morning Mooovers,

I hope you all are doing well this fine EARLY morning. It feels so goog to be the first one chewing on the finest grass, mmmmm .However, this mooer is going to have to take a hiatus again. This time for personal reasons. My beloved dh has been released from his job. I need some time to focus more on him in love, support, and possibly finding a job temporarily. Heck out of this wonderful deal we've been given, we're going to take a vacation while we can. Please, if you all could, keep us in your thoughts and prayer as our family goes though this wonderful new phase God has given us. We'll be fine for a while w/ dh's compensation, but hope that he'll find new employment soonish.

Marita that memory of being there when they opened Epcot is so fantastic......I loved reading about it.....and I appreciate you missing me .....Yah I was down in the dumps too.....must be the stinking weather.....we got another snowstorm over the last storm and I miss the sun shining in the morning......

Megara kept us up three nights in a row with gas.....yes you read it right GAS..not the stinky stuff but the noisey stuff......it scared her so much she could not rest.....it was one after another.....so sleepless nights for hubby and myself......we were going to take her to the vet for that but Tuesday morning she was fine and has slept since then all night long......which hubby and I appreciate....its like having a baby up every few hours to be fed or changed.

Hope you all are well and I did miss you ......I read up on the boards when I got around to it..

..so "seeing".....this evidence....& me being a guy..in the delivery rooms,
placed me..in close contact..with the dads, ...soooo?

..the "presentation"....i selected..to drive...this fact of life home? there
are only 2 types..of people...that every child...must interact...with,
male & females...so the father.....can provide....great influences..to
learn by..if only...by doing one thing......."pARTICIPATION".

nor did i make..up the real rules...to a "wonderful life"....but they are
easy..to "see"....feel,~hold, "ears~even sweet nuthing, ....and of course,
..what our great friend...."in the cracker buisnesses"..so profoundly..reminds
..us , by giving/sharing..his daily breads/dounuts......life smells!

..kno this..even with all our advance...sensory systems....it comes
down...to these 3 outcomes..for any behaviors..we chose....no matter
what....others..imagined....mr disney., , you lil'pioneer,


....all..choices= a yielding process...of....something we gain or
desire./..or somthing..we loss , or yuk- [ castor oil],
don't desire....or... results..in veeing neutral..or spoilage.

no if i was in charge....it is self evidnet..the tweaking...we need
to be doing...toward "protecting...our country future..for all
the generations..we are giving birth....& those needs.....are easy
to see..hearing how many are lsoing work....doesn't not in any
ways...removes..their potential/values..that our country needs...

...nor is it rocket scientist...so, i soooo ..of the lack
of action/s...legally..alot greedy...people..with ,self interests...
to a fault.........need legal actions.....to restore...the damages..they
have done...by going after......all the monies..they have stolen,
and removed them!

oh, mp..it's a mote point...as it is self vident....you're a whole
family...was the inspirational....i'm quite sure, that mr. disney
built...the empire...for all time, carrying the torch....making the magic..
..*i always get a "kick"..seeing families....that gives..the magic k.,
its.."character".

Babynurse -- sounds like a nice afternoon. Wish we had the Olive Garden still here they all closed up about 10 years ago. Have some bread sticks for me..yum.

it was fun. i definitely had some breadsticks. i kept saying the waiters name whenever he would bring us stuff. "thank you casey. can we have some more breadsticks casey". the other girls said i was making him nervous. idk.

it does tend to throw people off when you use their first name, especially in that kind of a scenario. plus, i'm a smartypants so i might have been ya know acting silly, but he laughed. he even offered to stand there and slowly grate the cheese over my salad so i would have an even amount of cheese the whole time i ate the salad.

whelp, the bad thing is he dropped my manicotti. all over my friend, kendra's, purse. a coach purse. he apologized all over himself. she was really nice about it, the manager came out. he offered to replace it. and tasha said "i bet he doesnt know it was a coach or he wouldnt have offered to replace it." lol.

anyway, i got my meal for free. cuz i had to wait extra long for it. AND the manager gave ALL of us free dessert. so yes, we did make a spectacle, but i scored a free lunch with italian sweets out of it, so woohoo!!!!

kendra will probably never call them back about her purse though. that's just the way she is. she'll let it go. such a laid back gal. kinda like me. hee.

Well, so the news of the day (actually 2):

1) We were told today there will be layoffs, no voluntary packages offered

I went to the Finance meeting, where the VP talked over an hour, mostly talking about the new org structure. He briefly mentioned the end that there would be layoffs as they eliminate redundacies. He talked for over an hour.

Then I went to the same sort of meeting held by the Hotel GM, who said little about the reorg, but said this was serious stuff, there will be layoffs for management and Office and technical workers, and they would happen in the next few weeks. No details on targets or what the deals might look like, he didnt know. He was done in 10 minutes.

DH went to a meeting where they were told specifically that there would be layoffs in HIS division (Horticulture and Engineering). Now I know there are not redundancies between here and Disneyland and Paris and Hongkong, you can't manage landscaping maintenance thousands of miles away. Again, no details are known.

2) Second bad news of the day
Apparently my director stopped by a couple of times when I was not in the office and found out about my sweet office hours. He wants me to be in the office 8 hours a day I dont know how I am going to handle that....

I meant to say yesterpage that according to the birth order books your little sister is in a category they (not me!) labeled Baby Princess. Especially for girls born more than 5 years after their siblings who have no younger siblings. Apparently they have characteristics of Only Children (which are alot like first borns) and Babies Of the Family kind of mixed together. They tend to be more responsible and family oriented than other babies of the family. However they see their role in the family as kind of the glue that holds the family together and they take this role seriously. They kind of expect to be the center of attention and are not above shifting the focus back to them (positively or negatively) if they think it will help unite the family. They have a keen sense of responsiblity but they often cover it a happy go lucky exterior and pretend to be peer oriented or social butterflyish if they feel that others in the family expect them to act that way. They tend to be sucessful and secure but are often confused when the rest of world doesn't give them the praise and attention they found in their early childhood family. Again, I don't know your sister at all but I am just quoting the book.

Twink - This description fits my little sis pretty well, but there is a 6 year gap between her and my brother and I'm 12 years older than her.

Marita!!! - I sure hope they take the work you do at home into account If you have to start being in the office 8 hours, hopefully you can cut back on the evening work. You should get your eye issue taken care of soon. Maybe that will help with the driving in the dark.

MommyP - I'd bet there have been some births at Disney too.

The figures you quoted for joining a union sound awfully high to me. I essentially have no choice about being in a union. I should go calculate my percentage, but I think it is a much lower monthly cost. Where I work, they take almost the same deductions from your paycheck whether you pay union dues or not. I figure I might as well pay a bit more and be able to vote. Being a government worker, though - we are not allowed to go on strike. The only benefit is having some representation in the event of a grievance. And a small amount of clout when it comes to negotiating our contracts for pay, benefits, etc.

bbn - I had my free food from last night due to being given the wrong order for lunch today. It wasn't too bad (chicken rice bowl), but I don't think I would have ordered it myself. Now I'm going to go have the other wrong meal . . . steak with garlic mashed taters and veggies

On the topic of office hours, I am hoping to plead life/work balance, since DH goes to bed at 5 pm and I dont get home till 4.
And supposedly Disney is big on that subject. Maybe I squeeze an hour a day out of that

I didn't think my boss represented the extent of my work form home hours well, but I did not want to persue that today.

I sat here a few moments ago bawling like a baby......that Extreme house Makeover......it really got to me...they were all crying and the family were all crying and there sat me crying.......it is something else what these people do for others (and tv ratings I am sure)....but it is just beautiful...

Thanks for asking, Peej! I successfully convinced the DH that I should take advantage of CBM's small-biz discount, so I placed the order today. It's a Dell Inspiron, and it's scheduled to ship on March 9. And, because I NEVAH pay retail , I got it for $499 plus $79 cash back. w00t!

Marita, sorry to hear about your work woes! Perhaps you could get your primary care doc to provide you with a medical note confirming that your eyesight is not good at night, thereby validating your need to leave the office early?


We saw our accountant today to have our taxes done. Thankfully, we are getting a smallish refund (Not complaining! It's less than last year, b/c we made more $$. That's certainly no reason to squawk!) Like Marita, we are of the mind that if you are getting a big return when you file, it's because you're having too much $$ taken out during the year.


Moo, a chicken rice bowl sounds meh, but steak with garlic mashed and veggies is right up my alley! Delish!
