or famine. I was working today on a project to make the future easier, but nothing I had to do, something I decided on my own I had no assignment at all today:confused3 I can't even Dis from work, LOL.

Tired tonight, I think I'll go to bed

Mommy P-- Glad you have the baby's room almost done. You can change diapers anywhere....don't tell the CB that though. Hope you go early so we find out what your having.

Babynurse-- love the pictures thanks for sharing so many. You and your dd look so much a like.

Sandy--prayers for your friend. Were you yelling at your TV last night when Jillian let Reid go! I used to like Ed but not much since he came back.

Moo-- I know I feel some days I am driving in circles. Today is swimming for Nicholas, camp for Hannah , and then baseball tonight. Plus we are camping on the weekend so I have to start getting ready for that. Your dd is coming home this week right?

Celery-- hope some day you find Mr right and have a billion kids too. Your young.

Kay if your still reading with us HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I only have -5 seconds to be on here, but I just wanted to post before I disappear for awhile. First of all....

CONGRATS, TWINKIE!!!!!!
:cool1:

Last night was my last night at work. It was bittersweet. I'm really going to miss everyone! Aside from the college program people, hopefully they'll all be back next summer. We went out to dinner, etc. after work and I didn't get home till about 3. :rolleyes1 It was a fun night with only a few tears!

Right now I need to head to the Pop Century! My little sister, friend, and cousin just flew in this morning. I just got a text that they're on the magical express so I need to get my butt moving! We're staying there for 3 nights then heading to my parents beach house. Tonight is Boma! Idk how long we'll stay at the beach. Probably about 2 weeks but there's no set plan. I won't really have internet till after that. Y'all behave!

:grouphug:

Kay if your still reading with us HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Wow, thanks! I have not been checking in, I confess, but today I thought I would take a peek for old times sake. I feel guilty for not having time to keep up with this thread, but I do think of you all frequently and wish you well. What a pleasant surprise to see I have not been forgotten. :lovestruc

In my brief scan of the current news, I see I must send my sympathies to Sis. It sounds like your mom is not doing very well these days, Marita, and I am sorry to hear that news. Also, belated happy birthday wishes. I hope you had a great day!

And congratulations are in order for Twinkie?! :goodvibes I hope you get over the puking stage quickly.

Wow Kay! How nice to see you! How have you been???

Peej - Have fun! Don't worry I won't have the baby while you're gone. ;)

I am soooooo tired again today. I can hardly keep my eyes open. But I can't give in to it. I did yesterday and I didn't sleep well last night because of it. Ugh.

Kay!!!!! So glad you seen your birthday wish. Are you a step- grandmother yet?

Mommy P-- I thought you nested and cleaned just before the baby comes. Sorry your so tired, is the heat that is making you tired or all the boys?

We have been having really pleasant weather lately. Not to hot, kind of cool in the morning but I can live with that. They said on the news it is Sept. weather. The breeze is really good today, the sun is shining.... I hung my wash out again.

Yes, we are grandparents. Savannah is 10 months old now. The father isn't in the picture much as Kristin moved back in with Lowell's exwife, but they see each other for dates now and then. All three kids (18, 20, and 22) and now the grandbaby are living with Lowell's ex, saving their money ;).

I am back to working for my old company on an as-need basis. I just bill them for the work I do. Lowell has been pulling most of the weight financially, and so far it's been OK that I am sometimes not working at all, and sometimes working part time.

It's hard to believe summer's half over. We planned a mini-vacation over Labor Day weekend, staying Club Level at the Poly. The first week in Novemember we're doing a week at Virginia Beach, hopefully inviting a couple friends along who live out of state. We'll have a two bedroom condo, so plenty of room for all of us. I never get tired of traveling! :cool1:

Nab - Not sure what's got me so tired. I think it has to do with lack of exercise. I'm too big and sore too even take a walk. I can't wait for baby to come so I can move around again.
