(that's why I was laughing):thumbsup2

HEY. I am standing RIGHT HERE.

Excuuuuuuuuuuuse me for trying to injterject with a little light hearteded silliness. And Wendy, after I was nice to you about not liking sports, and celery after I put the batting eyes in my signature just for you. :snooty: I expect this behavior from you WT, afterall you are a lawyer.

Let me rephrase my last several posts.

The weather is nice. We are having tacos for supper. I am going to drive to Wal Mart. The End.

Pipe down.
You KNOW I was kidding, Itchy! puckerup:
Right? riiiight???

So? tacos, eh? :bitelip:

Now, me and Monica and Celery are going to hold you down and force feed you hunks of deep fried butter because you are WAYYYYY too cute and skinny (and young...) ;)

Hey, hey, hey! I want in on that too! I have a cuteness threshold, Peej, and you have crossed it! Deep fried butter with a milkshake chaser for you, sistah!

Speaking of food, I just made peanut butter bars. There's plenty for everyone. See y'all soon.

Don't go dangling the idea of peanut butter anything in front of us just after posting bikini pics of you and your Just-Got-Outta-College cuteness. That's just plain mean. Harumph.

Is anyone watching "So You Think You Can Dance"...these kids are so good. I bunch of friends and I from my hometown use to go dancing every Wendsday...I really miss that...my wife doent like dancing much.

Hound, my kids and I LOVE that show! I have watched every season so far. My DD sits with a paper and pencil and makes notes on who she wants to vote for. Hee!

SnarkbRitches: I know NO such joke.

Frankly, Scarlett, I think you're fulla baloney.

What are you paying for a gallon over there?

We are teetering around 3.99-4.09 a gallon.

Yea! Pumba! Next one's easy right?

Peej: I loved your mini TR. Brings back memories of not being married, not having kids, free time, hanging with my girlfriends..................what was I thinking?????????
Just kidding I love my family very much!::yes::

Lexy: Take a hot shower. Seriously, it takes away the burn.

:furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:
Let it be known. I hate pull-ups. I hate that the diaper makers are now making size 7's.

Thank you.:cool2:

My rule is they can wear a pullup when mom puts it on them - but as soon as they have the first accident of the day, they get a diaper.
Cuz you can rip the wet pull up off and put the diaper on them while they are standing.
::yes::
Reminds me of the days when I had a class of 8 two year olds by myself and none of them were potty trained.
Potty time was at 9 when blues clues was on. it was the only tv show they'd sit still through.
that way I could run back and forth between the bathroom and tv area.
geez.
My mean mom didn't pay me enough!
What's the ratio for 2 year olds now?

/
BBN=smartypants.

joking, joking.

move on people. nothing to see.::cop:

Thanks, Cel. Natasha got a kick out of your VeggieNinjaSupreme location. And she and Boris both got the pun behind your nickname. Boris thinks it's a hoot.

Big L - They might like the books that inspired my name -
The first is Bunnicula by James Howe.
The second in the series is The Celery Stalks at Midnight.
They're stories about the pets of one family - a cat and a dog - who get a bunny added to the clan - only the bunny is a vampire!!! But it turns out vampire bunnies suck the juice out of vegetables.
:rotfl2:
They're from when I was little, but my library still has them.

I just looked them up on Amazon -
You can get the first three books in a set for 10.87!!!! :yay:

They're from when I was little, but my library still has them.

Now that is a sad statement. Of course the library should still have them! I love out of print books and you should be able to find them at the library. But all too often things that are not checked out enough are trashed to make room for the Bodice Ripper Du Jour.

Our library here stinks. Egh.

Anyway- I read those books when I was little too. I may still have them in paperback in my mom's attic.

Good afternoon, all Just wanted to say that the tone is MUCH more cheerful around here today. ::yes:: I'm glad everyone is in brighter spirits lately and as Lil'G might say,

I hope you all have rare days of feeling :worried: or :( or

and that every morning you'll get out of bed and  as you think about how lucky you are

to have people who  you.

When trouble comes your way just :duck: and before you know it

:goodvibes days will come your way.

Cel, thanks. I'll give those a look. Blessedly, both Boris and Natasha have inherited my love of reading. They especially like books with a not-quite-typical sense of humor. Heh. Where'd they get that? :confused3

They actually reprinted them, twinks! And he wrote more! :yay:
My stupid library just has the old copies though.
With yellowed pages.
:cloud9:
You can buy a VHS of the cartoon for a mere $34 bucks!

I'm so mad. I realized recently that the evil ex roommate (chris, not tammy) has my copy of the last unicorn.
:(
We bought it and a dragon vhs together from amazon one time. I can't remember the name of the dragon one, but it was from the same time period and had John Ritter as a professor type.
hmm.
I'm gonna go look it up.
brb

the john ritter cartoon was "The flight of dragons"
It was good.
Can y'all believe he died in 2003? It doesn't seem like it was that long ago.
I'm getting old.

Thanks for the itchy scratchy show!! :rotfl2:

Kenny in the bushes :rotfl2:

Mony GMA or Today show did a segment on Diaper Booty Camp - how to potty train in one afternoon!!! You feed them salty snacks (so they get thirsty) you give them sugary koolaid (it doesnt quench the thirst so they drink even MORE -) then you give them big kids pants - and have them stay in the tiled area of the house (kitchen) keep them there - with their potties, and have some scheduled games, books, or playdough - BUT... when/if they have an "accident" THEY must CLEAN IT UP all by themselves!!! You of course help them as they clean up their 'mistakes'

It was really interesting!!

I agree with Celery!! :goodvibes Celery I had 12 - 15 2 year olds at the daycare! :scared1: NONE potty trained - I didnt last a week :rotfl2: They demoted me to the infant room - another 12 - 15 babies - BUT at least there was one other worker!!! :faint: I learned after that place!!

Books I didnt get into the Captain Underpants or the Junie B Jones series - I didnt like giving my kids more ammo for potty mouths!! :rotfl2: But there is a series The Knights of the Kitchen Table that the boys, and dd enjoyed!!

all right gotta do more research for Father's Day (ds are you or are you NOT coming? DS why are you not telling me the whole truth? DS??? DS??? :rotfl2: He may have moved out of the house, but I'm still on to him!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

I'm set to call my brother tonight!! :goodvibes

It's so nice to have the witty banter of peej and babycow again. :rotfl2:
y'all are gonna be crying when we take our witty banter to another thread. And you know who you're not gonna come crying TO???? That'd be me. I won't even be able to hear you from all the way on that other thread. :snooty:

It's the Itchy and Scratchy Show today! :stir:
Really? Ya think? I fail to see the resemblance. :scratchin I mean, we look about the same height in the first picture.

WITTY BANTER. It's something that lawyers are unfamiliar with.

HEY. I am standing RIGHT HERE.
I know you like when I share my facebook life with you. ;) So here's a perfect bumper sticker from facebook. Apparently y'all took a lesson from the victorian era folk.

I feel the need to clarify TMbbn (give credit where credit is due): I EAT FOOD. So all the food chasing is silliness. In fact, I just ate lunch. On my own. No chasing involved.

Peej: I loved your mini TR. Brings back memories of not being married, not having kids, free time, hanging with my girlfriends..................what was I thinking?????????
Just kidding I love my family very much!::yes::
My aunt just sent me this email:
Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl, "Will you marry me?"

The girl said: "NO!"

And the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping,
dancing, camping, drank martinis, always had a clean house, never
had to cook, did whatever the heck she wanted, never argued, didn't
get fat, traveled more, had many lovers, didn't save money, and had
all the hot water to herself. She went to the theater, never watched
sports, never wore lacy lingerie that went up her butt, had
high self esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in
sweat pants and was pleasant all the time.

The End

It's almost like the universe is trying to tell me something. Interesting.

Heigh ho, heigh ho, it's off to Chef Mickey's I go. Big storm rolling in. Marita, did you hear that thunder?!

Where is everyone? Just a note I got to take care of 3 little boys today and got pd to do it. They are 1yr.,3,7. I only had 2 awake at a time. It was fun.
