They gave all the volunteers today an potted plant for outside. Just beautiful. Now I have to try hard not to kill it. I don't do well with one's in pots because that means they are on my porch and I forget to water them...

The heat is down today but the rain is looming over us without dropping yet. Probably drop as I am going out to get the kids.

Must be summer it is so quiet here....My summer doesn't start for a few weeks yet. We have two projects this week. One a musical instrument to make and a family tree project due on Friday.

Nabbie, I hear you on the watering plant thing. I only have 2 live plants. 1 Ivy thingy in the house and 1 flower basket by the front door (outside). Only reason they still live is because DH waters them.... I have killed every other plant I ever owned.

I have some nice silk flowers though

I'll wait for my mom to chime in (she ran a daycare for years then had her own for 13), but I can't believe the nerve of those parents!

Mony- it's got to start looking up. I've been in 4 tornadoes, including eating in a restaurant that got hit, destroyed one of the other(empty) dining rooms and one that knocked a chemical truck right behind me into a wall. But I've never really been inconvenienced by one.
Pumba- prayers being sent up. What makes the muskrat guard his musk? Courage!
BTW, the reference no one wanted(Wheat Germin' Vernon) was by Bull(of Night Court) on a guest appearance on My Two Dads, where a serial killer named Burnin' Vernon had threatened the judge. Seems WGV was his brother.
One more day till TWO DAYS OFF. I can't wait. And I've set myself up for an EPLS day tomorrow.

I need some magic... just too much family drama... and its all my fault. I'm tired of crying, "cant we all just get along" (my dad/mom didnt want to travel 1 hour for dad's sisters youngest sons wedding next month - my dad is the family "Patriarch" I had to remind him - mom said they'd go IF and ONLY IF I made up with my brother - and we were to talk... its been maybe 5 years!! I just thought giving my brother his space was a goog thing!! My faux paux? I didnt get on a plane to go to my grandma's funeral... why? It was too d* painful, and still is for me!

Thanks for letting me get that out, it helps to see it in print... ridiculous! I mailed him a card (that sings "Day by Day" and said "I miss my brother") I plan on calling him in 2 days.

I'm really a nice person.
