Nope not booze......it is the man doll that went with pocahontas .....our granddaughter had both of them.......now we are talking a regular size Ken and barbie size.....so he has a purple eagle tattoo on his chest and if you rub it .it turns blue......so my husband and granddaughter wanted to see if it changed when it freezes.......and yes my family is slightly off the rocker

Allie - I can see your photos now. The decorations and costumes were fabulous!!! Also loved the photos of your DD.

I hear you on the feeling jealous seeing your DS's friends' prom photos. I used to feel like I was missing out after my DD dropped out of band after her sophomore year. I continued going to some of the band events and wished she was still participating, but I still enjoyed seeing her friends perform. That was back in the pre-FB days, LOL!

Housecleaning update: Well, the living room and dining room are mostly decluttered. I've been debating about vacuuming and dusting. I think that will wait until later in the week because I don't want to have to redo it

Cel, you both looked maaavelous..... thanks for the pics

Nab, I get the acryllc nails, so that takes forever with nothing to do, to me it's agony (I get it IS a luxury, though). Now a pedicure, THAT is pure enjoyment and pampering :goodvibes

Moo, congrats on the housecleaning progress.

It's another gray, dreary, rainy sunday here, back down to the low 70's for 3 days... It just doesnt want to warm up this year and stay there. One of those days I really, really don't want to go in, but I had to. I just got back a little while ago from picking up my suits from the seamstress. Total damage was $96, but they really needed it. So now I can look spiffy for hosting the analysist meeting this week
Speaking of procrastination, I have been putting off doing the taxes, i hate doing them.... but hubby is bugging me about it, so I better do it. Just hope we don't have to pay an arm and a leg  I'd rather be working on my fun work project...

Ok, all photos are published now. Including Trixie's crate cover. *cough* MommyP *cough* I sent the 'share" link to Pumba, so hopefully she can see them too.

the photos were awesome........thanks so much for sending me the way to the pictures......

So we went to Beans and Reebok in Freeport....I love to live near LL beans......it is just a hop skip and a jump..actually 25 minutes.....we like to just take a drive down there and visit all the stores... We got three pair of sneakers at Reeboks and it was buy two and get one free......so I got the free pair and hubby got two......I like my old ones so I didnt want two .......I do think my feet spread because I am a half of a size larger.....those crocs and birks did me in..
See ya later gators

Moo - Don't know why you can't see them either, except that I didn't "publish" it in my feed since I am not done editing yet, or tagging for that matter. :confused3 They have so many schools and only one place to have the proms, so somebody has to go early. He really doesn't seem bothered that he missed it. He played XBOX all night. I just feel like his missing out on part of his high school experience. It really is more of a problem with ME, than with him. :headache: I've been on his FB and seen all the kids pics, and I guess I'm a little jealous. I really have GOT to get over this. Actually he is really shy, and has never been on a date, and don't know that he has ever danced, so he may have been too nervous to go through all of that. :confused3 He won't say.

I will trade you I have a dancing social butterfly who is way to social with the girls.

Actually he has been grounded for two weeks now for coming in late and his father having to go look for him. He has been so different and calm with out the internet , and his phone to text. He has been playing road hockey and his X box ( not internet on that ). He did ask this morning how long he grounded for since we ddin't give a time. I really want to say forever!

Allie, great pics! Looks like a good time was had by all.

Well, I finished the dreaded taxes. $889 due to Uncle Sam, UGHHH! Every year I swear I will increase my weekly deduction, and every year I never get around to it. :rolleyes1

Now on to take a shower and do some laundry and get something for dinner...

Geez...I knew it was too calm around here. I just busted Nicholas on Facebook, no internet remember. He went on this morning at church of all places. :sad2: He runs the computer/projector at one of the masses. We don't get there until a half hour after that mass for the next one. Lots of free time on his hands.

Anyway if he would have left it at telling his friends he was ground and was not ingoring them would have been fine but he played on there as well. So now we have him stomping around, wouldn't eat dinner etc. We just told him what he did was wrong and it all started up again. I am going to be old before my time.

:hug::hug::hug::hug:

Cel: Loved the pics!

Nab: Teenagers! ACK! Hang in there.

Everybody:

As part of everybodee, I send a big HI back to all y'all.

Today's mail was fun and ironic.
Fun- new pink sling so I can carry around my own personal princess. :cutie:

Ironic- post cards inviting me to both "check out the new Bay Lake Tower at DVC" and "how to find a good bankruptcy lawyer" .... maybe that isn't ironic but more realisitic?? hmmm....

Twinkie and Babynurse in one day....they must be twins. :lmao:

At least Nicholas is much calmer today. We just started his grounding all over again and told him it will now be another 2 weeks now. See what happens. Did not budge one bit last night and he was like a two year old trying to get our attention because we ignored him the whole time. That was really hard for me to do too because I am sure we could have got into a yelling match for sure.

The sun is shining today , suppose to get up pretty high by the weekend too.:woohoo:

Got my food shopping done today instead of the end of the week. Turkey, cranberries etc. all set. Still have to fill those darn plastic eggs for then to hunt. Short week so I better get my butt in gear.

Allie - to get the pics off facebook, right click on them, click properties then highlight the web address that starts with "http".
Copy it then come over here, click the picture of a picture (mountain) and paste the link in the window that pops up.

Waiting on moxie to get here!

Nabbers hang in there!

Twink - Yay for the new girly sling from MommyP!

Hi, bbn! Goog to see you

MommyP - Hope the AP rate info is helpful :goodvibes

Nabbie - I second the "hang in there" sentiment regarding naughty Nicholas!!!

I told my friend Debbie that I'd ask you which team you're rooting for on Amazing Race. Sorry if you mentioned it on here before and it went over my head!

Housecleaning Update: Waahhhhh!!! Still lots to do. I've decided to take a vacation day tomorrow to vacuum and dust (yes, it will take me that long) so I can quit stressing out about it and get it done while hubby's not here! I'm going to see how much I can accomplish tonight in the dining room and my bathroom. I am moving the stereo system to my bedroom so I can move some photos from the mantle to the desk and put a candleholder on the mantle so it looks less cluttered. The recumbent exercise bike in front of the fireplace kind of detracts from the whole look I'm going for, but I don't have an alternate place to put it right now.

new doctor was good I guess as far as doctors go....She took a good hour going over all my records and I ended up with a blood test in both arms cause the blood sucker couldnt do it on the arm that is always blood happy....so I have two big boo boos on both arms and then a tetnus shot on my upper arm...I am happy with that one cause it didnt hurt...she was going to send me for an ekg but I had one and she couldnt find it on her records.

then went shopping with dil and granddaughter and out to eat.....had a great rainy day

Pumba-- I hate to tell you but that tetnus shot is going to hurt tomorrow, or even for a few days. Hope all your blood work comes back good.

Celery-- you will have to post a picture of Moxie. Congrats.

Moo-- I hear you on the dusting. I hate it and the darn stuff comes right back too. :lmao: What day is your dd coming home this weekend?

I am rooting for the Cowboys, I couldn't believe what they did on the last show almost got booted off because of it.. But they all made mistakes. Also would like to see the daughter/father team in there too followed by the cops.

Thanks for all the reassurance on Nicholas, I am sticking to my guns. He isn't even a teenager until May , hopefully this phase goes buy fast like the months have been. Can't believe it is April in a few days.

Thanks, Nabbie! I'll share that with Debbie.

Mari is going to be home Friday evening. Yay!!! I'm trying to change the stuff on my fireplace mantle around a little to make it look a bit more streamlined. Not sure whether I like it or not. I may post photos to get some opinions tomorrow.

What a nasty day I woke up to! Almost dark outside with pouring rain. I really didn't want to go to work, but no choice. It cleared up by afternoon to a nice warm sunny day, but windy as helk!
Went for a little field trip this afternoon to look at some stuff at BLT. Some proposed changes. Also looked at Top of the World Lounge, which overlooks the MK from the 16th floor which they thought would be in such high demand it was going to be hard to get in. For Members only. But so far not so much in demand, LOL, but we are only at at about 50% member/renter, so that will chance over time. Anyway, very nice lounge. Moo, you should check it out next time you go to watch the fireworks.
Speaking of members, where has Lil G been??????

Cel, yay for Moxie, anxious t6to hear how it goes.

I was kind of ticked off at boss today, I worked for 13+ hours this weekend on this project he is chomping at the bit for, and just as I was starting to show him, he got called away. Said he would be back but never did.

HI BBN and Twinkie, which you could stay a bit longer next time.

Better go to bed now.

My arm doesnt hurt HURT.........but if I touch that area or lay on it like i did last night.....OMG it killed....Now today it hurts to have a shirt on it too.....go figure........the doc did say that the new tetnus has whooping cough stuff too....to keep the baby boomers from developing it ....guess we are old NOW for sure....

Raining again today......when will it ever stop.....Flooding galore and the back yard is MUD.....geesh.....Megara was pushed to stay there and do a pee pee or else mama would not take her in.......I am more strick and hubby is a push over....geesh he did that with the kiddos too.

So Ava should be coming in a few....I did miss her though.

Need to see doggie photos......

Nabbers - I am rooting for the cowboys too. I almost died when I thought they would be gone and the lesbians would still be there. They have gotten on my LAST nerve!! Here's a  for you. It DOES get better, it just takes some time. I think it's the worst age for boys AND girls.

pumba
- Have you taken tylenol or advil? That might help with the pain.

Oh, and after seeing some of the prom dance photos, I'm at peace that DS did not go. Let's just say there was ALOT of *grinding* going on. I know not everyone dances like that, but those are the photos I've seen from his friends pages.

Moo
- I'm in the dusting hating club too. This house is worse than any we have lived in. I can dust Monday and by Wednesday it doesn't look like I did anything.

BGal - We have lovely weather today, so hopefully it is coming your way.;)

CEL - thanks for the picture posting tip. Moxie looks like a regular member of the family! :goodvibes
