I'm pretty sure she understands.

Good choice, stay put, I saw so many cars spun out today, facing oncoming traffic on the freeway, accidents, it was just madness.

Good for Mal, Yikes for the accidents. I didnt leave the house today.

I need to find a substitute for the herb cheese. Its soooooo goood

OK, on the package it says ingredients are "Molke what????????????),cheese, butter and other sftuff i dont understand and herbs WHAT herbs? How am I supposed to find a substitute if I dont know which herbs to look for. And I am a native German!
Maybe this is a ploy by an airline to go back home?

Again, thank you for the prayers and good thoughts - please keep them coming, its such a comfort to come in hear and read the posts - I need some "normalcy" and I need {{hugs}}

Mony awww how sweet

Marita please send me some fricasse!! I'm so hungry!

Moo Mony Is it snowing up there? Its about 14 deg warmer today than Thurs!!

I'm so out of touch with the real world!

We get free bkfst and I load up and munch on the leftovers... its so expensive, I'm nearly out of money - we have to go home to put dh's check in the bank!!

We were only supposed to be here one day... Thurs night, leave Fri...

Today he seemed SO MUCH BETTER than last night. We're not sure if its a "false" sense of "better' He just wants to "get out of here" we concur! He got a CT scan, now we have to see if they'll let him wear clothes... its just so wrong that they wouldnt give him his underwear - we had to ask 4 times!!

Sandy- I hope you get a diagnosis soon. I know how hard it is to have a loved one in the hospital.

naughty?..twinkle...i have no idea...*must be mr. wt's corruptions?

That seems like a sound hypothesis.

Hardy har har.

I laughed out loud at DTD's comments too.

Look what we did today:

She looks older now to me:sad:

I know!!! I hate buying new shoes when the kids are little because they instantly look older. However her haircut is adorable!!! And how sweet to donate to Locks of Love. Java- thanks to the link to your DD's pix. She has such a sweet smile.

Nip/Tuck fans: I watched. And posted.

Sandy, you are lucky, I have leftover fricassee safely stored away. Sending it to you now!
Glad your son seems to be better.

Continuing to send prayers and pixie dust for your family! :grouphug: pixiedust:

See? All it takes is a little marketing to make it all good!

Sandy - Glad to hear things seem to be getting better :grouphug:

It was definitely warmer here today. Not sure how much snow we got, maybe a couple inches. I turned up the temp on the hot tub and gave it a try tonight. It wasn't too awful getting in and out, but I didn't waste any time getting back into the house! Good thing it's only a few feet from the door. I hadn't been in for a couple weeks due to the cold.

Marita - You should try the Alouette or Boursin garlic and herbs cheese spread. They're both pretty yummy on crackers, French bread, pita chips, or even tortilla chips. It goes great with white wine ;)

Twink naughty? Harumph! :p

Sandy - Just got your text. You know I'll be praying. Funny thing, I thought about you on Friday as I left work. I said a little prayer for you then. God knew you needed it, and placed you in my heart so that I would know. Of course, I prayed to give you the strength for the next week leading up to the wedding. I had NO idea that it would be for your other son. We LOVE you! :grouphug:

Moo, hot tub in January in Michigan???? You are a brave lady!!! Or Crazy! :confused3

I love Boursin. It's just different flavor. I might try it on toast though and see how it goes. Or the Aloutte one. We just dont have French bread around all that often.

Marita, the trick is to increase the temp a couple degrees higher than you normally have the hot tub at.

Some people even heat their robes/towels in the dryer and store them in an cooler to keep them warm for when they get out, but it's not worth the bother for me since ours is just outside the back door.

They store them in a cooler to keep them warm? Oh wait, I may get it..........

Yes, they also hold a warm temperature. Kind of like taking soup to school in one of those plastic thermoses . . .

I can't see where my step and porch have a gap. I see 4 foot high drifts all over the place. It's still snowing!!!!!

I don't have a large porch, but it can hold a few chairs on each side, but right now it's totally covered in snow. I even have an overhang.

On my facebook page, all my local friends are complaining about all this snow.

Someone just knocked on my door at 10:46pm asking us if we wanted our driveway shoveled.

Huh?

1. Is it too late or too early to have your driveway shoveled? Or you dont want any at all?

2. I have repeatedly posted about my lack of memory  Lexi never reminds me to get Ginko Biloba.

If it's still snowing, our driveways will just drift back over during the night.
One of the joys of living here.

We have been very lucky to have had several fairly mild winters before this year.

I havent seen snow in almost 40 years. Sounds so pretty from far away. But I remember needing jump starts for the car when I was 18 from my brothers people and sliding on icy roads. NOT fun.

tomorrow Tim and the boys will shovel/snow plow everything.

It's just still coming down, since 11 am.

I can send you some, if I remember.:rotfl:

I'll take pics tomorrow for you.

I'm sure you'll say, "That's exactly why I'm here in sunny Florida sipping wine with my laptop on my couch.

Something like that:upsidedow

Oh, good night good people. (As my father would say.)
