I asked him how he would like it if I came to his house and broke one of the new toys santa brought him. He thought it over for a few minutes and I was involved with another nice kind and respectful child and he comes up to us and cocks his head and in his best chicken neck imitation and he yells with his non inside voice: (read this as if a 3 year old is speaking) YoU NOT COME TO MY HOUSE MAKA (that's me). My cousin saw Wicked and said, it started out slow, but once it got moving it was great.


So DH had a small discussion about going on an adults only vacation. Maybe that's why I'm in a good mood. If he's offering, it will be definite. I know him. My mom who was present even talked like she'd watch the kids.

Monica...yay for feeling happy! Sorry about that little kid. One of my kids told another one today he was going to "stick a pistol in his astarstar." Cept he used a different word.

My little sister didn't come home with us on Monday. She stayed with Hollywood the past 2 nights and is now meeting up with her class today. The school she goes to (that I went to) has a winter term in January where you go on a trip. I went to an orphanage in Mexico one year, scuba diving in Key Largo one year, and some other things. Anyway, she is staying at the Make A Wish/Give Kids the World place this week and next week and they're doing volunteer work with those kids. I think it is going to be a very good experience for her. I'm not fully certain why I shared that. I guess I've just been thinking about her today since it was the first day of her trip.

peej - I really liked volunteering at give kids the world. She will definitely enjoy it.
I enjoyed it except for the part where I almost passed out cuz I overdid it.
the parks didn't do it to me - but the shift as hot dog passer outer did.
hee.
anyway, it was cool because I got to:
assist with the horse and carriage rides
work the hot dog/sandwich counter
take pizza orders and deliver them in a cool golf cart (I wouldn't drive it though - I just rode along and delivered the pizzas)
sort pillow covers that come into the warehouse

I was supossed to help with the gift baskets, but they didn't need me that day.
I was also supossed to do something else when I had my spell, but I can't remember what.

mony - woo hoo! you guys NEED an adults only trip.

My dad just called me to sing "Happy Birthday" and he was telling about the day I was born and how excited they were to finally have had a baby girl.

AND I know I have told some of y'all this before but they had picked out the name Rebecca until the moment I was born and then he looked at my mom and said "I think she looks like an Elisabeth instead!"

He just asked me if I would like being called "Rebecca" and I said "I think I could get used to it. Heck, I already am." I think I confuzzled him.

My mom always told me that my almost name was Dawn. That sure wouldn't have fit a night owl like me!

Monday night and tonight before I left work, my hubby called to let me know that there was an accident on the same overpass on the freeway on our way home that was backing traffic up I sure hope nobody got badly hurt. I took an alternate route home, but it looked like the road had cleared both nights.

It's unacceptable, really. Not fit for human beings. I am fine with the cold. I have no issues with it. I just put on my big coat and call it a day. I can't take the no sun though. It's getting me down.
