mommyp - Are you taking jeremiah with you to go shopping? Do you blindfold him?
I think issac's roller coaster looks like fun. Just as long as it's further away from the entertainment center.

I should really research more on china.
them putting fake tibetan monks on tv a few months ago is pretty dispicable.
I didn't realize they were going after Christians more now either.

I'm trying to exist this week without going to the grocery store.
It's not working so well!
I stole some oatmeal from breadman's house, but it's so old it tastes really bad.
Yesterday I had a grapefruit, a bowl of cereal, free cake from work and a tuna fish sandwich at my mom's house.
And I ate my last three dove dark promises.
:(

Today I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I had a grapefruit for breakfast (one more left! It will probably be a snack) and I have one hormel meal left for lunch.
dinner is up in the air.
I might see what my mom is making or get a small fry and double cheeseburger at mcdonalds ($2.19, baybeeee!).

twinkie - you need a batphone so you can check in all during your trek.

hi to everyone else.

Crate train them asap! Well it totally. TOTALLY works!

We saw Wall-e too yesterday. Absolutely loved it and appreciated the plot and theme. B n L reminds me of Walmart in a small way.

:thumbsup2 I found a crate at a garage sale for $5 :yay:

so last night we crated them - I have to tell you I am. was. overwhelmed so last night - I was in tears - then that made dd cry too - dh was like, I feel bad I made both of you cry!! I walked them for 1 1/2 hours and NO poo...

DH walked them this am!

They did great in the crate btw!! Funny how I was thinking we wouldnt need it (the cost :scared1: $59 ! ) but I was in denial!! Thank googness for garage sales!!

Moo  hope you can come out and play soon!

cel that's some diet you're on - I need to be on the "no buy" or "no grocery store" diet too!!

MommyP just adorable!!

NAB Happy Canada Day!! :dance3: Have fun!! (and ITA about the cleaning thing! ug, I am a bad girl that way!) Rib sauce - Alabama - I"m sure it was sweet, things from Alabama are sweet!! ( Allie)

Lexi did I miss your morning post? Last week of camp? Ar it will be worth it! (wont it? )

Monica[/B] super :grouphug: thanks for the update - continued miracles for Tim!!

:grouphug:

One more Mooooover checking in? Did y'all miss me? *crickets chirping*

AHEM.

I am in the land of Enchantment aka New Mexico, not Old Mexico, or Ancient Mexico or Aging Mexico or even Emeritus Mexico (SnarkbRitches can I get a gym out of that one, tyverymuch)

We left on Friday, spent 15 hours driving to Amarillo. When it was my turn to drive (between Rolla, MO and Oklahoma City) the family entertained themselves by feeding me sour jelly beans and watching my facial expressions. ( please see my TR for details on this phenomenon). The boys also played what part of the body did that sound just come from. I did NOT participate in that game. I put on my Michael Buble cd and attempted to tune out all complaints of "MOM, he hit me. MOM, he looked at me. MOM he smells funny. MOM, nothing, just saying MOM"

How come when the dh drives, I get to field all child induced questions and when I drive I STILL get to field all child induced questions while he sleeps peacefully, blissfully unaware that WW III has just broken out in the back seat.

DD is competing in a national finals rodeo this week. She rodeos M, T, twice on W, R, and F. So I will be busy, busy, but I did want to stop in and say HI.

hope everyone is well. I tried to read back some. I apologize in advance for my skimming.

HAVE A NICE TRIP TWINKADOODLE!!!

babycow - Say hi to the desert for me! I'll be back out there on the 14th.
Say hi to some desserts for me too, if you want.

And lintasare lives out there.

dangit. your stalking skills are a bit off. you will miss me by about a week.

HI LINTASARE. I would stalk ya if I knew where you were. BWHAHAHAHA!

p.s. consider your dessert/desert request granted.

1. Despite the fact that your post reads like the mental wanderings of a schizophrenic, I understood it. (Heaven help me!) So yes, you can have a gym.

2. Hmph. This very same thing occurs in my family. This is mainly because my DH could fall asleep standing up in the middle of a highway, so if he isn't in the driver's seat, he's snoozin'. That's always when my kids decide to over-"Mom" me.

Happy birthday to Jeremiah Poppins! And happy birthing day to MommyP! Whatcha gonna do to celebrate? popcorn::

coffee may have the power to stop MS - 6 - 8 cups per day, and they didnt get the disease!! Track caffeine in current MS patients is the next step in this research

Watermelon may help your sex drive - trigger healthy reactions, it stimulates amino acids, helps heart, type 2 diabetes, and mimics something like viagra!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I was watching the News at Noon on WGN tv - and the medical report came on - so I had to type it - but the newscaster that was reporting on the Watermelon helping the sex drive - :rotfl2 He had a huge pause, and the other (female) newscasters "why the pause"? LOL

<must get more watermelon>

Another PSA >

If you havent red the Newberry Award Winning book Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo - DO!! They showed us a preview at WALL-E and DD (12) says it is such a good book (think Rattatouille) that she has read it 3 times!!

BBN Googgest Luck to DD!!

/
Sandy, I KNEW coffee had value besides the obvious deliciousness and headache-killing properties! Thanks for the PSA!

BBN, meant to say Super Good Luck to Julia! Not that she needs it.......;)

I know this is mixing Church and State, so to speak, but OUR VERY OWN Lynt just spellt "TRICORN" :rotfl: pirate:

Which of course y'all know is a George Washingtonish/ pirate-y type hat...NOT a unicorn with 3 horns. I know, I googled.

No I didn't take Jeremiah with me to the store. That would be hard, although I hadn't thought of a blindfold. It would have been good for a laugh. As if we don't draw enough attention to ourselves, just being out. I actually only took Kaleb. It was wonderful! Having only one child is soooooooooooo easy. I love to be able to take them out 1 or 2 at a time sometimes. It's so refreshing. We had lunch together and everything.

Twinkie thanks you for this useful post. Specially the reminder that the dad's job is driving and pumping gas and controlling the radio. The mom's job is all child related needs, questions, pit stops, changes and emergencies, navigating, and driving. :teacher:

Goog luck to J! We even watched about a rodeo on ESPNclassic last night. Don't worry. I won't leave plastic flamingos in your yard as I pass through Sunnybrooke (I may pick up a goat or two on the way though).

MommyP...Happy birthday to Jeremiah!!!!

I agree with all of these sentiments. Happy Jeremiah and Canada Day!

Just a fly-by. Busy, busy,, busy here........

Mony, Great news!
BBN, good luck to Julia!
Twinkie, safe travels!
Moo, feel better!
MP, great video!

Marita-I want to know which 5th floor resort building is infested with bed bugs? You know, in case I'm planning a SURPRISE stalking trip.

There is NO infestation, just a precaution before the start the room rehab.

HI everone else. Gotta run along, work is calling....

TWINKIE! I think Lexington would be a purrrrfect stopping point! If you can't stop, I'm still available to wave from the overpass. Just let me know what time. :)

MP....Tell Jeremiah HAPPY BIRTHDAY from his internet aunties!

Sandy....I have tried to read Despereux TWICE and just can't abide the talking animals. Has DD read Edmund Tulane? I hear that one is good too.

BNCG....Have fun in the land of enchantment! Julia will be a star!

Speaking of a star.... :cool2:

My sweet little niece won the Fourth of July Festival pie contest downtown today! There were 50 entries and she was the only child to enter. They were surprised when they called her name and she came up to accept the prize. We're waiting right now to see her interview on the news.

Guess what I made for dinner?

Jeremiah asked for alfredo for dinner, so I made the one from Alfredo's. The famous one at Epcot. Oh my. Sooooooo easy and the BEST!

Great, MommyP, care to share the recipe?

3. I am sure BigL owns a Tricorn. Bawhstonians take history seriously.

1. Did you notice the disparity in the distribution of responsibilities? Hmm? Didja? :sad2:

2. Careful there, Twink. I think the BBN takes her goats pretty seriously.

3. True dat, my golden snack cake pal!

Our town's 4th of July festivities began today. DH (who had the day off) walked Boris and Natasha down to the Kickoff Supper on the Town Common. Apparently, all of the kids' friends were there too, so it became quite a social event.

I stayed home and Mojo-sat. I also managed to get oodles of housework done. Gotta have the house in tip-top condition for the weekend. Unfortunately, I neglected to eat supper, so now I'm starving! What to have, what to have?
