Well. I took some pictures of the carb colored walls and my personal Geek Squad photobucketed them.

BUT they're yellower than they appear. :confused3 So, in your mind's eye, go more lemon.

These are the super cool cowboy prints I picked up and framed rustically:

This is what I've done "So Far" using stuff I already had. I want to get matching bedding and make more cow throw pillows and get a denim rag rug. (Like all cowboys have) :sad2: The Pokemon stuff is boxed up. :guilty: :guilty: <Dallen and Riley

Wendy: Ugh! Hope Norah gets to feeling better soonest so you can be happier also. That's great news for you on your DH finding a job. I brushed out our Golden yesterday so I know exactly what you mean about all the hair. I brushed ours out indoors and used a large trash can but normally I take her out on the upper deck in the backyard and LET THE FUR FLY (I'm sure my neighbors love me! ).

-- Rob

We let the fur fly too, usually. I am amazed at how much undercoat comes off them.

Norah is sleeping now cuz I gave her a breathing treatment which I should have done last night. And gave her some Delsym (sp?) to help her. I'm fine, just sleep deprived after the constant coughing last night.

JAZZ are on. The only time they're on network TV is when they play the Lakers :confused3 Look at me trying to be sporty.

Goog afternoon, friends! I slept WAY in today. I had trouble sleeping last night so I watched 27 Dresses at 2:00 am

Got up bright and early at 6 am on my own (shocking!) and made some coffee, then decided to go back to bed, LOL. Back up at 7:10 (I know Moo feels my pain). My son and FIL came over and we left.

Ceremonies started at 9 am. May I just say I HATE stadium seating!!

We had a very good commencement speaker, former Lt Governor of Fl, she was amusing.

So they did the Doctoral candidates, then the Master degrees ( I thought of Moo and her DD  )
Marita, I DID feel your pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for recapping your DD's graduation day with us  Sounds like you had a lovely time. I'm surprised they read off each graduate's name. I think that is pretty rare for a college graduation. My DD is not attending the huge graduation ceremony in the stadium - she is just going to her Department ceremony on Friday evening, so no stadium seating for us :woohoo:

We spent HOURS at the Best Buy yesterday and walked out with:

a new 22" LCD TV for our bedroom. I was tired of watching green faces.

a new DVD Recorder and VCR-that I can't figure how to set up. I followed the directions perfectly and it still won't show the playing of the movies on the TV. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

AND my NEW LAPTOP!

They have that though still cause they are loading it up for me.

Less than 2 years ago I lost my hard drive. Remember me talking about that?

Well, I brought that with me and the Geek Squad said my pictures and files were recoverable. ($99.00)

So, on my laptop will be a file with everything they were able to recover.

All of Mal's first pictures were on there. I am so hoping they are all recovered!!!!!!
WOW, Mony! Way to stimulate the economy!!!

I'm so happy they are able to recover your photos

I'm DED. Stayed up sort of late last night with a coughing dd who kept coughing till it gagged her so she'd throw up yuckiness.

DH lost his job last Weds. which is good because he HATED it and that mad-funk would always follow him home, if you know what I mean.

Unlike last year, he got the first job he applied for last Friday which already is a pay raise plus huge potential for big commissions. Best of all, this position is transferable to TN. I'm thinking that that closed door opened a very blessed window.
Poor Norah! :grouphug: Hope she's feeling better today, Wendy! And you, too!!!

I woke up with some chest congestion and wheezing today. Hope it was just allergies :guilty:

That's amazing that your hubby turned around his job situation like that!

Nice job on the boys' room!

Lex, that sure was sad about that filly :sad1: Sounds like that was an awesome party though. How are things going with the new Wii?

Lil G - My hubby is out mowing our grass right now. Our lawn is far from perfect :scared: But it's hard to keep up with almost two acres of yard.

Rob/Wendy, our German Shepherd that we had shed fur like that in the Spring. The puppies aren't too bad, TG.

Nabbie - Glad Hannah gets to watch some kids go before her for their first communion!

Well, I am working on packing this afternoon. :laundy: Laundry, here I come . . .

Just watched Thunder Over Louisville on tv, and it was amazing. Fireworks on tv usually stink, but this rivaled Wishes. I'm not exagerating. And it went on for 30 minutes. Lots of great oldies sung by other people. :confused3 When I started jonesing for a Mickey Bar, they switched the music to...It's a Small World After All. They followed that with When You Wish Upon A Star. Then lots of George M Cohen and finished with Battle Hymn of the Republic. Next year I need to make a point to head to Louisville for this show. It's always the week before the Derby.
Bummed out about Eight Belles. But this iswn't the first time a filly has raced against the guys(or guy) and had to be put down. Ruffian, in a match race against Foolish Pleasure, had to be destroyed at Belmont after shattering 2 bones in her ankle.
I didn't write that diatribe about wheat buns, the question was, who did. But y'all missed the big clue. I gave you 3 2 1 too late, and no one figured out Sandy. The prize will carry over to the next show.

Say what? You totally lost me, DTD.

UMA What a very cute cowboy room! Great job! :thumbsup2

SIS Got some news to share later if you're around. I am major psyched about our Nov. WDW trip. I just did something wild and crazy and impetuous!

Kay! Did you buy DVC? Or book at Marita's resort??!

DTD, I toadily missed your clue about Sandy! DOH! :headache: All I could think of was Pumba commenting about the wheat (NOWT)buns.

Thanks Kay!!!

YOU DID??? Share the news, you wild and crazy girl!

And bring us up to date on all that is YOU!

Ok, UMA, I'll spill my guts now even though SIS isn't around. ;)

I just confirmed a week in a studio at the Beach Club Villas, starting on the Saturday before we check in at our own timeshare resort on Sunday. Now I have two resorts for the week! Is that wild and crazy or what? :rotfl:

I had been planning to book one or two nights at a Moderate before the start of our timeshare week, but then I stumbled across this studio unit for $199.00 for the week plus a $95.00 "resort service fee." So, considering one night in a Beach Club Villas studio at Disney rack rates is $370, and I got the whole week for $294.00, I figured concurrent units might be sort of a waste, but what the hey! This way, we have an on-site base of operations and can run back to the Beach Club for a swim, a snack, a nap etc. If we're out late and don't feel like driving we can stay over-night. Since we will be staying on-site we can take advantage of Extra-Magic hours and all the other on-site perks.

On our non-Disney days (we usually only do two or three days at the parks) we can stay in our bigger one bedroom unit that has a full kitchen etc. at the other resort.

I could switch the week at my "home resort" to a week earlier and have two back-to-back weeks, but I'd have to pay a fee to do that, and I don't know if I'll want to take another week off this year. Plus, we wanted to stay in "our own unit" since we haven't stayed there since our honeymoon, eleven years ago, and if I trade the week, I probably couldn't get assigned to that same unit. So, we'll probably leave this crazy arrangement as is and have two units for the week.

Am I nutty or what? :confused3

Not much other news . . . at least none as exciting as this!

Hey, SIS, yes, I'll be around.
I went to reply earlier and my connections crapped out, and is still not back, so I am Emergency backp dial-up, but I'm here.

Are you coming???????? Are you? :yay:

My resort is for sale to any bidder. The most complex and stressful of any you could possible be at these days.

How I long for the days at Port Orleans:cloud9:

SIS, there you are!

Yes, I'm coming. Sort of in stereo, with the two units :goodvibes

I was thinking you could stay over at the Beach Club one of the nights we're not staying there. Then you'd have a real short drive to work the next day!

We can get together, maybe Sunday afternoon or some weekday evening. Whatever is good for you.

Sorry, Sis, I just saw that. I hate connection problems.

And yes, you are nuts, but what a brilliant plan!

Can't wait till November :dance3:

Hi Kay....you sound so excited. Who wouldn't be , going to WDW with two places and meeting Marita.

Man I am having trouble typing with out a left index finger....I spent the last two hours at emegency. I sliced my finger cutting Hannah a piece of french bread. Ended up with 4 stitches and thank goodness no tendon damage. Now I have to keep it bandaged up for two days and rebandage it after that for the next 10 days.

EEK Nabbie, so sorry! That sounds painful  I feel the need for a BBN to show up with an appropiate smiley!
