Oh good lordy.....I never spring clean.....just happens if I want to.....END OF THAT.....hahahaha..
I went thru my clothes today. I have like five or six white shirts that I can wear in Disney, two or three pinks and a salmon one. One outfit cant button up the front......where o' where did those things come from. So I am thinking I love the bottom and the top so what if I buy a tank top style shirt to wear and then not button up.....I will see how that goes...
When my kids were young. Our son was one of those sponges and our daughter had to work for her grades. So I tried not to let one outshine the other. Our (first set of grandkids) were both smart but our grandson goofed off alot. He was not a traditional type of a student. Our second set of grandkids (almost 4 and almost 6) are to young to think about it yet..

For supper I made burgers and then I had some mac and cheese leftovers to go with mine and hubby had his in buns....He had stewed maters and I had spinach. Tried to do the carb, veggie and protein trick.....

I hope you all have a great night and nice to see the twinkie and the mony

Twinkie and Mony, good to see you! Please dont be so rare.

Not much to repot here, frustrating day(s) at work with new files that take forever to run. I can go have a cigartte, go to the bathroom, get a snack and the darn thing still isnt done! And there are 15 of them!Heaven forbid yoy find a discrepancy and make a change, you get to start all over!

Cel, you didnt tell us about new puppy over here? :(

One more day of work tomorrow, then 4 days off, w00t! I need to do cleaning too. I made a list in Outlook. I may or may not get it done.

Oh, if you haven't heard, the 1 million free tickets for volunteering are gone now. All spokine for.

I just fell in love with all those doggies.....some of the stories are so sad....poor babies.
We went to Walmart and got some coke....on sale...98 cents for a two liter......hubby said we better get used to the coke products cause that is all we can get in Disney.

Just had some pistachios for my evening snack ...but I would like to have a little bitty piece of my fudge....good lordy I love that stuff.

Celery-- are you getting two more dogs or those are two you are looking at?

Spent the day looking for new running shoes. I hate shoe shopping. The guy helping me out couldn't believe it. Had some that squeak even though they weren't wet, some that were not wide enough, and some that he told me they were my size but my heels would lift out....:confused3 Finally went down a size and up in price to find a perfect pair. Good think I don't buy shoes everyday I would be broke.

My recap of the day: Frustrating!

Spent the last 3 days adapting a new business review format that we are supposed to use, and it was hell! Found out today by accident, because the intern was in a file he wasn't supposed to used, that the other hotels in the region still use the old files, which run in 2 minutes vs. 2.5 hours!!!!!!!!!!

But! I have the next 4 days off, YAY!!! :worship:

Mony and Twink - SO nice to see you! Life sure gets in the way of DISing at times, doesn't it!!!

Cel - Goog luck with the pooches. They are cuties :) I'm sure that Riley pup will enjoy having some company!

Nabbie - I looked at new workout shoes over the weekend. I didn't even see any I wanted to try on. Glad you found some! I was sorry to see Cheryl leave BL last night, but she sure was looking good. I didn't figure the black team would do well if they didn't have Sam for future challenges.

Marita - Yay for four days off!!!!!!!!!!!

Pumba - Yum, pistachios! I had some tonight too.

You know, it never fails! I take a day off, and not a soul is around

Got up at 9:30 this morning, YAY! I usually like to get up early to enjoy my day off fully, but I was up late last night and it was great to be able to sleep in a little.

It's a dreary, rainy day here today again. On top of that, they had tornado warnings on TV all morning for the Ocala area, which is like 200 miles away, so all my programs were interrupted or totally exempted! :headache: It's finally over with.

DS just called. He is takng 2 weeks off in June and will come home, but also taking a 5 day cruise with DD and a friend. When I cried about wanting to go too (but worst time for me at work), he said he and I could take a cruise together later in the year. I love that boy!

Well, I better go start some of the projects on my to-do list

Marita-- sorry I usually post in the morning but I have been in Hannah's room cleaning all day. I swear that child is a hoarder. Threw a lot of paper away. She wanted me to move her bed back to where it used to be. I don't like it this way but she wants a change. I think it makes the room look smaller.

Hannah is going to have to go through all her stuff animals and get rid of some. This is crazy. Her allowance goes to Build a Bears mostly. I will let her keep them but the Mcdonald little ones, ones from the fair etc. we need to weed out.

I'm scared to go into Nicholas room too. He is a hoarder too. He keeps plastic bags from the game place he buys a game at. :sad2: And he scratches codes out for his games on little pieces of paper.

Anyway vent over....and what started my cleaning frenzy. Diabetes is coming to pick up used clothes and items tomorrow , when they called I said sure I must have something.

Hi, Nab, thanks for showing up! It is now absolutely pouring and ugly out here, basically black outside. YUCK! I was going to pull myself together and get a pedicure, but it is pouring now, so i am NOT leaving the house.

I know all about girls rearranging their room. DD did it about every 3-5 months. Only so many ways you can arrange furniture, but she always wanted to change it.

Hope the cruise works out for you. Just found out DS can't go to Mexico because of his work status.

So for done on my to do list: NOTHING! Not even dinner, sigh! and it's supposed to be equally ugly tomorrow.

They are STILL running weather reports on TV, so got to see NONE of my daytime shows! :headache: I have MSNBC on now. I suppose I could watch some taped shows too, but I hate doing that while working in the kitchen. I am cursed, I tell you!

I feel for the poor tourists getting stuck with this weather.

At least I dont have to drive in this mess. Maybe I should look for someting to make for dinner before DH has to go to bed. Chicken livers tomorrow, I'm not up for that tonight.

You got the weather they said we were to get but the sun is shining nice out here now. But the say the weekend is suppose to be all rain.

The kids start March break next week. so they will be home. Think I will head to my mom's for some of it since hubby has to work the later half. And Nicholas has to be back for his job at church on Sunday. We don't get to go as much.

Rain is good napping weather....that is what I wanted to do today. :lmao:

Woohoo! Just discovered Judge Maybelline on TV in reruns of Divorce court. I love her  Buried deep on cable TV.

Also my Celery Charm suit arrive, LOVE it. Great quality too, lined. Alas, it also needs alterations for sleeves and pants. I may have to drang myself out in the rain tomorrow to get ot done along with my other suit.
Geez, maybe I should try the other on again too, just in case.

Howdy everyone.

TOMORROW my AVA comes back for the day anyways.....and possibly next week too.....I am so excited ...can you tell..
Tonight we went to do our grocery shopping and I was full from eating supper so I didnt get to much.....I guess it is true...if you eat a meal before you go you wont be buying the munchies.....did get some dannon yogurt that was fifteen carbs and one is an apple pie.....now that sounds great.. ALso got some triscits....I love those crackers....weird...like shredded wheat crackers..but I have to sneak in the sardines in it....So maybe tomorrow I will eat those while hubby is at work...He hates the smell of those.....and also anchovies......I had that last weekend at the pizza buffet ...I put them on my ceasar salad....delicious.

Have a good day off Marita and those suits will be altered perfectly:banana:

Marita -- How is your weather today. We got your rain today.

Had to go out and get my license sticker for the car almost forgot it was due this month. The paper has been sitting on my counter for over a month too.

Went food shopping too since the kids will be home next week. I am sure they will be wanting to be fed while on holidays. Hope the sun comes out so they don't have to stay inside the whole week.

Pumba-- I sure your enjoying your day with Ava. Hope fully I will see my niece' little one when I go next week. She will be one already next month. Wow how time flies.

Twinkie -- we need another picture of the baby. She must be getting big now. You have a birthday coming up too!! Hope you check in.

Hi Nab!

Stil raining here, blahh. I never feel like doing anything when its crappy outside. I am defrosting some chicken livers for dinner, which isn't too hard too make, but I have to chop an onion first, geez. So far my accomplishments for the day: ZILCH!

Oh, yesterday my tv shows were preempted by weather warnings all day, today it's basketball. WTH!!! :confused3

Marita you can't win. But isn't it better then working.

I just got back from picking up the kids. I drive if it is raining ,don't want to get wet and it is so windy the umbrella would go inside out.

These are days I would love just to have a nap but wash wouldn't get done that way.

Nab, yes, defininitly better than working. Nap sounds good, I might take one. You mean doing laundry is better than a nap? :confused3

Hubby bought stuff at the store today so no chicken livers tonight, woohoo! He got some fried chicken.

I would not say wash is better then a nap but having clothes to wear next week would be a good thing.

It is a nasty night out there, the wind is really blowing. I have to go out later to got get Nicholas. He went to the dance tonight. His dad dropped him off on the way to work.

I went to the store for food today too but I was the one that had to make it. At least your hubby is feeding you. No that would be a vacation to me, my hubby has cooked for me in a long time. He will ask if he could help but most time I don't need it.

Yesterday, Ava and I had a great day. My DIL and granddaughter came and spent the morning and lunch with us. So we did have a great time. She took a good nap and then was full of it after. She loved it when my hubby came home. She calls him papa like the rest of the kids.

Today PAPA made breakfast for us. He also woke me up at seven to say "Megara go and get gramma and tell her its time for breakfast meat"...that is turkey bacon, eggs and toast.......hahaha.

Sun is still out here and the window is open. It may be a bit chilly but the air smells so good..

Hope you have a great weekend
