Have ya' heard about "talking". It's much cheaper. :lmao:

Oh and my last day in the 30's is going well. Thanks for asking Melinda. :rolleyes1

I did read the last page, and CEL you should have ordered in something really great, had it delivered and made them all jealous. ;)

1. But that's why God invented unlimited text! ;)
2. Happy last day in your thirties! Woo!
3. I brought back atlanta bread company and sent Twinkie's comment to them in email.
they were chastised. :snooty:

posting giselle pics soonish.
humor me.

I like how your big year with no trip is shaping up Utah. :lmao:

So do people dress up at the Pirate/Princess party? cause that sounds fun. So does the Halloween party.

However my mythical trip would be MVMCP season... any thoughts on that? that doesn't have costumes does it?

You may have been asking Breezy but the Rob Family has done MVMCP twice -- once in 1997 and once in 2006. No costumes either time that I saw. Go early in the MVMCP season if you can to avoid the big Christmas crowds. In 2006, to give you an idea of crowd size, DS12 (then DS11) and I were able to ride Soarin' twice in a row without requeueing, in fact without even leaving the ride area.

Yes, people dress up at the P&P parties as our very own Peej can attest to.

I was asking anyone. But I am confused.

MVMCP at WDW right? it is in the MK right?

are you saying the party was crowded so Epcot was dead? or there were low crowds at the park in general? or at the party?

How old were your kids? My other concern is that the littles just don't have the stamina to Get Our Monies Worth out of the hard ticketed parties.

I think sprint is censoring my giselle dress!

which makes no sense (considering what I've sent before.).

I needed four angels to counteract the evileness that time.
tee.
hee.

sure! if you want an imperfect giselle dress in a size "She's really a 14 but still makes everything in an 18 because she can't grasp that," I'll send it on.
Otherwise, send me your size and I'll try.

MVMCP at WDW. Yes, it is in the MK and the MK only.

I meant the crowds in general that week were low. One thing I noticed in 2006 was it seemed to me, at least during the early hours of MVMCP, that the crowd size at MVMCP was about the same that it was in the MK during the daytime. (In 1997, a long time ago, the crowd size at MVMCP was noticeably smaller.)

My kids in 2006 were 5, 8, 11, and 14. From the MVMCP, the 5 and 8 year olds did go back earlyish (10 to 10:30 maybe?) with their grandparents, the 14 year old went back around 11 to 11:30 with his mom, and DS11 and I closed the park down. (But then DS11 and I always closed whichever park was open the latest on any given day down, usually getting back to the room around 2am which is a late, late hour in December. And we made every rope drop the next morning also.)

alright. here's the rough draft.
I'm holding the underskirt (pink and white part) because I haven't finished them.

Wow Celery you are a skinny Minnie!!

How long is that dress going to be? Looks pretty big on you like you said. Great job though.

You better get cracking on those Star War wedding dresses....:lmao:

DUCK!!!!

We're going to DL in October too!!!!

When are ya goin'? We don't have a date yet so I'd love to "ruin" your vacation by meeting up with you!!!!! ((disclaimer: ALL of us, not just me)) :rotfl:

Dinner? Jungle Cruise? Dole Whip? Halloween Party? Pleeeease? :flower3:

The only PS I'm for sure planning is Blue Bayou. Open to other suggestions, though. And yo WILL try to take over JC won't you? I don't do Dole Whips, yecch!! of pineapple, and I want to do a Halloween party, just haven't told the guys yet.

Parties are at MK. I think RobIn meant early December is s-l-o-w. Dress for MNSSHP and P&P, but not for MVMCP, although if I ever make it, I have a Donald Duck Sweatshirt in Santa hat saying BAH! Either that, or a tshirt with Santa's sled draped over an outhouse saying I said the Schmidt house.

Hi Nab!

DTD:rotfl: thanks for the info.... those poor Schmidt kids...

Hi Twinkie !!

Did you get your nap....I am thinking no.

Yes, although, even more specifically, there's a certain timeframe that MVMCP runs and I'm not sure it's those very first days of December (might be though).

In 2006, we were there from 12/12 to 12/16. I know because I still carry my KTTW card in my wallet. (Hmmm, maybe I am loserish. :upsidedow )

My understanding is that there is also the dreaded Pop Warner week in early December sometime. I don't know that they had it (Pop Warner week, that is) back in 1997 and we missed it in 2006.

donald - thanks. what about the schmidts? my mom is a schmidt by birth.

thanks for all the compliments. I still feel fat, but we'll see.

First Christmas party this year is Nov 10. They make a bundle off those parties, so they've increased the time frame each year. Three years ago, the first Halloween party was the end of Sept, this year is around the 6th. And P&P pops up all year.

Hello, freaks, creeps, and moovers. Is that a nice way to greet one's friends?

I ran my first field trip today. I don't know if I ever mentioned this, but since spring break I have taken over the classroom. (that sounds kinda funny). I just mean at this point in the student teaching process the little buggers are all mine. My teacher just sits back and watches. Today we went to see the play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Aside from one pants wetting incident and one use of an expletive by a small child there were no major issues. Woot....first running of field trip was a success.

Twink...I could write you a novel of a post, my friend. Sorry you didn't get any sleep last night. Yuck. And sorry about the sick kiddos. Hope they're feeling better-ish soon. And you don't text the pope, you call him. Duh. Everyone knows that. Especially me. Because the pope is my boo, remember?

Re: Pirate and Princess Party. It is AWESOME!!!!! Most adults didn't have costumes or just had on a pirate shirt or a tiara or something. All of the kids were dressed up, though. Which I guess is why my group was dressed up. Here we all are:

castlecloseup.jpg

Yes, Eren and I are making goog use of old ballet costumes. :rolleyes1 Hollywood is of course the red-headed wench from PotC. Looking for that picture made me want to cut my hair again. That was over a year ago and it's long now.

Marita...I meant to post this last night because I read your post before going to bed but I guess I got distracted. Anyway, congrats to your DS again. :cheer2:

Lexi...9 hours of sleep? :faint: My oh my.

BBN...Oh, I thought we decided you and I weren't a couple which is why I went for VFR rather than BCWW. Hee hee hee. So, here's a BCWW for ya. Hope the sun starts peeking through the clouds at sunnybrook sooner rather than later. You will continue to be in my prayers.
Also, as a general note to all, the bbn is correct, Rob earned that nickname fair and square. Nice, sweet people like Elisabeth and I don't just go around calling people Creepy McCreepster for nothin.

Cel...how ya feelin? When I live in Nashville next year and your co-workers ditch you at lunch you can come eat in my classroom with me. And if it's not our lunch time you can still come and sit with some of my "special friends." ;)

Allie...glad you had a nice trip. And I have to second the fact that the kids were texting because they didn't want adults to hear what they were saying.

Heigh ho, heigh ho, it's off to the gym I go. Who can name that movie quote?

P.J-- That little girl in the background is too funny. She looks in shock!! Way to go on your first field trip. :woohoo:

I must say I am tried of looking at this mess around here. With the weather so nice I want to go out. But I must be here for Ron, the kitchen guy . Who has a baby girl 6 weeks and lesbian sister who just lost a baby to SIDS and are trying again , and lives an hour or more to come every morning.I think I know every job he had etc. Can you tell I keep him company.....:lmao:

hello out there.......those photos are wonderful......first off Cel with her newest creations.......and you are looking mighty good young lady..

the dress up photos are great too....we did the Christmas Party a few times and hubby has a beard about that time of the year.......so with his santa hat on ...kids would go by and say......theres santa.....kids would break their necks trying to see him......then the parade went by with the reindeer and one of them came over and said hey what are you doing here....you need to be elsewhere.....kids were a gog and older KIDS were laughing ......we had a great time......then at the Halloween party...hubby and i trick or treated.......we had a blast....

MY, OH MY, what a bunch of early birds around here today!!!

Moo- Once again you have given me nothing that I can safely comment upon :rolleyes1
I can only assume that you are referring to my comment about the stinky exercise bike seat . . . just to clarify, TMbbn, it smells like coal tar/rubber/yucky chemicals!!! I'm about ready to see if one of those automotive reupholstery places can figure out how to fit a replacement cushion on it!

Sorry to hear about the wucketiness and your Sleepless in the Prairie night :grouphug:

Sorry Moo! It's true. I ate supper at 10:00 last night and then was in bed at 10:30. Of course, then I got up at 3:30ish this morning because I ate a full meal right before bed time and went to bed early.
OK, OK, you're forgiven, Rob!

I'm trying the two protein shakes plus one meal and a small snack plan. So far, so goog :) I've been making some pretty tasty smoothies in my new blender.

We had a great trip.

Oh and my last day in the 30's is going well. Thanks for asking Melinda. :rolleyes1

I am the lunch ordering, retrieving girl at work, and I WOULD have included you in my order.

Although, I think all said coworkers will be dressed in BLACK tomorrow, and I plan to wear the brightest clothing I can, just to offset all the black.
Allie, glad you had a goog trip except for the traffic!

Happy 39 and holding . . . . . . . . . . . . :goodvibes

I often do the lunch ordering and retrieving for my project team. Fortunately, we do take turns to some extent. It was nice to get out of the office for a few minutes today because it was 70ish!!!

So do people dress up at the Pirate/Princess party? cause that sounds fun. So does the Halloween party.

However my mythical trip would be MVMCP season... any thoughts on that? that doesn't have costumes does it?
I am probably going to just wear a Pirate-y t-shirt or maybe buy some pirate ears. PJ and friends look fabulous! :thumbsup2

Cel, you and your dress are both looking GREAT!!! princess:

I have never been to the MVMCP, but when I went for New Years last year, there were still a LOT of people wearing holiday stuff.

Someone (bbn? PJ? Rob??) needs to fill others of us in on the nickname backstories! :rolleyes1

bbn, I had a second Lasik too! But just on one of my eyes to bring the vision back up for distance. But I still have to wear distance glasses for driving, etc. because my eyes just really, really want to be nearsighted. At least I can usually get by most of the rest of the time without wearing glasses.

Nabbie, those must be some interesting stories you're hearing from your contractor!

Marita, I feel your pain  I have a crappy all day meeting to attend tomorrow. At least my meeting today got canceled.

Hi to everyone else :flower3:
