Quickie post since I have so much to dooooo today.

NAB- you look amazing! and I can't believe how big your kids are. My oldest is about 5 ft 9. I know what you mean about men's clothes- but the worst stage is when their feet are too big for boys and too small for mens. We spent the most on shoes that year since we had to buy them at the pricey athletic store at the mall.

Moo- Last night my mom and I were playing around on the disney site (mainly to prove to ourselves we were getting such a good deal on our trip we couldn't afford not to go ) BUT the computer said there was availabilty
at POP for early dec

I have to take biology too! Not "too" worried about it. The chemistry class I have to take worries me a smidge. Luckily I have a fabulous tutor/ snack food lined up. Not that I'd eat my tutor. ERK!

Last night Breadman and I took my parents out to eat - we were talking about Breadman's neices and how many problems they have - and I started feeling guilty for only saying negative stuff so I said "But his nephew is the best ever! He looks and acts like Nicholas!"

Wendy - You're brave to be contemplating school. I got LOTS of sleep this weekend too, but then I stayed up way late last night and blew the benefit of all that extra rest.

PUMBA!!! - Wow, it seems like your trip snuck right up. Continued prayers for Brielle I can scarcely imagine how difficult all that waiting must be on her family.

It was back-to-school day locally, so there were several of my coworkers having a most wonnerfu day of the year

I took today off to get my hordes of chores and errands done. I just couldn't bear another day of 73 things hanging over my head! Mission(s) accomplished, so I have approximately 2 hours to sit on the couch and do whatever I like! What a great feeling!

I have a prayer request to ask of my favorite prayer warriors.

A woman I used to work with (named Melissa) has had a rough couple of years. Her husband was the Sheriff of our county, but he was forced to resign after a drug scandal - she publicly stood by his side through it all.
Her 22 year old son (a deputy in the Sheriff's office) killed himself this weekend.
She and I aren't close anymore, but just imagining her pain is killing me. I know my mom and grandmother are upset as well since her husband was always there for my great aunt and even sang at her funeral.
Anyway, if you could pray for Melissa and her family, I'd appreciate it.



On a funny note, cherry pies are of the devil!
The mcdonalds between the hotel and the clinic has cherry pies.
and we all know that pies are 2 for a $1.
I might have had two for lunch and two for dinner.

But my penance was 10 minutes on the stair stepper and 6 miles on the bike.

I haven't had one of those McDonald's cherry pies in years.

We had some news from Mari tonight. She has another interview on Monday back near where she went to school I think it is where she worked as an intern last summer. DH talked with her, so I didn't get all the details. No word yet on the job in PA, but she was planning to visit her friends in DC until Sunday. So now she'll be heading down to NC for the interview before coming back home.

Haha! It was the summer before this past one, Cel!!! She is SO glad to be done milking those goats.

Twink - I forgot to mention my experience with trying to get a room for the whole week. Unless they just released some rooms recently, every time I tried to find a room for the first weekend, I was unsuccessful. So I decided to extend my Dolphin reservation for the entire time even though it is more money than I really wanted to spend on a room, just to keep my options open. I'll just have to be sure to make a timely cancellation of my Value ressies, once I know Mari's and cousin's schedules. There's still a chance that I'll go stay with my cousin at her condo for a couple days, so that may change where I fly into or out of.

Congrats on the ticker! The Dolphin sounds really nice from Smidgy's description. I haven't been there since it opened however many years ago, and I can't keep it apart from the Swan (well, except for those enomous things on the roof)

Smidgy, I would have ordered a cognac if I coule have!!!!!!! Or at lest a beer.And I dont drink soda, water is my non-alcoholic beverage of choice. I might have accepted a Sunny D. though
Oh wait, that isnt really non-alcoholic!!! Never mind!

I was planning on ice cream. Dang time crunch that day!!!

But I made up with steak and lobster and wine later that night.

No sheep last year or this year, Marita! Last year was more of a research position, the experience from which helped her out during her PA interview.

The goat/lavender/blueberry farm was this summer.
