Morning. It poured through the night. I actually see a break in the clouds. Hope the rain goes away. Taking Zach and my BFF's son to the Tiger game tonight. She's watching my 2 dd's.

Busy day ahead, I probably won't be around much.

I saw that on the View yesterday Marita. They said it you eat a hearty breakfast you have a better chance of having a boy....can't see how that would make a difference

Always thought the gender had to do with the male anyway.

Moo-- you have knobs and handles? I think I want to go all handles but not sure. I had all knobs last time. They are very expensive to replace too. I did when we moved into this house.

Marita -- cool your dd get to travel.

Rob-- Just don't sit at the back or on the wheel wells ( which I always seem to get so my feet have no where to go). Do you lead the kids in song as well. 99 bottles of beer on the bus....

Have fun Rob - as you well know, its the memories that count, life is short, and its a blessing to share these moments with our kids...

about the gender thing... My 'aunt' (2yrs older than me) my cousin (2 yrs younger than me - so we were a total team back in the day!!lol) they both had 4 boys - and I had 2 boys - so we do "boys" real goog here!! There was this book on how to increase your chances of having a ______ cousin bought it and talked to her ob - well he ran some tests and told her - her environment killed the girls - roflol (and I forget the terminology - but that book did explain it - was it to vinegarry or acidy.. etc She was considering have the test tube spin - but due to her "environment" the ob thought shed still get a boy!!)

DTD: I am sooooooo going on the Mammoth Cave extra special thingy tour. I think I will qualify for under 5'8" as long as I dont wear my heels to go spelunking. Poor dh. He doesnt fit the requirements for the height or the weight. The kids and I will wave at him as we descend into the darkness. hee hee. "Cereally" I would love to go. Sounds awesome.

Speaking of weight, on The View today, they were discussing some dishes and their calories:
Outback Steakhouse Blooming Onion - 2,310 calories
Grand Taco Salad - 1,450 calories
Personal pan pizza from Pizzaria Uno - 2300 calories
Grande iced latte from Starbucsks - 130 calories (they lightly sweeten it unless you tell them not to)

w00t on on working till 2pm. I am enjoying my day off, and reading up on the CB.

Since hardly anybody is posting today for my entertainment when I can actually read durin the day

I volunteered to cook today for my DS before he flies the coop in a week but he is too busy with his friends. So we are on for Sunday dinner of cabbage roll.
God give me strength!!! Parboil the cabbage, cut off leaves, cut off the big ribs, parboil the leaves some more, cut onions, make the meat mixture, roll them up, brown them, make gravy, peel and boil potatoes. I am tired just thinking about it.

Note how I'm doing the toy story mania preview before Cheryl gets there - cuz I wouldn't want her to feel left out.

And I'm going to try to find a paintbrush this time!
but I'm not going to touch it - maybe I'll get to point a family in the right direction.
(who am I kidding? I won't be able to find it. I suck at that stuff! I was always the worst easter egg hunter)

and I'm going to redo my "Let's visit all the fast attractions at AK in one hour!"

Paint brushes are not that hard to find. The first raft goes at 10:00.

We found all the brushes the first time but only took one. We did point in the right direction to other little kids.
