Update on the Casey Anthony case:

They released some reports today. Apparently little Caylee had duct tape over her mouth covering both sides of her hair, and a heart-shaped sticker put on top of the tape. In the bag with her were some clothes, toys and her favorite Winnie the Pooh blanket. It was all in a white laundry bag that was stuffed into a trash bag.

SO sad!

Marita - I hope your job is safe because you don't seem ready to retire. But if the packages trickle down to your level, maybe they'll make retirement more palatable. Our current governor doesn't seem to believe in early outs like they did around here a few years back under the Republican gov.

I'm not in bed yet, but 'm tired, I had a stressful day and I'm tired. Which should make me wish for early retiredment, but alas, other factors overrule that.
Such as walking a long way to the office from the parking lot past the dumpster every work day. Who wouldn't miss that?

And actually, I think I recall when that last one was. January 2003 or 2004, when my old cars heater stopped working and I worked on a forecast till 1 am and drove home in the freezing weather without heat. That was before working from home.

We woke up to frost covering everything. It's been a LONG time since there has been so much and it lasted this late. The boys have been running in and out of the house barefoot and shirtless. They think it's the coolest thing.

At one point I heard one of them say, "Let's stick our tongues on the concrete and see if it sticks"

Speaking of Riley

Since it was his birthday last night, I decided to let him have a treat. I gave him 5 potato chips (since BBN and Pumba like them, they've got to be good for Riley, right? ).
We go to bed like normal.
Remember I'm in a hotel.
Riley starts licking my face at 2 am.
I pet him and tell him to go to sleep.
He keeps on.
I finally figure out that he needs to go out.
Like NEEEEEEDS to go out.
So I stumble awake.
Stumble to my clothes.
and my boots
and my coat.
turn the light on to find the leash.
wake mamacel up in the process.
I open the door and riley RUNS to the elevator. I get the leash on him.
we make it to the front desk.
oops.
he poopied on the tile right in front of the front desk.
ha.
No more chips for him!

Disney travel called me today to tell me the Dec trip I took THEY made a mistake and I owe them $200.00. No joke.

Can they do that? What the heck?

ETA: Natasha presented me with a homemade birthday card that read: "Happy 12th anniversary of your 29th year!" I even get snark from the kids!!!!
