HEY GUYS!!!

Kellogg's recalls more peanut butter products - Yahoo! News

Very Popular cookies and crackers recalled!

The nationwide salmonella outbreak has sickened hundreds of people in 43 states and killed at least six.
"The actions we are taking today are in keeping with our more than 100-year commitment to providing consumers with safe, high-quality products," said David Mackay, Kellogg's president and CEO. "We apologize for this unfortunate situation."
The recall includes Austin and Keebler branded Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers, as well as some snack-size packs of Famous Amos Peanut Butter Cookies and Keebler Soft Batch Homestyle Peanut Butter Cookies.

So always since about the turn of the century? Now we know why you want so many. So you can keep the house warm.

Hardy har har. ;) They aren't ALWAYS a baby. When they are little they can't cover themselves up and get cold. I like the cold. Even when the heat is on our bedroom windows are usualy open since our room is across the house from the thermostat. :thumbsup2

First off everyone.

GOOD MORNING ....

http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/

this is the website for the wellness dog food, it is all natural and actually cost was less then the crap we got from the vets office. It is veggies and fruits and the right grains that wont cause most allergies in animals.....we are MOST pleased. We had her at the vets last night for an anal express. It is disgusting .......one of the techs that knows our gd cause she works there too on college vacations. Well she had another person claim the same thing. Increase itching and because they itch they make little boo boos (can you tell I still care for kiddos) Megara has not had any issues, well besides an occasional itch...we have been using it for four weeks. Now she is on the weight management one cause she could be (again) a chunky monkey.

We purchased this dog food at Pet Quarters. Petco I heard was about 4.00 more a bag. But check around using your fingers and calling. Saves gas ..

Another great announcement. Today is a heat wave. it is minus 10....I can feel it in my bones.....well not really but it will be nice to be warmer.

Monday we go and see another property up north in Gods Country. This is alot better condition then the first dump we looked at. Hopefully the photos were taking recently and not years ago. these are peoples foreclosures ..makes me feel bad that people had to give them up....

have a good Saturday everyone

sandy .....we will keep your son and your family in our prayers......this group of people here will keep you surrounded by love......just close your eyes and we will be there..

Praying for sandy and her son. :grouphug:

Thanks for the wellness info, pumba! I'll check it out.

She looks older now to me:sad:

Mony, she looks very cute! :thumbsup2

That had to be some weight off her head.

I just made Chicken Fricassee. Havent made that in years. I had to look up the recipe.
Called the nail place today to see if they are open on Monday, and they are, so I successfully postponed the nail torture for 2 more days....

Very cute, Mony!!! That was quite a change but Mal looked happy about it. Are you donating her hair to Locks of Love or something?

It's somewhat warmer here today, but we're getting more snow. Hubby bought one of those high-tech infrared space heaters that has a case that doesn't get hot. It's pretty toasty in here for a change.

Pumba - Goog luck on Monday. Hope you're able to find a hunting place. I'm about ready to start pricing houses in Florida! ;)

Marita - I don't think I've ever had chicken frickasee before. Hmm, maybe I'll see what's in it. I bought some dried beans and split peas, etc. a while ago to make some soup but I still need to buy a ham before I can make it. Wish I'd thought to get a ham bone at Heavenly Ham this week. I think I might be in for the weekend if the snow keeps up.

Moo, fricassee is easy. Boil 1 1/2 lbs of chicken breast with skin on and bones (you want the skin to flavor the liquid) in salted water till done. ( I use a pressure cooker, 15 minutes)
Make a roux with butter and flour,(equal parts, 4 tbsp) add some liquid from boiling the chicken to make it thickish, some salt, lemon juice and a couple of beaten up egg yolks and a couple of cans of mushrooms. The egg yolks make it really more creamy.
Serve over rice. It's really good

PS: YAY folr the toasty space heater!!!!!!!!

Pumba, good luck on the cabin hunt from me too.

She is donating it to locks of love. I'm gonna go print the form out now and mail it tomorrow. We kept the hair in the ponytail like instructed from the web site and put it in a plastic zip lock. All thats left is the form and mailing it. Really simple. I think I remember reading it takes about 8 of those ponys to create one wig.

I have a ham in my freezer my mom caught a sale and bought several.

The snow is burying us in, and the drifts. Driving was incredible today. The snow is up to the back door about half way up. You can't see the front porch step.

Sandy many thoughts and prayers for you, your son, and family. Gosh I wish I could be there for you.

Mony, how nice to donate to locks of love. Does Mal understand this?

I just saw a new commercial for haircolor for men. Touch of Gray. Colors most of the hair, but leaves the temples gray, to imply energy but with experience. What will they think of next?

Mony, we just went through the same thing:

She informed me "that sometimes you just have to grow up and cut your hair."

Mony and Steph - What a great thing for your girls to do! So grown up for their ages :goodvibes

Mony, I debated less than a minute about going out to pick up some food and DVDs. I'm pretty happy to figure out something for dinner and just let my car sit in the garage today.

Sounds like a goog plan Moo! I almost got my mind made up to got get nails done at 5:30, but then it would be dark by the time I'd get home. So no go! I cant imagine going out in that awful cold (yours, not mine). I brought home some creamy Herb cheese from Germany that you cant get here. And hubby bought french bread that we didn't eat with the chicken livers. So I think I will have a snack of herb cheese on french bread toasted in the oven. :)

or take a nap

or both

Good choice, stay put, I saw so many cars spun out today, facing oncoming traffic on the freeway, accidents, it was just madness.
