Moo-- I saw that picture of the new Disney ship with the slide that goes all the way aruond the upper deck. It looks pretty cool. Loved to be laying on a beach right now.

The sun disappeared today and they are calling for 0 tomorrow after we have been having nice warm temps.

I must look as tired as a feel because one of the moms this morning at school said I must have really partied last night. Yeah right.

Well off to run errands and then if I get some energy start the wash....the fun never stops.

Hiya, Twink! I second Nab's request for a new photo of the little cutie

I'd love to be laying on a beach, too, Nabbie! Brrr, it turned cold here today. I want our spring weather back!!!

I am in major cleaning mode tonight. I've been working on my bathroom. Trying to scrub and dust some stuff in there that usually gets glossed over Yuck!

Tomorrow I have my one-year post-surgery check-up. I sure haven't been losing much lately. Hopefully, it's just a plateau. It'll be interesting to see what they say about my weight loss total and bloodwork (if they got the results back).

morning everyone.

Want to know how stinking cold it is out there and the wind is howling....what gives.....tonight it will be near zero they said......and I am walking to the hairdresser this morning for a complete restoration....hahaha..hubby calls it that...cut, dye job and curl......I need it badly.

It is cold out there!!! Winter has returned.

I had a hard time getting Hannah to put her winter coat back on this morning. She said it is spring and they call it a spring coat for a reason. So I asked her if she saw there was snow outside right now would she put a winter coat on. Of course she would....case closed put your winter coat on. It feels like -12 today. Don't let the sun fool you.

Pumba-- My time is coming when I have to dye my hair. The only grey I see is by my ears which gets overed with my other hair. I ask my hairdresseer all the time should I colour yet do you see any grey hair back there where I can't. Not yet ...I knew once I start there will be a lot of up keep. I am a wash and go type of girl.

What to do today? Maybe read, watch daytime tv ( which is not very good you guys are not missing a thing) cross stitch, or clean.....what to do.

Howdy.

A stinking COLD day. I had to get my winter parka out of the closet and put the hood up when I walked to the hairdresser...Tonight it will be near zero.....Can you believe that.

Well I am BEEEEE UUU tiful......and feel great....Ava came to my house at noon time and we had a great time......She is so good...yesterday didnt have her because of low census at the doctors office. And I dont have her Monday because I have my first check up with my new doctor.....I think it is more of a meet and greet......cause I had my annual physical in January......AND THAT IS ENOUGH FOR ME......

tonight hubby and I went to the Mexican restaurant and it is so good......I Didnt think i could stomach going to the chinese place after last weekend......

so off to get my laundry out of the dryer and put another load in.....hope you all have a great night

Nothing much going on here. Been working hours on my fun special project. It's almost done with just population data, then the real fun starts with analyzing things.

Looks like hubby and DD and I are going out to dinner somewhere tomorrow for hubby's birthday, dont know where yet.

Absolutely have to bite the bullet on nails tomorrow, no excuses (well, except I could postpone till Sunday and go to another place... )

Plus I am supposed to meet my new best friend Ella the seamstress sometime this weekend, whenever she calls, to pick up my suits. Going to wear one of them for hosting the Analyst meeting which is Thursday. So far, show and tell with tasting and a meeting room overlooking MK on the 15th floor of the Contemporary are set. I think I got enough agenda items to fill 1.5 hours. I just absolutely HATE this stuff!!!!

good morning EVERYONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

today I was awaken by Megara (being told to) hitting me with her paw.....she said (well sort of) get up and come eat some breakfast meat. Hubby made bacon and eggs and coffee.....My job is to put the bread in to make toast.....gotta love a ready made breakfast...he does that almost every weekend.

Last night our granddaughter and her beau came to visit for a while. IT was great to listen to her excitement of getting into the pharamcy college. She was so excited. She had some coffee ice cream and scott had girl scout cookies......these two are sweet together and both good students too..

Sun is out but the air is 18 degrees.......now sitting in the house in my sunbeam is enough for me...

I hope that your outfits are perfect with your new best friends expertise......and you will do great on your new projects too...

Marita -- glad you are finally getting to do fun stuff for work. Happy Birthday to your hubby! Where do you think will be eating out?

Pumba-- sun is shining here too but not sure how warm it is out , haven't stepped outside yet.

Just finish cleaning up my kitchen from a late breakfast/lunch.

It was freezing last nigth when we were out selling Girl Guide cookies. I hate this part but Hannah loves it. We have 3 boxes of 12 to sell. So really 36 indiviual ones to sell , last night we sold 14. One of those was to her father because she dropped a box and it came open....

The last one is finally getting dressed for the day so out we go to enjoy the day together hubby has been working so much the kids miss him and he is off this weekend.

I'm taking breadman to a black tie fundraiser tonight. should be fun, but I'm nervous my dress won't fit. I've been eating too much lately.

I had a 1.5 hour massage this afternoon. It was heavenly!!! But the hot engine light came on on my way to the massage, so I had to go to the oil change place right afterward and have them flush and fill my coolant, along with doing an oil change. I didn't dare drive my car very far, so fortunately there was a place practically next door. They were pretty nice . . . vacuumed my car out AND I got a free car wash. It was a pretty expensive afternoon though

Now I'm procrastinating on getting my housecleaning done. I think I'll just do some more decluttering tonight. It's still too early to vacuum and dust before Mari and the boyfriend arrive for Easter weekend I think I'm probably going to need to take a day off work for that on Wednesday or Thursday.

Cel - That sounds like fun! I'm sure you're going to look great

Marita - Hope you have a good time going out for your hubby's birthday dinner.

Nabbie - Goog luck to Hannah on selling her cookies! I managed to restrain myself on buying any this year. I just had a couple cookies that someone put out at work.

Brrr, Pumba! At least it was a little warmer here today. 50ish again.

Moo, 1.5 hour massage? I am green with envy! Sounds wonderful

I got home after 1 1/4 hours of torture at the nail salon today, and was looking forward to relaxing for an hour before heading out to dinner. I got home and hubby said, are you ready? I said why? Nicole doesnt get off till 6. He said, well, it is 6 NOW! I thought it was 5, my internal clock was off by an entire hour

Dinner was very good. I had lobster, crab legs and shrimp with a baked potatoe and a salad. Except that DD ate my salad and my crab legs, and I had 3 shrimp and hubby took the rest home, LOL. But I'm stuffed! I had 3 bisquits and was full from that before dinner even came.
I did order a bowl of potato and bacon soup to go before we left, so that should come in nicely later this week.

Well I finally got the pics of our Peter Pan dinner posted *over there*. Also, tonight was prom night for DS high school. DS didn't go. I think I am having a harder time with him NOT going than he is. LoL He never asked anyone. Oh well. Saved me $$$$$.

Good morning to the rest of us...it is sort of yucky out all of a sudden....it was nice and then the sunbeam went away.......

Hubby went out and stuck some more acorns to the lilac tree.......we love to watch the squirrel come and get them...

Last night we had company for supper.....first it was hubby and I and then granddaughter asked for my homemade mac and cheese with her beau....so two went to four.....and then son and his wife came to visit and I had to cook in front of them so I asked them to stay too.....so two casserole dishes of mac and cheese and a huge bowl of salad and blueberry pie to boot......yah it was a nice visit.

can I ask where over there is so I can see Peter pan too......

OH last night after everyone left I went to get some ice to put in my diet pepsi......and I open the freezer and there is Capt john smith laying in my ice cube holder.....I take him out and then ask what is he doing in there......Hubby says he and our granddaughter wanted to see if the tattoo on his chest changes colors........BUT it only changes if you rub the eagle on his chest.....Yes my family is weird and we all laughed about this for a bit.

PUmba -- over there is Facebook. What is Captain John Smith...I am guessing booze of some sort. I am not a big drinker. I do know of Captain Morgan though.

Marita-- I knew you were going to eat some of those cheese buns. I thought women go there nails done for pampering and sitting around doing nothing. And it was a luxury but when you talk about I guess I am not missing anything.

Well off to church. Today is Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week.

Cel - Thanks for sharing your photos! Your dress looks like it fits just fine!!! When I went to my group nutritionist appointment on Friday, she shared a bunch of patients' regain stories. I know I'm going to have to be really careful. But I still have over 60 lbs to lose to get out of the obese BMI range.

Marita - I decided to have a longer massage yesterday because whenever I have had an hour massage, I always felt like some areas weren't massaged long enough. I had some pretty bad knots in my shoulders so she worked on those quite a bit. They're pretty sore today. I think I might have to get some chair massages to help keep my shoulders loosened up. The person I go to for foot reflexology comes into the office every couple weeks to do chair massages, so I can have a chair massage during break time.

Allie - I didn't see your photos on FB. Not sure why I can't see them. This seems awfully early for prom! Around here, they wait until May. Sorry to hear your son didn't go. It's always so fun to see all the kids dressed up!

Moo - Don't know why you can't see them either, except that I didn't "publish" it in my feed since I am not done editing yet, or tagging for that matter. They have so many schools and only one place to have the proms, so somebody has to go early. He really doesn't seem bothered that he missed it. He played XBOX all night. I just feel like his missing out on part of his high school experience. It really is more of a problem with ME, than with him. I've been on his FB and seen all the kids pics, and I guess I'm a little jealous. I really have GOT to get over this. Actually he is really shy, and has never been on a date, and don't know that he has ever danced, so he may have been too nervous to go through all of that. He won't say.

CEL - I had to feed the crocodile, like a toddler, his dinner because he couldn't hold a fork AND get the food in his mouth due to his croc head. He asked my son to do it, and he laughed and said No Way! I felt bad for him, so I fed him. He's a BIG boy and he needs his dinner. Loved your 'prom' pictures too. You look great in your dress!!
