Good Morning!

Big weekend here. Friday night I had my Mom and Dad, my Sister and her DH, my Brother and 2 of his friends for dinner. Then Mom and Dad took the kids home with them and we had a sleepover with my brother and his friends and my sister and her DH. We played manhunt outside in the dark and then we came inside and played hide and seek in the dark until 1:30am. It was fun. Then Saturday I hosted my brother's birthday party there were a ton of people here. Thankfully nothing bad happened to the house. Mainly the carpet is my biggest worry. I hate carpet. We played kickball and then a few hours of capture the flag in the woods. Big fun. I can barely move though. I'm too old for all that running around and diving for the kickball to get someone out. I'm covered in bruises and scratches. It was fun though.

Yesterday Isaac decided walking was lots of fun. Today he's walking more than crawling.

Marita I thought Amex did traveler's checks - and had a new program so their cc could be used! We have sweaters everywhere here - Target, WalMart, etc... Take a deep breath and enjoy Germany - dont let your mom's comments sink in, just answer her with "I love you mom" We'll miss you around here Marita!!

Alli our district used to do outdoor ed, they cancelled it this year - they'll make it up by taking the kids to 4 hour field trips 4 times a year! Sad that. How's your legs doing?

Mony you are excited!! I guess I should try and call dining - we have a 3:30 Mama Melrose adr that is just too early!! (FDP ) but I'm thinking we're doing a late breakfast that day, so it will be like a brunch - but lunch / dinner!! I was going to cancel, but I've been reading the DIning Reviews, and I love the pics of MM!

DD and I didnt go to the Shower at the fiance's family - DD decided yesterday would be a good day to get sick... of course we didnt believe her (BAD Mommy) I got all dressed, and tried to guilt her into going, (dh and ds were having a gathering of the guys, no guys allowed at the shower!) But things fell apart fast - then and only then did I think to take her temp!! 101.4

2 weeks before we leave to Disney.... so now I'm sneezing and have a headache...

Cel I got lost on the CB again a dad shot his 10yr dd with a bb gun "what should I do" A 13yr is grounded for life "what should I do? He stole my cc and used it to buy itunes" Middle School Advanced Math is hard lots of homework... or how about "What music do you want played at your funeral?"

My legs are fine. I think this last treatment (which was twice as strong as last weeks) finally worked on that one that really stuck out on the side of my right leg, but the wavy one on the back of my knee is still there. So, I'll probably have to "up the ante" again this week for that one on the back of my knee.

At least DD and you are getting your sickness out of the way BEFORE your trip. Hope she feels better soon.

AAAAACCKKKKKK! I have today off and I got nothing done. Ieven slept in till 11.Which I NEVER do on a vacation day. Don;t want to waste time, KWIM? I have a laundry to do out the gazoo, but there it sits, mocking me! I have to get my nails done today, but I don't want to I have to color my hair,but I dont feel like it.

Somebody please send me some engergy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday to all you Moovers! Our rain has FINALLY stopped! Thank goodness! It's so nice to see the sun today!

Marita, git going on your To-Do List!! You'll feel sooooo much better once you can check a few things off that list. I always find that if I write everything down, the simple act of being able to cross off a few chores gives me enough of a sense of accomplishment to get to the rest of the stuff. Hopefully, that will work for the looooong list of stuff I didn't get done this weekend.

Poor DH was so put off by the looks of things at the reception that all he dared to try was the decaf coffee. Even that was served with soy milk...and he's no fan of soy. The wedding cake was egg and dairy free, of course, and looked, according to DH, like something that might be used to build a good, sturdy wall. The other options were pseudo-tartlets with slimy fruit, a giant nut tray, and fruit skewers. He came home and spent a solid hour in the kitchen grazing on this and that in an effort to make up for it, though.

Lynt, yikes,that menu sounds awful! I get people being vegetarian, but not even eggs or dairy products?
And I have lists,got things crossed off. But today that that I specifically took off to do things, Igot nothing done so far. NOT ONE THING!
Last night I went top put in a load of laundry, but DD inforend me that she was about to do a load. (which she does almost daily)
My carpet looks horrible, I have to vacuum badly.

Anybody want a 15year old cat and dog???????? Please?

Marita you are getting on that plane and you ARE going to Germany - so get to work! and leave the dern carpet alone - who cares! Are you going to take dirty laundry? GET your hair done!! Do your nails, do it for YOU, not for a judgemental mom that you are just going to say "I love you mom" over and over!! and stay up ALL night so you'll sleep on the plane!! Dont forget to pack a pillow and blanket for the flight!! (get one of the polartech fleece things - just buy 2 yards at a fabric store - no sewing, they cut it, and you have a nice blanky!)

Sandy, I got my nails and eyebrows done today. I have a load in the washer that is long done, but it will have to wait till after a nap. I interrupted some poor ladies pedicure to get my eyebrows done just to get out of there. But pedicures are good, never hurts to soak your feet in swirling hot water, so I didnt feel so bad about it. I might get one Thursday or Friday if I have time (which is not looking goog at the moment).

Oh, and Ihae teeth cleaning scheduled for tomorrow.
But now I need a nap before I do anything else.... and eat something....

Sandy, nope..no dancing. The reception was at an art gallery. DH didn't mind that, since he's not a real fan of dancing. Besides, I was at home, so he wouldn't have danced anyway. Also, because of where it was held, there was no band or DJ...just piped-in classical music. Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Hope your DD is better soon! Can you at least get her to drink water? I'm always afraid my kids will dehydrate when they're sick. Ack!

I made it through a day of eating healthy!

I got my psych exam grade back. It was a B.

Why am I not happy about that?


Tomorrow I get my Biology grade.

The mosquitos are horrible over here. They are so bad you can suck them in just breathing.

They are this years bad bug.

Wendy, I read on the peeps you were making chili, so I did too with ground turkey and northern and white beans and some veggies. In the slow cooker which I hardly use. Thanks it turned out great.



K, I have kids to get in bed.

I did homework at football practice tonight.

Slightly. I still a have to fold and iron clothes, and color hair,and pack. And if I call in siick I will most probabably(i messed that up) reallly be sick! so work it is
got a messae that we work from sister hotel tomorrow. So maybe I will get a panini from BW bakery tomorrow. Never had one, I hope they are good.
