GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Mimi leaves for NYC today for the senior trip. This is state testing week and the seniors do not have to participate so that's why they take them during this week. It keeps them out of trouble!

They'll stay at a nice hotel in Times Square and see all the tourist sites and museums. They're going on a dinner cruise tomorrow. Should be a memorable trip. Looks like they're gonna have great weather too. OH! And they'll be outside the Today's Show on Wednesday morning!

Marita....w00t on 6,000!!! I'm sad I missed the pictures.

Moo....It's not that I don't like the Disney buses but we plan to go to the water parks and also to the resorts for dinner and a car just makes it so much faster and easier. (I hate those combined-stop buses.) I'll have to talk to DSIL. If we could get a deal for $150/wk I'll probably get a car. I'm subscribed to the National codes thread and those people are getting great deals, bypassing the counter and picking out their own car.

Wendee.....16 pounds now! Hooch is evil! Did you see the new video on the Twilight thread? I love that thread! Thanks for starting it!

NAB, Lynt, Rob
.......:wave2:

HAVE A WONDERFUL MONDAY!

Lex Trivia Goddess: I played, and you always beat me. :goodvibes

Wendy Skinnie Minnie Goddess: You ROCK!

Moo Hot Tub Goddess: I'm jealous!

NAB Kitchen Remodel Goddess: You are so gonna love it when it done! It will all be worth EVERYTHING. Trust me.

Poly Lost and Found Goddess: Hi I'm Monica. Nice to meet you.

Rob God or Goddess?: Morning. I love Baseball. Tigers are frustrating me tough. Taking my kids to a game on Friday, they better win.

Marita 6,0000 post Goddess: Congrats you posting freak! :lmao:

Allie the Running Goddess: Your phone story cracked me up. When's the next race?

Cel the sewing Goddess: The dress is looking good. What makes taking pictures easier in the tub?

All my other fun loving God's and Goddesses. Morning! (Don't ask. I am in much better spirits when I am exercising and lossing weight. Get used to it.)

Hi Monica ! Nice to meet you too:)
TriviaNerds was stinky today. I'm off to try the other trivia game I play.

Hello my edumacation sistah. Long time no see! (It's tough to be famous, aint it?)

Hi to the rest of the moovers. How is everybody? We decided to make a very spur of the moment trip to West Virginia this weekend.

My gpa who has been in very poor health for the last month or so, seems to be declining even further with each passing day. I didnt want to regret not seeing him one last time, so we loaded up the kids and my mom (it's her dad) and took a very brief trip to see him again.

Luckily, he was able to recognize us and was able to talk with us for a few minutes, but he is so weak that even talking wears him out. He looks nothing like he used to, so it was very difficult seeing him that way.

It's hard to look back at pictures and see him when he was so young and full of life. My mom showed me a picture of when he was in the Navy. He joined the Navy when he was 17, they sent him somewhere in Europe (I cant recall where, but it was during WWII) and they somehow found out he was only 17, so they sent him back. The day he turned 18 he went right back into the Navy and they shipped him out again. He just wanted to do his part, ya know?

And when my mom was about my dd's age, my mom's mom left the family. She just decided to walk out one day and left my gpa alone to raise 6 kids. (They had 7, but one of my mom's brothers passed away when he was only 9 months old) Anyway, he tried his best to raise those kids (ranging in age from 2-15) by himself. They were dirt poor and they definitely didnt have the resources you do now. There was no Mr. Mom's and Daddy Daycares then. You just did what you had to do. I know he made mistakes, but at least he tried. At least he didnt give up and walk out on all those kids, which would have been the easy way out.

I didnt mean to ramble. I am very good at doing that type of thing. A good friend of mine told me that remembering the good things helps get you through, so that's what I plan to do. He was the only grandfather I ever knew, and I am glad he stuck around all those years ago. He truly was a man among men.

E- glad you got to see your grandpa. That is a neat story about his underage navy adventures. Did you see the Rick Shroeder film about that?
Wendee- Congrats on living the hoochfree lifestyle.
Marita- Congrats on 6K! I missed the picture but I know your family is all cute as a button.
Monica- Thanks for the early morning smile.

E -- What a wonderful tribute to your grandfather. I'm also glad you got to see him.

  That brought a lump to my throat E. Always remember the good times and remember how much he loved his family. That's the most important gift we can give one another.

 Well, the addition of a girl to the house would be different, that's true, but your boys would fit right in. We could try it over the summer vacation school break and see how it goes.

IF you change to Pepsi decor and keep the outside humidity to 10% or under :headache: :rolleyes1
We MAY not have to resort to this as it promises to be Spring soon here. Thanks though. popcorn::

Thanks! I have new collar bones now! ;)
I love that thread too!!! I'll have to go check out any new additions!
I have a major crush on Edward. :cool2:

MiMi is all grow'd up now!!! I'll be sure to look for her on the sidelines of the Today show. ACK! That must be hard to let her go (remembering MY senior trip  )

Wendy Skinnie Minnie Goddess: You ROCK!

All my other fun loving God's and Goddesses. Morning! (Don't ask. I am in much better spirits when I am exercising and lossing weight. Get used to it.)
THANK YOU! I love being a Goddess of something!
YOU are looking fabulous yourself!

Wendee- Congrats on living the hoochfree lifestyle.
Not fully Hooch Free...one can in the morning. But working on it. DH was impressed at the money we're saving by not spending $5.00 pr day on Hooch. He even commented that the money saved could go toward a WDW trip someday. I won't tell him about the $$$ on bottled fancy-pants-water and iced soy sugarfree Latte's I've been buying instead....:sad2:

BabyNurse-
 What a huge blessing!!!!!

Hi Poly!!!

DD learned to climb our evergreen tree...

DH is busy on his laptop writing proposals for work jobs - he may have 3 so he doesnt share his laptop with me!

I've been reading a book a day! (racy romances - set back in time all have happy endings...) Tried to read a murder mystery - scared me so much at night - I dreamt I had to swallow a snake!! :scared1: Been bored to tears... too much tv time (any thing you want to know - I'm there!! Bachelor tonight! lol)

its just the same old same old with me... and I'm getting closer to that "Over the Hill" tag - dh wants to go to WDW this fall - I'm resisting - if you can believe that!! We have a wedding - a graduation - I'd love to but am trying to be practical - esp since we didnt earn a refund from taxes!

Hello....its me.

What a day it is here in Maine...sun is out but it is a mite chilly here.......after having two days of wearing short sleeves and shorts...it is cold again......Maine does that to you.

The kids are out of school this week so I have two kids ....one will leave at one and one will leave at two thirty.......I can deal with that......makes a long week after not having kiddos except after school a few times a week......Got asked if I wanted to have a newborn and I (cant believe I said this but) said NO thank you.......I dont want to be stuck in the house anymore.......and babies I would be standing over watching to see if they are still breathing.....you know my last baby is just 5 now.....and goes to school full time......I may have him this summer......dont know yet........I like dump and runs better.......

Told the kids we will have hot dogs and hamburgs and some corn on the cob....that sounds good to me

Goodness gracious! I leave you people alone for a weekend and I have waaaay too much to catch up on!
First of all, I saw this shirt yesterday at Books a Million. It's actually a Jesus shirt, but it reminded me of my favorite zip it people. tee hee.

Now for my comments. Who knows if all of them quoted. If I missed you, I'm sorry.

Welcome back to our lost Moovers! Hi Sandy and Poly! You were missed!

cel...don't worry bout the bbn clan, I don't find them overwhelming. Then again, I have been told by more than one person that I am overwhelming so maybe overwhelming people just aren't easily overwhelmed. Now are you overwhelmed?
And I think I'll be in Nashville next weekend but details are still being worked out.
As long as I've had an energy drink (or thirty) and could keep up with you, I don't think you'd overwhelm me.
And the twinkie clan wouldn't because there's only one potential sassy youngin (Twink's oldest DS is at that age. Heck, he already thinks I'm old! ha.).
But at mamacan'tfindya, there seems to be the possibility of one billion sassy kids! THAT's the overwhelming part. I love sassy kids, but I want to get to know them one at a time to appreciate their sassiness.

Wanna have a meet this weekend? :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Oh, and what could be worse than the Supergirl one? That thing skeers me silly! :scared1:
Don't ask! I would PM it to you, but I wouldn't want your husband to get the wrong idea.
Both participants are fully clothed, it's just scary!

took a shower and burned my three fingers on my left hand
I thought you burned your fingers IN the shower at first - I was like Dang! She likes a HOT shower! :rotfl:

No kids allowed at this wedding.

That makes me  !!!! Kids are the best part of a wedding! Otherwise it's boring! Unless there's lots of alcohol. But still! Kids are good!

Whenever all my mom's grandchildren are together at my house, I try to get them to sit on the stairs in our entry in the same spots so we can keep track of their growth. It's cool to see from, say, one Thanksgiving to the next how the kids have changed. *sigh*
We did this growing up! It's a great memory.
The year before my grandmother died, all of us grandkids plus great grandkids went and had a portrait done together for her. :cloud9:

Next thing we knew, Jasper had scrambled up on the edge of the tub, then was in the water!!! :rotfl2:
Oh my goodness gracious! Too funny! :rotfl:

Love that dress! You ARE a skinny minnie, missy! Did you sew that yourself? I'm impressed.
Thank you! Yes, I sewed it all by myself! princess:

Allie -- P.j. is the beautifull one .....Her sister is the one next to her in the red. ( she is a princess in the white dress)
Awww! That's so sweet, nab! I hope PJ sees it.

Marita.....Is that Goodings in the plaza that's right across the road from the turn in to the DTD hotel area? Right off I-4? We're staying at POR. I really would like to have a rental car. I know my way around the property well enough and we drove everywhere last year. Not sure I can function w/out one. Anyway, it would allow us a trip to the grocery. I guess it'd be cheaper to order Garden Grocer and ride the bus.
Celery....You're dress is awesome. Now what are you going to do for curtains?

If you get a car, just go to the super walmart near downtown disney. It's cheap plus they have great souveniers for cheap too!

and Ha! on the curtains. Hee. The material was all $1 a yard at wal mart.

We just finished watching the John Adams series on HBO -- it was wonderfully done, but the last episode was especially sad. Did you know that John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on the same day, 50 years after the Declaration of Independence was signed?

I really liked the last few episodes too. Breadman has been watching it from the beginning, so I got suckered into paying attention.

Cel the sewing Goddess: The dress is looking good. What makes taking pictures easier in the tub?

Thank you! Glad you're feeling peppy! The tub is the only place that gets good light at that time of day. Plus with the mirror, I can see what I'm doing.

 to babycow. Your grandfather sounds like an incredible man.

Good morning, MOOvers. I am home from work (again!) today, since I awoke to the sound of Natasha beurking at 6:15 this morning. Thankfully, she made it to the bathroom first! She has continued to beurk at least once an hour since then. She's sleeping on the couch beside me now. Happy freakin April vacation! Poor baby. :sad2:

I suppose it's okay that I stayed home today, since today is the Boston Marathon, and that always wonks up traffic for the entire day. (Trying to find the bright side, y'know?)

ETA: E, I'm so sorry that your g-pa is not well. But it is wonderful that you got to see him, even if only briefly. He sounds like quite a man. I'll add him to my prayers.

testing...

Sandy! Soooo good to see you. I'm glad you are ok. Thanks for stopping in and filling us in.

Just returning the favor Twinks. I wanted to put you in there, but I didn't see you post much over the weekend. Tomorrow I'll catch ya!

Lynt: One of my daycare darlings right after breakfast beurked 4 times. The first all over her shoes she was carrying to put on. Second, all over herself, third all over us, and the fourth, which was very little, in the toilet.

Happy Monday!

Beurk update: Natasha slept for about 90 minutes, and woke up asking for a snack. We're going to start with sips of room temperature water and see if that stays down. Please cross all appropriate appendages.

How's your daycare buddy now, Mo? Did you send her home?

Oh, and you DO know it's your turn, right? ;)

hey, hey, HEY! That's my job.;) Although, I do realize, I havent exactly been my usual self of late. However, I would just like to share with you that I am one million percent better.

I'm in a good place now. I think it helped that I went to see my gpa. Thanks to everybody for all your kind words. I really, really do appreciate them.

PJ: This song really stood out to me today when I heard it on the radio. Who sings it? I know that you know that I know that you know.

It's so easy to get lost inside
a problem that seems so big at the time
it's like a river thats so wide
it swallows you whole
While you sit around thinking about what you can't change
and worrying about all the wrong things
time's flying by
moving so fast
you better make it count 'cause you can't get it back

Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand
What you've been up there searching for
forever is in your hands
When you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else
Seem so small

Poly: A LIKELY STORY!!! "forgetting your famous" Quit trying to pull the proverbial wool over our eyes. ;)

Sandy:  haven't seen you in a blue moon either. Good to "hear" from ya.

It is a beeyouteeful day here. I took a nice long walk outside. And I ran to the kids school, b/c I discovered a paper one of the kids had to have signed and turned in today, and then I went shopping for just a few minutes. for *gasp* Girl Clothes! What's the world coming to??? But before you think I've gone completely insane, I stopped at the sporting goods store and bought the redhead a new baseball glove. whew. that was a close one.

1. Just subbing for ya, nursey. Cuz that's the kind of excellent friend/superior stalker I am. Don't mention it. ;)

2. Duh. Carrie Underwood. Who doesn't know that you know that Peej knows that????

3. Hey! What have you done with the REAL BNCG?????

Speaking of telling the truth. That reminded me of that game show "To Tell the Truth"

Will the REAL bncg please stand up?

It's really me. I promise. I wouldnt joke about such a serious matter. Ok, I would, but I'm not.

That's a sucky Haiku Celery. ;)
