Now I'm no Lexi, but I have done a few MSO's in my lifetime. Let me give it a whirl.

Backstage Gal. Too bad about the no care packages. It's so good you heard from your son though

UtahMama-Again with the Twilight series? You are tempting me to read it. I may go to the library today in your honor.

celerystalker-We saw Indiana Jones this weekend. It was really good, but after waiting twenty years, I think it could have been better.
love0084.gif
hope to see it this weekend

Minnie_Moo-Have you gotten back into the swing of things post WDW trip? as if - isnt it time to go again!!

lalijack-Your bbq sounds so Martha Stewartesque. I expected nothing less. 1-4-3 and great big sloppy smooches.WTG

monymony3471- Steve Yzerman is cool, not as cool as Peyton Manning, but to each their own. Perhaps we should remind bdg that it's not nice to hate. CHELIOS CHELIOS CHELIOS

RobInBigKC-I'm sure the wife enjoyed the lovely homemade cards from the boys on Mothers day. Remember, every day should be Mothers day.

TwinkieMama-are you stuck under a pile of laundry and cant get up?

NAB-Dont you have a field trip this week? Good luck.;)

lexmelinda-I am quite sure I am butchering your MSO, but at least I'm making a concerted effort.

babynurse1-Get back to procreating. Sheesh.

PrincessJasmine08 -Oh sweetie, I am so glad you got your diploma after such drama. It is shocking that anything involving you is EVER dramatic.

pumba -Is the snow finally gone for good? You never can tell, last week it was a close call here, but its 80 again!

Sandy321-How's the computer problems?

Lil' Grumpy-We havent heard from you in forever either. Did you forget another birthday?Hi

MommyPoppins-Thanks for sharing the pictures. Your boys are adorable!DEFINATELY!

poly-Did the paprazzi finally get to you? Perhaps you should hire a bodyguard. I hear DTD and his pals are some big guys. AND DTD was wanting to switch jobs.ut oh

Hey Bloodhound, you owe me money!
I booked our flights and rental car for the Disneyland trip. Airfare, $198 + fees, ends up about $250. Got a full size rental car(Ford Taurus or similar) for $139 for a week, taxes and everything included. Got the car from Hertz through Hotwire and we're flying Frontier(anybody know anything about them?) that I got through CheapAir.com. Now all we need are our hotels and we are set. We're coming back on Thursday instead of Friday. All the goog flights prices are only goog through the 30th. We're getting Citypass tix for $217 I think, so we should be in great shape. HOw's your plans coming along, Wendy? Think you'll be traveling from Memphis or SLC? BTW the most redneck town in KY(Morgantown) has a LDS church.
I had to do something positive today, work was awful. It was FRYday, but there wasn't enough oil, so I had to fry on the stove, not a safe thing to do. Then, when I went to dispose of the grease, they had put a construction fence up and the grease barrel was behind it. They've knocked lots of walls down, and a dog got into the area and could have just wondered into the kitchen. I hope I get that other job. I hope I get that other job. I hope I get that other job.
Note to stalkers- Bloodhound looks like every soldier's grandpa. Easy to spot. Most of the retired military looks more like me.

Crap! I was going to suggest you fly to Salt Lake and we could car pool the rest of the way. You can even have all my kids. :thumbsup2

We'll still be here I'm sure.

And did you just now think that I'd blend well in a Redneck KY town, mister?????
Harumph! Oh, wait, I'm a self proclaimed redneck woman, who has a love for all things yuppy. You're excused. ::cop:

We've been so many times that we don't really have to plan. Isn't that a shame? Just make an ADR to Ariel's "Ghetto" and Blue Bayou. We're still staying at the luxurious Island Inn & Suites.

IS anyone else glued to the National Spelling Bee? :3dglasses
I useta could spell. :rolleyes1

Lynette I'll share mine, if you share yours!! Mine is my Grandma's (from TX) I have to make that pie once a year!!

I would love that recipe also.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Nothing much going on around here.:cutie: :cutie:

Hey Sandy and Cel's Mama! You ladies have a deal! As I told Marita, I'll PM the recipe sometime tomorrow. And I'll be happy to get a copy a of your recipe when you get a chance, Sandy. :goodvibes

Hey Sandy, missed you , good to see you posting again!

SoI just turned on House Hunters on HGTV, and they guys says "our budget is a million dollars, but we can spend more if we have to"

Yes flower is dead, she got bit by a big ole cobra snake while protecting her family and babies in the burrow...it was a very sad episode

All new episodes start up next Friday :flower:

Hi guys. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the encouragement and support. UMA, your closing words were appreciated. If necessary I will ask to have the thread closed. I didn't want it to look like I was a coward slinking away from a fight. :(

On a happier note, tomorrow I'll post a picture of Tornado's new companion. They are getting along really well. The vet was amazed that we had already passed through the Hiss and GRRrrrrr stage in a week, and now they both sleep on the bed with us.

I can say it here, but I wouldn't dare say it "there". . . pets are a lot easier to deal with than children. :confused3

Kay, yay on the kittens! (or old tomcat, as the case may be)

And you know, this is the place to come if you need help, support, share good or bad news or just the everyday stuff

That's what friends are for!

Que the music.....

And I never thought I'd feel this way
And as far as I'm concerned
I'm glad I got the chance to say
That I do believe I love you
And if I should ever go away
Well, then close your eyes and try to feel
The way we do today
And then if you can remember
Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for
Well, you came and opened me
And now there's so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you
Whoa, and then for the times when we're apart
Well, then close your eyes and know
These words are comin' from my heart
And then if you can remember, oh
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
In good times, in bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
Oh, that's what friends are for
Whoa... oh... oh... keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, oh, for sure
'Cause I tell you that's what friends are for
For good times and for bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for (That's what friends are for)
On me, for sure
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'

You KNOW I had to do this, right?

I've dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my demons
Finally content with a past I regret
I've found you find strength in your moments of weakness
For once I'm at peace with myself
I've been burdened with blame,
trapped in the past for too long
I'm movin' on

I've lived in this place and I know all the faces
Each one is different but they're always the same
They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it
They'll never allow me to change
But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong

I'm movin' on

I'm movin' on
At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me
And I know there's no guarantees, but I'm not alone
There comes a time in everyone's life
When all you can see are the years passing by
And I have made up my mind that those days are gone

I sold what I could and packed what I couldn't
Stopped to fill up on my way out of town
I've loved like I should but lived like I shouldn't
I had to lose everything to find out
Maybe forgiveness will find me somewhere down this road
I'm movin' on

I'm movin' on
I'm movin' on

It's ok moo. I will forgive you for your lack of Scrabble. Really. I'm fine with it.;)
SnarkbRitches??!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

bbn, who sings that song? I'm too lazy to google it . . .

Hmmmm, HOW did I know that you would be fine with my absence from Scrabblin'?!! :lmao:

Twink, sorry for sucking YOU in then abandoning Facebook lately ;)

Thanks, Moo! Hope you get the scrapbooking done soon. I enjoy scrapbooking but sometimes I get sick of it when it starts taking forever and then I just kinda glue pictures on the pages all haphazardly. :rotfl2:
Yeah, I'm starting to feel that way, PJ. A little bit, LOL!

Goog luck with your housing hunting pixiedust:

Enjoy your time at the :beach:

Nabbie - Congrats to Hannah on her Celebration!

I'm not sending me all the rain, I swear!!!

I think Sandy must be sending it our way because we're getting some rain too!!! :rotfl: But we really do need it, so it doesn't bother me too much. Just hope it doesn't spoil graduations/open houses this weekend.

Hi, Sandy! Missed you. Sorry your family is being so ornery. If my hubby weren't so grumpy about having company you'd be welcome to stay with me. Maybe we can at least get together for an afternoon or evening together? Maybe Mony could join us?! Does your hubby still have relatives
here that you could stay with?

20 people on the waiting list for the Twilight books!!!!!!!!! Wow. Guess I should break down and buy them as they come out in paperback.

Today the hospital called up for info for Monday and my pre-op info thingie and testing ......so all of a sudden I am thinking YUP this is it.....and even though I am nervous I know that this is the only way I can have peace and see far as well as close up.....
Marie, I'm sure they will give you some goog meds like Marita said so you'll be as comfortable as possible. When I had my Lasik done, the staff were wonderful. They do a lot of other eye surgeries there too. My FIL had his cataract removed by my eye surgeon.

We'll send lots of prayers for you

Pumba, I have to have the glaucoma surgery too. The doc and several people and even my mom (who had it at age 89 or later) said it's no big deal. I got my new glasses and I cant see a dang thing with them on the computer. So I think I will get is sooner rather than later. The dr. even said some people beg for it cause the A) love the medication (I imagine something like the laughing gas at the dentist) and B) love the way they see better from the new eye.

Oh. Moo, abut the post from yesterday, I dont think they had to carry two guys per person, just that two other guys had to pick them up. I dont even think you could carry 2 people.

Marita, do you need cataract or glaucoma surgery? My mom had a cataract removed and it was easy peasy.

Thanks for clarifying, TMbbn! Aw, nice song!!!!!!!!!!

Bloodhound! Thanks for the PM about my friend's microwave issue. I sent your suggestions to her, but she said it is at least 8 years old and she just as soon get a new one that is stainless steel to go with her new dishwasher. She is slowly transitioning over to SS. She checked prices on-line and they were outrageous, but I think she must have been looking at really fancly ones. I saw some at Best Buy after work and most of the countertop models were under $200. At least they were able to fix her stove today for the cost of a service call :thumbsup2 It was just some loose wires.

I was drooling over the Mac laptops at Best Buy - my goodness, they are pricey! I kept setting off the alarms  because I was picking some of them up to see how light they were

Yay, on the kitten finally settling in, Kay! Looking forward to seeing the pic.

I took the puppies to the vet's office for Bordatella vaccines today because Cash has kennel cough and DD is bringing him with her next week when she visits (of course). Hope they can avoid catching it, but I know they will want to play together. They had their heartworm check too. TG they took the pills without a fuss. Poor Sukie was so pitiful tonight holding up her "sore paw" from where the doc drew blood. It was pretty cute.

Thanks for the moo hooty shout out Backstage gal  I feel so special

Minnie Moo ...glad to help anytime ...it sounded like she didnt want to have to purchase a new one when I first read the other post you made is why a made the suggestions. Good Deal on the service repair then...nothing to major at all .....loose wires are hard to find sometimes....nice repairman he was

Moo, I need the cataract.

Pumba
, we can hold hands, ok?

WTH, Moo, you went to bed before me today??????

I'm still up, Marita! Playing Scrabble . . .

BH - You're right about my friend not wanting to have to get a new microwave at first, but she told me today she is leery of electrical issues and prefers to have a new one due to that.
