It's sunny and COLD in the Commonwealth this morning. 34! Brrrrrrr! I just hope it didn't freeze all the darling buds of May (ok, April) out there. It's currently 65 in the house. I'm like NAB, 64 is the cut off.

It's gonna be 72 on Saturday though. What's Saturday???? Come on people!

Monica....I am available to visit Las Vegas any time. My good friend's divorce has recently become final and her parents have a time share there. We've been talking about a possible girls trip. RE: your trip....I say leave your 4 with the three 17-25 year old cousins.

PJ....Your old hair does look like a shampoo commercial! It's gorgeous! But it's funny because whenever I see you in pictures, I always though of you more as a blond?

Wendee.....Do you really need 5 bedrooms? Couldn't Riley and Dallen bunk together for a while? Jordan's not going to be living with you forever. Hopefully. What does Jordan think about the move anyway? Doesn't he have a serious girlfriend? Remember to get a house with a basement!

Marita....Your Disney career almost ended over the loss of a KEY?? Can you pick up 4 half price tickets for a Sept. Cirque show???

It's COLD down here too! And I'm helping with Field Day. Luckily I have the afternoon shift, so hopefully it will be warmer. We were at the Ball Field when the cold front blew through. AND I mean BLEW HARD. We all ended up with dust and pollen in our eyes and noses. YUCK!

Oh, would Saturday be Cinco de Mayo, Ms. Lex? (duh - that's the 5th )

Oh, and thanks for all the hugs and well wishes. Things are looking up, but still not all ironed out. At least they did finally reschedule so that I didn't have to totally reschedule my day, that I already had plans for. Family!

There are no pig farms near where we are going. But there is a feed lot. About 5 acres of cow feed, cows, and cow manure. But folks say that you can only smell it when the wind is blowing really hard.

Lisa is worn out starting a new home business. She's selling jewelry. In the month of April she had 10 shows. They are keeping her hopping.

It rained hard all night and it is still raining this morning......Megara had to go potty so bad that she had no problems running out into the rain .......all I had to do was get a towel and wipe her down before she had her breakfast.....

Tomorrow is the day for mama to be buried.......I know I keep saying this but it is hard even after her being gone almost five months......I do miss my two mamas....We have to do alot of flower buying to get on MIL's grave and then mamas too before we leave.....Mothers day will be upon us and my Mils first year being away from us....I miss them both

I think this is a really sucky time to move. Can't sell your house at all! 2 houses on my street have been on the market for at least 9 months, and they are not that expensive either (remember, this is still my starter home here, although it was new at the time) They have both been reduced too.
They had an article in the paper today about people just walking away from their homes.

Debbie Downer! Just kidding. Although we'd take a hit in selling our house now, the homes I've looked at, we may also score for less and still make out ahead. Only a few have knocked my socks off...all in Collierville, Germantown or Bartlett. Freakin' beautiful there. (bracing myself for the inevitable bashing)

Funny GF story!

Sandy!! What nice things to say about me!! At least someone appreciates me. Yes, I donated my hair last February. It was the first time I ever cut my hair. Well, it had been trimmed, of course, but never cut. Anyway, I didn't enjoy the experience. I like my hair. Something about cutting it off felt wIerd. I know I sound crazy for saying that, but I can't explain it.

I'm assuming you donated to Locks of Love? When I did hair, I used to ponytail their hair off first, cut it off and send it to them . It's a HUGE blessing for young girls with cancer or leukemia needing a wig. You did good, Peej!

Jordan is excited now, but at first he was digging in his heels. I said we'd have to take Sara (future DIL) which I don't know how I feel about now. They are 19 and still students. I just am not wanting them to "play house" yet. He's JUST A BABY!
