I can't find my cell phone. And my ring tone is kinda of quiet considering it is the pirate theme song. I'll go look for it in a minute. Please don't cry.

And next time you kill a thread, make sure it stays dead. This was a pathetic attempt at thread killing. LYLAT!

did you just call me pathetic? now that's gonna make me cry.

maybe it's time you and i had a "come to Jesus meetin'" and work out all of our problems.:upsidedow

Who the heck let the crazies out here today? Sheesh.
Allow me to read back and ponder my witty, well thought out, ever so interesting post. No comments from the peanut gallery.

The Most Wonderful Day of The Year-not: tomorrow is the last day of school for my darling children....somehow I agreed to spend the day at the first grade festivities  you know the ones where my 3yr old will not get a cupcake or a goodie bag -did you know that here on the prairie the evile goodie bag phenonmenon has spread to class parties?!? I did contribute a non-food item to the Bags OF Crap as a good parent.
Oh my. That must be on the good side of the prairie. I don't think that jump has been made yet here on the poor east side.

You, pathetic? No way. I did not call you pathetic.
I called your attempt at thread killing which resulted in a flurry of posts pathetic. But maybe it more ironic than pathetic?

Nope. That is how you know you are in the real midwest.

More people should follow your lead.

Allie...that's how I felt about being observed today. Cruel and unusual punishment. The woman initially wanted to observe me on Friday and I gave her a flat out no. Friday? Before break? Really? Is she crazy? :confused3

Nab...yes, we have a Christmas concert tomorrow night. Scratch that, "Winter Holidays Celebration." Ah public school. Anyway, today was dress rehearsal, and let me just say it was frightening. I mean...my kids sounded like angels?

Monica...thanks for checking in! Glad to hear Park Fare was a success. :goodvibes

Moo...It worked. Doesn't the castle just look stunning with the Christmas lights?

Marita...ummmmm are you talking about beer pong? Somehow I got lost in that conversation.

Bamboo diapers? Sounds organic.
Is it just me or does it not sound a bit painful as well?

WT...what's an RJ? :confused3

bbn...why do you always have to bring up Canada when you're talking about WT?

Twinkie...how brave of you to voluntarily go into the classroom on a pre break party day. Kudos. Really.

I don't think anyone gets to sleep this week. Those are the rules. So much to do, so little time! I am in the process of making 3 pecan pies even as we speak for various Christmas functions. Bbn, see me soon or one of those won't go to you. Just sayin.

ha. oh the irony. maybe i'll post a pic of my burn from an iron. that would be appropriate, donthchaknow. ha again.

come to Jesus meetins: when somebody is in BIG trouble and you are highly ticked off you tell them "it's time you and i have a come to Jesus meetin". all the cool kids say it.

follow PJ's lead? BWAHAHAHA. thanks for the laugh twinkie.

In the world of normal is this known as an intervention?

1. it's humor b/c he once wrote a trip report about the glories of singing "O Canada". maybe you dont understand humor. or wit. or wt. or anything for that matter.

2. Look, everybody wants me to see them. It is the curse of being me. Plus, I bet you poisoned those pies.

1. Maybe I just see the humor from a different angle than you. Have you ever considered that? Huh? HUH? HAVE YOU???????????
I do fully admit to not understanding WT.

2. Nope. Just the one.

whelp, i have just been informed that we are out of horse feed. which means one of my bbn babies and i will be having a "come to Jesus meetin" about not informing mom of such things sooner.

i am off to TSC aka Tractor Supply Company, b/c they sell horse feed beyond the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. good to know, eh?

it's been real.

glad my thread killing turned into a thread frenzy. gosh that sorta fits right in with the whole turning lemons into lemonad philosophy here at sunnybrook farms. which is currently closed until i find the perfect pancake, in case y'all didnt notice.

buh bye losers, freaks, loserfreaks, and the rest of the gang.

howdy......we got enough snow THANK YOU VERY MUCH...I do not like snow but you already knew that.......hahaha.

One of my ancestors wrote the lyrics or the music part to O'Canada......it is my only name to fame......ROFL.

hubby came home and quickly got rid of the snow that made it into our yard....megara didnt like it much but I was firm and told her to GO AND DO IT ALREADY........gotta love a doggie that has weather related issues....

I made a good chicken stir fry well sort of a stir fry.....used the sauce but not alot of stuff to stir in the fry......do ya understand taht part......hope so....

SO what else is new

I went to DS10's very first violin concert, *cough*. It was...delightful.
Actually, for only having played since the start of school, it was freakin' awesome. I may have had a lump in my throat and watery stuff in my eyes for most of the concert. :cloud9: :lovestruc

Happy Windsday to yous!

Pumba, always good to know how Megara's bathroom visits are going! :rolleyes1

BBN, great job of "unkilling" a thread! :thumbsup2

Wendy, I am sure the concert was lovely. I fondly *cough* remember concerts in years part...

PJ, you never told us what you did in 1981.

Oh wait, you weren't even a twinkle in your daddys' eye yet!
And you actually are BAKING pecan pies? Have you ever head of the grocery store bakery department?

I am getting a professionally baked cherry pie for the Friday office festivities. (I took a sample poll).
Oh, and we are only having ham this year that the company is paying for. Since we are a small department of 8, I guess the choice got cut down to either ham or turkey, and ham won. Which did not make one of the guys happy AT ALL! Oh well!

DD informed us today that she made up a list for everybody's chores to do before the Xmas party. My job is to clean. But she is cleaning out the refridgerator. Good thing, not a thing I enjoy.
She also gave me a rundown of the menu. I think she forgot rolls and gravy, but I didnt think of that till later. She is off to a cookie swap now. That girl loves her some cookies!

Soooo...............how did it go today? Hope you got a glowing report! :cool2:

Wendy - Glad you "survived" the concert!

Oh, and in 1981, I was in 8th grade, doing who knows what, heck I can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago, how am I supposed to remember what I did back then? :rotfl2:
