We to had a wonderful Good Friday.

Got all the eggs coloured, that would be 3 dozen. No one spilled any colour this year that was a bonus for me. They did fight over colours, and one was taking so long so I made two of each colour. Nicholas liked to leave his eggs in along time to get a darker colour. Hannah she took hers out barely coloured. So of course she complained that we needed more eggs.

We do an Easter egg hunt with plastic eggs too. Then they get one big chocolate figure thing. Not sure how this is going to happen this year because we are heading to my Mom's for today for Easter. Hannah is worried Buddy will scare the Easter bunny off while we are gone.....

Moo-- are you snowed in? I saw your were getting pounded.

Mony -- hope your not sick too.

Lil'g -- I see red hair really runs in your family. Your niece is beautiful.

Lil G - She is breastfeeding and doing really well. I helped her get started afterall. He is gaining weight great, already over 9 1/2 lbs. She eats about the same as me, I'd say.

I agree somewhat about her tear. The midwife gave her "a little cut to help her" and it ripped wide open. However, she was pushing for quite some time and it just wasn't stretching anymore. I think she should have change positions and squatted to help some, but the midwife doesn't seem to be into different. I've either been cut or torn with all mine, same midwife. Never as bad as her though. I've never seen anything like it. Only about 3 inches of his head was crowning and then BAM he was flying out into the midwife's arms. She almost dropped him. I am hoping to go to a birthing center for my next one and try my hand at a water birth.

I don't know if I ever told anyone this, but Isaac's cord was around his neck AND in a knot.

BBN: I had great nurses for most of my babies. I don't think they even were very attentive to her and she tore clear through to you know where. Poor thing.

neck..twice! * he was the one that used to draw the crowds..he,he

Yikes. What were his Apgars? Caleb was our scariest delivery. Thick meconium stained. CAN and body. not breathing. Low apgars, but luckily he's fine.

The redhead had a true knot in his cord too, but luckily it wasn't tight!

Got an update on mom today from my brother.

She got a pacemaker on Wednesday, and it apparantly was very painful for her. DB said she complained a lot (which is not really like her). He said she is weak and tired all the time. And the woman who shared her room died last night. and mom witnessed it, so that did not help any either.
She is moving back to short term assisted living facility, but this time my brother has to pay for it

I was relooking at flights again today, the trusty charter airline I took for 30 years (direct flight from Orlando) now seems to only leave from Ft. Myers, 3 hours away. I will call them in case I messed up.And they quoted $1,600 +


But I found some flight for $432 (plus taxes) but the have a stop at either Manchester or Paris, but still, not bad, I would rather pay 1,200 less for a couple of more hours of travel time.
I finally finished Twilight today, and started on the second book.

I sent the link to my cruise photos to my brother, so hopefully he will print a few out for her.

Any prayers and PD for my mom would be appreciated.

Oh Lord. I've crossed a line with the Snack Cake Scientist. The bbn knew the story, but you didn't. I should have clarified before I posted that. The second time I got strep the doctor accused me of not finishing my antibiotics. I took every one of those things! She just kept accusing me of it and saying that's what must have happened for the strep to have come back. You can take it down a level, I really did finish them all last time and I think today is my last dose this time. Sleep in peace tonight.

We did 2 dozen last weekend.
We used the glitter kit, mickey tattoos and an egg holder thingie. It was fun!

HAPPY EASTER!

Home sweet home! Got home at 8ish last night. Had to stay at my dad's and finish watching the West Virginia/Dook game. No comment. (But I may or may not echo Moo's sentiments.)

Even though I think I could've slept in this morning, I had to get up early to make the ADRs for my imaginary Sept. trip.

The Easter eggs are hidden and we're ready for action here. Just need some kids to wake up.

I have been all nerved up about the REAL ID program.......some of you may know that Maine and a few other states have decided not to comply with this ID program.....it would cost the state 185 million bucks to do this....Maine is already getting rid of educational and health and welfare programs to make budget ends meet....
SO there is not enough time to get a passport .but will call tomorrow.....we would have to shell out 115.00 for each of us....and we would pay of course for our granddaughter.....we are upset now.....
If we dont have enough time, we will bring our regular id's (that do not comply) our birth certificates and marriage licenses and all our other stuff n our wallets.

I guess I better get ready for Mass......i was going to go to the vigil last night but my dang back didnt agree......so laid on the couch and watched (both channels)......Parent Trap for the upteenth time and Sound of Music which always brings tears to my eyes......what a beautiful love story and survival ....

I am sorry about your Mom! If you take the flight out of Ft. Myers it won't be non-stop. You can't come to my neck of the woods without stopping in to see us!

My BIL just took Chad to that airport this morning to rent a car. It's so nice and bright and clean. I love it there. Everytime we drive by I wish we could just turn in and take a flight to wherever we want.


Chad's on the road. We set call times for him to call me. Because if I call him and he doesn't answer his phone, I'll have him dead and buried.

The boys and I are watching Enchanted. We will color eggs soonish.

We're skipping church because taking all 5 of them is just too hard by myself. What would I do with them when I have to feed the baby? I'm sure WT could make that into a great episode of ADT.

The pink silk method. I like it. Well so far I am in the lead with number of games picked but the DH does a weighted thing so I am currently behind DS in points but ahead of DH. I need to remember where I have the better time for layover, one had like 30 minutes, which sounds like REALLY tight, I think I would worry the whole 10 hour flight.
I am really ticked off at my charter company that flew out of Orlando for 30+ years direct at a great price. And now they moved it 3 hours away and tripled the price.
