I'm really happy that I will have a fixed pension in addition to my now measly 401(k)/457. Newer hires where I work are at the mercy of the stock market because they changed the system a few years ago. The "oldies" who switched over are really kicking themselves now.

DH said today we lost 40% of our 401K. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeing we only had about 2 1/2 years of our annual salary in there before, I can live for about a year now after I retire before I need to kick the bucket

Yes, I pay my hairdresser to color it. I couldn't imagine having to do it all by myself. My hair is just so thick! I think I would look like a skunk if I did it myself.

Good for your DD. Can't say that I would have eaten it. We ate at the restaurant that DS is working at tonight. It was goog! Hot chicken fingers, fries, texas toast and cole slaw. YUMMY!!! My MIL came too. She has been wanting to see him "in action". We were the only ones in there for a while. He seems to be enjoying his job.

Random News:

I tried to re-arrange some dining options for December. Um... no soup for me so Marita I guess your retirement is safe. My mom also was trying to price a room (I have no clue why) and everything she was interested in was booked she said.

My dad's test results came back normal so that is great. One less thing to worry about. My grandpa however is not doing well at all. He fainted today.... we think it is diabetes related but they think it might be another stroke. The one remotely pollyannaish thing about that is now all the family, drs and other medical professionals are on the same page about what should be done next.

Good news about your dad, though!

Glad to hear things are booked at Disney (so far). Still, we are going into savings mode.... Lagging effect in economy, I guess. So I won't get another folding stool for ballgames I don't need for a while. I have 2, free to next visitor to Disney who wants them! You too could feel appreciated for a hard summer's work!

. however, it's very frustrating...to see how far we

advanced...only to forget....all the good/goodie things that
got us here. [ oh, there were/are..very bad behaviors...
needing strong medicine. ~including prevention...oxy...
...more pharmacy robberies/vs. banks...? nothing else needs
to be said~ ] .

interesting..the dynamics..of mental health..spills into the
things....we have control over but we do not exercise "proper
judgments"....mostly how we treat each other. and

...how we progress into our future endeavors....by meeting
the things we hold dearest, how we live life & what we desire
our life to stand for....


hopefully before we pass on. but who's ever ready for death?
sooooooo what is this gift of life? is truly beyond....all our
imaginations..except the one power who created it.

..but boy~ole' girl....it is exciting...to be a part..of infinity..&

the dynamics, herding us into the future , and the blessing...

.."we"....all were given....of "life, to hold & behold...until death,
where our spiritual selves..becomes united with an energy..force.....

..& the "promise"..of new ways of being. feelings, ....are us best
clues..of how important...we can be. have you ever noticed?..no
life..enters this world..without them or the ability..no matter what.


now, of "courses"..i'm leaving gaps and factors..out. but i jus
amazed...how simple.., some very, very, complicated...systems
..do their jobs, including protection.


to me, ....the forces..makeing up our spiritual domain,
..are prohibited to mingle..with our physical existence..meaning,
we have the final say...and can only be influnce instead of control
..and..[ again & again]..there really only 2 choices....for all us to make.
..and the final impact..seem to be measured..in positive or negative
feelings. & an energy force ...that have the power of creation.

is it amazing the things our feelings give us..and all we accomplished?
..and so easy..to do better.



WOW...this..is where our disney memories have real values!..and all
the rest....we do. soooooo here' you are..utah m. , ....why? ..i used
...one of my verbal intervention...to redirect...over and over,

..."do the things you want to remember tomorrow, and you will
avoid regrets"...* digging down deep, for motivation...for change.
..also..., spend some of your time..learning your value system.
why?..first..a value system..is made up..of a person..strongest
2 feelings.."what you like vs don't". now, if you kno the difference
between the 2 [ really kno] , then your on your way. ( surely one,
doesn't need which direction to chose? )

....and..one more...need to process...for sucess, "learn from your
mistakes...by being brave enough/motivated...to chose an
alternative..the next time....ta~dah!

in your heart..and every individual's potential ...in their lifetimes.

sooooo, all the things..we do...producing good & bad feelings...
are significant..in how we are remember...and pass on to ..our
families. another intervention, you don't need the whole world to
adore..you, just the few that makes up your daily routines...

isn't it very ,very intersting.....feelings tie to our energy sources?
don't believe me...ha!..and the things..we pass on? well, put the
2 together?.."pass~on".., what are your pass~"i"~ons?

..how?..did i find?? i ame in the backwards route..." trying to id
the causes..for emotional pain, so i could developed..interventions
that..work, losses-parents, $$, health...& lonliness. all of sudden,
the went off...the ways..we live life..directly effects...
how we maintains..the feelings produced.....our greatest (individual)
desires. funny, how these things..al come together...just like
the holy bilble [ regardless who's version ]...teaches?

oh..i never worry..bout...being attack...*reality orientation--
works great! another favorite..so you~ really want to make the
world a better palce..then works on self improvments, and
by being happpier..you will encourage..them. cool ?!

..awhile ago..that had a "life preserver"....effect. (we are
more of a proccessing center... than anything else,
& therefore, they admitt those..with medical needs ~
that we must attend].....drug od...the whole bottle gone...

...and admitted to us. alert /awake...but very goggy.
..od...has this "odd"..presentaion..where, going to sleep
can very dangerous. [ well that's the theory]...the
sedation...continues..and where a normal person...would've
exhibited...respiratory..distresses..there are none with an
od. instead....a gradually..porcession into cessation. death.

...so i told the assigned staff...this is what we must watched
for..as we have no other leads. sure enough, as soon as he
went to sleep...his respirations down..18, 15, 12, 8...pulse
o2.....65..55. normaly..a person would be in grave distresses,
here none. sleeping like a baby...narcan...reverses the narcotics'
effects.


sooo easy..to miss with terrible results. to me, the indication is
clear...all possible oder's..need respiratory..monitoring.. in icu,
not on the floor. as the behaviors..alerting us to real life
threats...are depressed...& not activated.

I am not ready to see my gray hair. I know that they are there, just have no desire to see them on me. Don't think I ever will.

I was in a "I NEED MY HAIR COLORED NOW" mood on Friday, so while the little ones were napping I frosted my own hair. Saved lots of money, but don't tell my friend Cathy. (she does my hair)


I have the prettiest view out my french door windows of my kitchen.

There's a mini forest behind us and it's just a palet of color right now. Can't the leaves just stay on the trees and fall off in the spring right before the new ones start growing? Just a suggestion.

My accomplishment for the day was vacuuming Although I did dishes at 2:30 am last night I need to fit in a shower yet, and probably should do some laundry.

We had broccoli and califlower and she smooshed them all over her and the high chair and, well EVERYWHERE. A wash cloth wouldn't even begin to clean her off.

The sun finally came out today. The weather is soo pretty. Tomorrow is going to be nicer and Tuesday even nicer.

Marita - Is it sooooooo nice there? You're so lucky, you always get things like 5 degrees cooler than us.

We decided to take the boys fishing this afternoon at some man dug rock pit lakes about 8 blocks away. You can swim there, the water is crystal clear, but they are deep and there are gaters since it's Florida and all. We have swam in them before, but now lots of people go back there and party so we've stayed away. It was nice out there though. I took some cool pictures(I think) and we saw different types of flowers and trees we haven't seen elsewhere. But we didn't catch any fish. I think they've been fished out over the summer.

DH emptied the cat litter box today. Only to find out there is no more litter in the house.
I called DD, who picked some up. So finally at 7:15 or so I went to put it in the litter box. On the way from the kitchen to the bathroom, the bag broke. So now I have a 5' trail of litter in the living room. And I can't vacuum it, cause it would wake DH up, who needs to wake up at 2:30 am.

Well, I gess it is supposed to deodorize at least, right?
