I'm trying to spend more time in my bible. At night I do my normal commentary/bible reading of the new testament, but I decided a good way to start the day is to flip to the poetry section and read a section from psalms or proverbs (or song of solomon if I'm feeling frisky!)

Anyway, today's verse had me rolling!

Here's my contribution to today's quote:

A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day; restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand. (Proverbs 27:15-16)



There's so much humor/truth in the bible. I really hate it when Christians don't realize that!

Shouldn't I be accomplishing something with this unexpected day off? I feel like I'm being a slacker. I really can't think of anything to do. I guess I need to modify this week's lesson plans. That sounds thrilling. Not at all.

Well, it's okay, though. I really don't like driving in the snow. During the days at the end of the year we can be outside playing and doing fun outdoor stuff. During this time of the year, not so much.

That's exciting about Hannah! Let us know what it's for!

He's my work gay boyfriend.
He asked me for tips on WDW today and I told him he's evil for not letting me come. so now I get to come cuz I ride roller coasters and greg doesn't.
so I'm going down there the same time as he and his partner greg.
they're not going to stay on property since he has so many hilton points.
but I'm booked for pop.

I need someone to go with me.
$500 for 7 nights, tickets included.

Celery--. Hope it isn't when our March break is . Could be busy. ( March 14th-21st) My sister is going the week before our break.

P.J.-- Hannah got her award for the Virtue of the Month ....... Responsibility. She was pretty surprised and happy.

Nicholas is snowboarding tonight so it is Hannah and I for supper. I told her she could pick what we are having. My guess is pancakes. She isn't one for meat.

The Cast:

Celery: Confused. 20 something? Hardworking, loves all things Disney.

BDG: Not confused in the slightest. Not even one bit. Not for a second. NEVER. No way, no how. Nu Uh. Nope. 40 something. Not hardworking. Loves some things Disney.

Day One:

I arrive in Orlando and a buddy picks me up at the airport and drives me to Bonnet Creek. I try to check in but the place is boarded up. Apparently the economy hit this resort the hardest and all people holding time shares there are now being shipped over to POP. I call a cab and arrive at POP Century 45 minutes late. Celery is waiting for me in the lobby and looks positively radiant. Or is that mad?

Cel: WTH have you been. We are late for our dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's.
BDG: (mad, NOT radiant) Uhhh.
Cel: What do you mean "uhhh"?
BDG: Uhhh.
Cel: Uhhh what?
BDG: Hi Cel. Nice to finally meet you. How did you know it was me?
Cel: Silly, I hacked into your Photobucket Account. All the girls have done it.
BDG: Oh.
Cel: Now, uhhhh what?
BDG: Uhhhh I didn't get reservations at Chef Mickey's. So it doesn't matter if we are late.
Cel: WHAAAAT? You told me you had a "source" who could get you a reservation without a problem.
BDG: I thought she could. But,
Cel: But, but what?
BDG: But she wouldn't.
Cel: Oh.
BDG: Celery? Can I ask you a question?
Cel: You just did.
BDG: Do you THINK we are married just because you scored the room?
Cel: Shut up BDG.
BDG: Ok. Let's go to Ohana's the food is better and so are receptionists. Much nicer. Ha.
Cel: Ok.

The dinner was great and went off without a hitch. The receptionists were nicer and found us a table without a problem. We lucked out and landed a window table so we were able to watch the fireworks as we finished our dessert. What a great evening.

When we returned to POP I was relieved to find that the room was clean and had two beds. It was a little awkward at first and I couldn't get to sleep because Celery snored so loudly. After I put the ear plugs in I fell right asleep. Good thing too because we are going to Magic Kingdom tomorrow. I have to get up real early to get that extra Magic Hour reserved only for on-site guests. Hey, I sure hope Celery remembered to set the alarm.

Day 2 tomorrow. Or sometime. I promise I will complete this faster than BBN completed hers. Of course since she took over a year I should have plenty of leeway. Ha.

PJ: wow. a veritable posting frenzy. i was on the edge of my seat reading each and every post.

bdg: have fun on your disney vacation. you, celery, and two gay guys. sounds right up your alley? maybe you could spring for Goofy hats for the whole crew. you could match, but not matchy match.

Nab: that's great about Hannah.

I tried to take a quick nap, b/c I'm supposed to go into work for a few hours tonight and I will be driving home at 3 a.m. I thought being extra rested would be beneficial seeing as how we are supposed to be smack dab in the middle of an ice storm at 3 a.m.

However, my little guys decided they need to "discuss" LOUDLY who knew more Sunday School songs and why that made them the better person. A physical altercation may have followed. I needed to explain to them that perhaps God doesnt necessarily care who is Sunday School champ (it was Gigantor btw) but maybe He cares more about getting along, brotherly love, and obeying your parents (i.e. if you guys get into a fight while I'm trying to take a nap, you are SOOOOOOOOO in for "It". heh)

As I'm walking away I hear Red whisper to Gigantor "God loves me more, idiot!"

Now what do I do?

I tell him God loves him so much that He wants him to be grounded from video games, t.v., and computers and spend time up in his room talking to God about how much he loves him. ha.

I was feeling kinda bad that I quoted when you said dont quote, but since you just poked fun at my own "FINISHED" trip report, I no longer feel any remorse. lol Hopefully, everybody can take a joke as good as me.

It was very funny B. heh. heh. Even funnier if I picture you actually meeting celery. Somehow I think there would be more drooling.

its me again..I think.......Ava was a good baby today but my back is killing me.......picking her up and carrying her around hurt me ..you know I am old.

Tomorrow we are in the 10 to 18 inch area........Did I mention that I hate snow....maybe....I hate it

tomorrow is another day and another day with Ava......and probably some other kiddos.......snow day in maine...
