Nabbie, glad to hear you're back home. Just take things slow! Grief is a sneaky thing, as I'm sure you know, so just plan on getting through one day at a time for a while

My aunt who had the bypass surgery is at a rehab center still, I think. We're not very close any more

And we had my uncle's memorial service last Saturday, a month after his passing. It was great to see my cousins. It had been a while since I'd seen some of them...
We have a LOT of summer birthdays in my family, so we've had some really nice meals out

We have another on Monday night! My youngest sister and I went "up north" in early July and had a nice time going wine tasting for a couple days. The weather has been great lately, but we have a bumper crop of mosquitoes, so I haven't spent a lot of time outside. However, we did recently replace the water in our hot tub and I got it balanced so my skin can finally tolerate it again!!!
My favorite series of books has been made into a new cable TV series on Starz called Outlander. Check it out if you get the chance

It starts later in Canada than in the US.
