No, I have not. We seem to have drifted apart. :sad1: Guess I'm not as goog of a stalker as I thought I was.

Glad to hear so many of my Moovin friends are sharing in the snow with me. Have I mentioned I love it? Today my friends and I walked to a park that is not really within walking distance and then walked all around the park. Took about 3 hours. It was sooooo gorgeous. The adventure may have also involved crossing a frozen stream and climbing over a barbed wire fence. :rolleyes1 You couldn't even tell where the streets were and where the ground was. There have still been no plows here, that's the city of Cincinnati for ya. We have 15 inches.

Martina McBride is singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow on my tv.

In other news....I have a huge announcement. Really huge. Everyone ready????

I FINISHED THE PAPER!!!!!!!!!
WOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you had a lovely, adventurous day!

May I just say better you than me with the snow!!!

BTW, Amy Adams is hosting SNL tonight.

Night, all - I'm heading to my room to watch it

Wait. Someone needs to clarify (TMyouknowwho) for me. I change my clock tonight? I do what to it? Forward or backward? At midnight? So like now?

Moo...thanks for the SNL heads up! You're not getting the snow up in Michigan?

OK, I thought it was funny.

Yes, set your clocks ahead one hour (if it is midnight there, set your clocks to 1:00 a.m.). Do it now so you won't be late for church in the morning.

SPRING FORWARD

Ack! I had toadily forgotton. Glad I checked in here before bed.

Really goog point, Twink. I'll have to ask DD what she is thinking of doing. She only plans to go to her department ceremony, not the big one at the stadium, so that should help. I know all three schools must be having graduation the same weekend based on how quickly hotels booked up. I made those ressies MONTHS ago as soon as they became available. I'm going to make a pitch for breakfast at Breadman's.

Acetate-gown-of-heat-prostration! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My luck it will be super roasting
1. Yes- skipping the stadium is goog. I would bet anything all the schools are th same weekend. I know my parents always booked months in advance and never at the hotels that were actually close.
2. Breakfast is a great idea. Go uber early. The restaurants are slow I tell ya!
3. :thumbsup2 One particularily roasty May day all the guys were jealous of my mad skillz at avoiding heat prostration. Poor deers.:lmao:
4. Yes. Plan for super roasting and or at least warm and humid.

That's the midwest for ya. (although Twinkie argues that Indiana is not the midwest, so what do I know? Apparently, not much today)
Did I say that? I do remember being shocked at your secret cowboy cadre up dere in dem hills. *posting live from the origen of the cowboy boot*
I prefer Drew Carey on the show "Whose Line Is It Anyway".
On a side note: Tomato juice has many benefits. Just ask Twinkie.:rolleyes1
1. Me too sistah wife!
2. Bwuahahahaha! I had forgotton that. I better go check my cupboards. ;)

I FINISHED THE PAPER!!!!!!!!!

Hip hip hooray! That is a huge weight taken off your shoulders! Good job little Montessori teacher, good job!

Marita- I am impressed with your pre-cruise preparations! So close. Yee haw!

Hi everybodee else!:flower3:

Marita- I am impressed with your pre-cruise preparations! So close. Yee haw!

Hi everybodee else!:flower3:

Thanks, I am so proud! I got a pair of shorts and some sunglasses :rotfl:

My DDs BF's parents are hosting a lunch for both their graduations about 30 miles away, in Maitland. Why, I have no idea????????? Maitland?????? They live in Jacksonville, so it's not even close to their house :confused3 But whatever, we'll be there (paying own tab).
We can't have a divided lunch now, can we?

YAYYYYYYYY on finishing the paper PJ!!!

so I was ready to go to bed. Turned off the computer. Got some water. Turned the channle to listen to TV while brushing teeth, etc.
And the Everly brothers are on TV!
So now have to listen to them, but also have to be connected online, becaus I am sick tht way.

"now and and forever, let it be me" currently playing..

I love me some Everly Brothers! Wake Up Little Susie, Bye Bye Love, All I Have to Do is Dream, When Will I Be Loved. I seem to always be 20 years behind the current pop music (though I can't imagine I will be listening to pop music from the 90s and the 00s in 10 and 20 years). When I was a teenager, I was a huge fan of 50s and 60s music so I know those songs. Now, here in the 00s, I'm enjoying the 80s music quite a bit.

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

They showed picture of snow in LEXINGTON? Wow! Slow news night. We actually did get a decent amount of snow but not *epic* or anything. It did snow all day so the kids got out in it and played. It is quite beautiful like PJ said. But she's only an hour north and got 10 more inches (of snow) than we did.

In other news....I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME. It's official. Our sunrise is now at 6:59 a.m. Who thought DST was a goog idea anyway?! I'll never be able to get the little dude to bed at a decent hour...for the rest of the school year. And to think of all those little darlins who have to stand outside in the dark at the bus stop every morning. :sad2: It's just wrong. Even more wrong than the *no snowball* rule.

PJ....   I'm so happy your paper is finished. I'm sure this one will get an even better grade than the first one!

Marita
....I cannot believe you are a size 10. You look more like a size 6 to me. Glad you hear you got some new stuff for the trip. BTW....thank goodness nebo showed up at last!

NAB
....Is Canada communist? Cuz that *no snowball* rule is just wrong!

BNCG....I love that your little man loves on you and brings you peanut butter eggs. I get many hugs every day. DS calls them commercial hugs. When he's watching cartoons he gets up during every commercial to give me a hug. I'll take them every time I can get them. I know it'll all come to a screeching halt soon enough.

Wendee
.....40 kids?!? At. Your. House? :scared1: You win this week's Mom of the Week Award. Congratulations!

Celery....I keep meaning to say that I read your comment about the boy with the Mimi haircut! :lmao: Mimi and her boyfriend were sort-of haircut twins for a while. Which is why I like her hair better when she does it curly. She has the most beautiful naturally curly hair and she takes such great pains to straighten it.

EVERYBODY ELSE......:wave2:

HAVE A BLESSED (and warm) SUNDAY!

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." --John 6:35

Melindee, I slightly exaggerated. Not really 40. More like 16 ish? I lost count. They were everywhere! Do I still get Mom of the Week?

Pinewood Derby Update:

After hours and hours of researching which will go faster, Nyoil, graphite, or "tube-o-lube" and dozens of test runs, we are going with Tube-o-lube for the derby cars....Hope that information makes your lives better in some way.

We're at the painting stage of Derby Madness. Siblings of the scouts can race after the derby so Norah has a Princess car in pink and purple glitter.

Once the cars are weighed to specifications, wheel nails ground down to not drag, Lego dude drivers puttied into place, and all decals are painstakingly placed, the two winning derby cars will be stored in a padded shoe box in the safe till derby day. Or visions of them in the sand box or being catapaulted down the dirty driveway will cause WWIII and we will have 2 DED boys...:sad2: Oh ya, it's THAT bad!

So after he left, I tried them on. Yep, size 10 is perfect!!!!!
I'm proud of you for shopping, but I can't believe you're a size 10!!!!!!!

The other day the redhead came up to me and said "Mom! I need to kiss you, bend down here quick!!"

So when I bent down, he kissed me and placed something in front of me on the table. It was a Peanut Butter Egg. Do you see why it's so easy to overlook his craziness? He knows the way to my heart...sloppy little kids smooches and a peanut butter egg. Does life get any better?
Awwww! What a sweetie!

I FINISHED THE PAPER!!!!!!!!!

Lil G- I'm dying to know what a "****y Liner" is (self censored).

Evening, all!

We've been out running the roads today. Took the puppies to get their nails trimmed and I picked up some water-based stain for a project. I have a built-in desk in the bedroom and needed to stain the desktop we picked up last weekend. Currently, there is a dresser instead of a desktop in that space. DH is going to use the dresser and I'm putting the new desktop in to hold the TV and recorder. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the crap that's currently in the dresser. I think most of it is stuff I don't wear anymore that can go to Goodwill.

No snow here, PJ!!!!!!!! But it is still pretty chilly.

Lex, I love that you get "commercial" kisses from your little dude! :goodvibes

Twink, you'll have to tell me your secret for beating heat prostration. I am pretty sure the department ceremony is indoors, thank googness.

YAY, Marita, for shopping success!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay:

Lil G, I had some dried Michigan cherries that were dipped in chocolate today. Yum yum! :thumbsup2

Wendy, you KNOW we will expect to see photos of those derby cars! ;)

Cel, we need to finalize our plans soon so I can figure out what date I'm flying home.

What a busy day, it went by so fast.

Between clearing the last of the snow, kids playing in the snow and keeping up with all the wet clothes the day is gone.

P.J-- glad you got your paper done and had some fun in the snow.

Marita --you sound like your more then ready to get on the boat.

Moo- I have a lot in my closet that I can't fit myself. I should get rid of them too because if I was to get skinny I would want new clothes....

I am heading to my Mom's tomorrow since the kids are out of school. We have to be back by Wed. night because it is the kids last swimming lesson this time around.

Hope the roads are all cleared up by then and no other storm comes in while I am gone since hubby has to stay home and I will be doing the driving.

Nabbie, hope you and the kids have a fun and safe trip! :dance3:

No jury duty again this week!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Moo- No Jury Duty IS reason to celebrate. And of course I'll take pictures of the cars "my boys made all by themselves" ;) They're insane!

My big accomplishment was to do all the finishing touches on many sewing projects such as buttons, zippers, hemming, etc. That is a huge weight off my shoulders. Plus ironing. Which is rather enjoyable if done while watching tv.

Again, I ask, when is Desperate Housewives going to re-air? I don't like the Oprah show. Too feel-good after Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

Wow, quiet day here today.

Both my kids were home all day today. In the living room, on the couch even (well, the other couch, I have two) I can't remember the last time that happened. Like from 11 am till 11pm. Nicole spent like 2 hours playing scrabble online, with Chris watching :rotfl:

The only thing I got done today was to color my hair.
No laundry is done, no clothes are packed, no boarding passes are printed.
I just did NOTHING all day.
I think I will take Wednesday off to get ready. Besides, I have absolutely no motivation for work, at all!!!!!!!!! Good enough reason in my book!

Moo, good luck with staining the desk.
Nabbie, have a safe and fun trip!

Wendy, you snuck in on me. I think I heard Aprilish for new scripted shows.
ironing even with TV is not high on my list of desirable chores. (but the again, nothing really is!)
I need a maid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got censored? sooo  . good thing my lil' ..didn't
catch that..or i be catching something else....:snooty: &
she wouldn't be so..gentle.

.."head"~liners..well, if they can pic their body parts, why can't i
pick mine? [ based on interest, :thumbsup2 ]..

..but it just soo funny..what others...came up with...to make
hidden..suggestions "head"-liners? , as if they were
actual thinking?

...now, here's the other point.."old movies"..didn't get by with
any refernce/s to boy-girl realitionships...so the actors/actresses
had to used their ...noddles?...ironic,i think they're much better
then today..special effects...:)

,..i admired..gary grant..did you all ever seen that movie..he made with
harvey--the dancing caterpillar..? "that's my baby!" ps,
it has a cute refernce..to mr. disney.

..i don't know why...but i have the feeling..backstage...girl --was the
orginal disney ambassador girl? she sooo :earsgirl: !

oh,,, moo, i'm envious! popcorn:: , did i ever mentioned, eating is a
hobby of mine.....favorite type.

speaking..of ..i saw some kind of osmond..special..wow..i can remember
when marie..was , smaller than me...dang it!...everybody..passing me
up! . if i ever make it tooo utah, wendy girl, i am going need
you to stand beside me....:rolleyes1

..on the cruise boards..some of my best stuff goes un-noticed..probably
a good thing...:dance3: . wow, backie?,,,did you see where last week
magic..failed to dock? the guests..became hostile and spewed undisney
comments..@ the crew. now, in paying closer attention..& recalling some
of the similar behaviors...me thinks..those paying for crusies ...are
expecting....perks..that are way beyond..reason? sad.

sometimes,i think , the best advice...is to let the cruise just happens.
& maybe take a friend..with you...., :rolleyes1

nabby girl wrote..a great trip report..over her wonderful cruise....&
my favorite...pictures! :thumbsup2

hey moo..are those cherries green or blue..with a white or yellow "m"
letter? hymmmm. ps, noticed...i haven't posted the state team pics?

..wonder..what can i get for them?

baBY N??? ..i'm sure you seen the clinic re-using syringes...whatever
the programs..where those nurses came from..need looking at?
