Javamom, congrats on your DVC and on your AP! I currently have an AP too, and I feel so cool! :cool1: Where did you buy in?

Hi Bonnie, we bought at Boardwalk Villas. Going there in June.

Yahoo on the APs, Steph!!!

Glad you're getting rested up, Allie :goodvibes

Bonnie, I am in Michigan where we're having a very dreary, rainy Sunday. The only saving grace is that I have tomorrow off work! :yay:

I saw some of your WDW hags trip and Mt. Vernon mini-trip pics over on the Chatters thread :thumbsup2 I especially loved your hot and steamy pic with your DH (that's to make the people here go check them out) :lmao:

DH is watching the Daytona 500 this afternoon. He is rerunning some of the commercials for me - there have been some pretty funny ones.

Hey everybody PJ wanted me to tell you that her grandma did pass away this weekend.

Hollywood did fly in from Florida on Friday and did get to see her before she passed and Hollywood will be staying for the week.

The funeral is on Wednesday, so if you could remember PJ and her family in your thoughts and prayers I am certain it will be appreciated.

Hope you guys are well. TTYL.

BBN thanks for the update, and PJ I am so sorry for your loss. :sad1: I'll be thinking of you and praying for you this week. I know this is a hard time for you.

:grouphug: PJ - so sorry to hear of your families loss - you will be in my thoughts and prayers - hugs, may you all find peace.

Thanks for the update, E. So sorry to hear that.

Sending you heartfelt sympathy, Lauren :grouphug:

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

No One Can Know

No one can know just what you've lost;
No one can understand the cost;
But when you feel your energy drain,
Please count on us to help ease your pain.

Let us help you cope with grief;
We hope with time you'll feel relief.
We can't replace the one who's gone,
But let our concern help you carry on.

Joining in! 4:30ish AM here - I decided to start sneezing... you cant sleep thru sneezing!! This just means I'm going to get a goog nap in later today!!

Mony Loved Cape May! when you first walk in there is the area for desserts - I remember a chocolate dessert, a Key Lime dessert and cookies - and we went back twice.. the buffet is in a square - one side had the clam bake, fish of the day... one side had the side salads, pastas, shrimp cocktail, one side had warm pastas, potatoes etc one side had beef, breads - I didnt discover how good the prime rib/beef was till I was so full with the other areas of this buffet - I dont like fish, or clams, but I definately loved this buffet - its in the Beach Club - which you can walk from the International Gateway - or take the boat from Epcot exit and get off at BC/YC We went for dinner, there were no characters... I think they have so many different side salads they change...

Celery I'm thinking of going to see that movie..

all this talk of food!! I'm getting hungry, Olive Garden, Outback, cookies.... dh and dd decided to make homemade cinnamon rolls - what a lot of work!! and time!!!

Thanks Sandy! Smooches!

Hey there, Moovers! :wave2: What's shakin'?

Yesterday we went to Mt. Vernon, in honor of President's day! It was really fun. And they had a little parade and stuff. The new museum there is awesome!

Sexylexy: I read the Other Boelyn Girl too, and loved it. I can't WAIT for the movie! It looks like a good one!

Marita, sorry about your mom, I hope you get to go see her. It would give you peace of mind, I'm sure.

Javamom, congrats on your DVC and on your AP! I currently have an AP too, and I feel so cool! :cool1: Where did you buy in?

Cheryl, how are you, lady? Remind me where you live again? I wanna say Pennsylvania?

MO: How are you feeling, my friend? Have you recovered from your pneumonia? I had it once when I was about 16. I was very sick for WEEKS. The only good thing is that I lost like 20 pounds, which is a lot at that age! It is so much more difficult as a mommy who has kids to take care of. I wish you the best, Mo.

Celery, I really wanna see 27 dresses too! Thanks for giving it your stamp of approval.

Cy, I have not heard much about Jumpers other than the name. Glad your family liked it. Sorry you didn't! :)

Howdy, everyone else! Hope you are having a great weekend!

Bonnie: Hi and thanks.

PJ: So sorry about your grandmother. You are in my prayers.

Marita: Sorry about your mom. Hope you get to see her soon and you are in my prayers too.

PJ, Glad Hollywood make it in time.

Thanks for keeping up posted, Elisabeth.

Thanks, Monica and everyone for the well wishes for my mom.

Beautiful poem, Moo. I agree, our friends here help make things easier, or at least give comfort. So a :grouphug: all around.

Hi Bonnie, we bought at Boardwalk Villas. Going there in June.

We stayed at BWV in August! Nice digs! :lovestruc I love the location.

:rotfl: Yeah, that was pretty funny the way that pic turned out! We were laughing so hard. It looked spooky, like something off of Most Haunted.

Yay! congrats on the day off from work! I have to go to a training day, which is lame. But I might skive off half of it!

PJ, I'm really sorry for your loss.

Melinda- How do you pronounce "Boelyn" ? "bowlin"? What is the edgey subject matter?

Peej- sorry sweetie!!!!

Java- yay!!!! sooo jealous!

Marita- I want my nails done! I do my own brows because I'm picky

Moo- It's luck of the draw and the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary Third Edition Newly Revised and Updated (as of 1995) with complete list of legal 2 letter words!

I have jury duty this week :scared: "GUILTY!" "Yes, I believe in the death penalty" ...UGH! They swear you In!

I think I'll wear jeans? Carry a big gulp? Tourquoise eyeshadow? Tank top with bra straps? high heeled flip flops? Cell phone with extry loud "Baracouda" ring tone ;)

Hurry up and put me out of my misery, please, Wendy!!! I've never been walloped quite so badly! :rotfl2:

I have six days during March where I have to call in to see if I need to report for jury duty - I'm not really looking forward to it, other than possibly being off work. But I guess I should consider myself lucky being that this is the first time I've been called other than for Federal District Court. And there were no trials scheduled that time.

Sounds like a plan, Wendy. Maybe throw in a temporaty tattoo!

And be sure to chew gum!!!!!!!!!!

Woke up from a shortish nap, now I have to fold clothes from a basket to make room for the next load from the dryer, so I can put in the clothes I have to hang up on hangers. I still have to eat something, dangit.
At least all the dishes are done.

I don't think I can do my own eyebrows anymore, with wearing glasses to see amything close up. And it's cheap, $7 My spacebar is not working well, very annoying!

Hubby got some extra Wendy's Chily yesterday, I may hve that, but really, nothing sonds appealing to me now. So I better tackle the laundry for now and figure food out later. Food is such a bother :sad2:

I want a maid!!!!! (Yeah, right, not gonna happen)

Which reminds me.always so uplifting when I hear stories about offering people jobs at Dsiney, and they just LAUGH at the salary offer!. Cause you know, you can go to Disney free fpr a few times a year and go to a rec center, and that makes up for $50,000 in salary difference. :sad2:

It had been a while for me! I used to play all the time. I'm just getting my groove back...:cool2: Do you have "the dictionary"? I also use the scrabulous one. It's (very) helpful for me. I'm now using all my words in common everyday conversation. :confused3

Are you involved with more than one game? Are we gonna do another after this? :yay: :yay: :yay: Twinkie needs to get her carcass over on face book!!!!

I usually have four or five games going at a time, Wendy. I LOVE playing multiple games because if someone is under the weather or busy, you still have other people to play with. I usually use the dictionary that is built in to Scrabulous if I need to verify whether a word is legal. So many times when I'm trying to figure out a word to play it says my "made up" words are OK!!!

BTW, I toadily agree with your Twinkie comment!!! But, alas, she'd rather write haiku these days at that place where you don't post  (NOTwink!)

Moo, I toadily suck at scrabulous. Can I watch there? I think I hear not, but I thought I would ask again.

Got my work clothes hung up and put away, and still need to eat something, but I have no idea what. Nothing sounds appealing.........

Maybe that will give me an excuse to call in sick tomorrow?

Marita - Actually, I think you can only see completed games if you have the Scrabulous application on Facebook. Go into the Scrabulous application and click on "MY Friends" and you can see completed games. Click on the underlined set of numbers (where it says who won each game) and you can see the completed game board. I don't think there is any way to see a game in progress though :confused3

Thanks, Moo, I dont really care to see completed games though.

I am really tired tonight...........

Carcass. Heh. Too true. I will tell all y'all my sad story since it is a modern day morality play.

Why Twinkie Isn't Facebookin' Yet or Proof that I didn't pay attention at Math Camp

So. I have an ancient laptop that formerly was the DH's work laptop. Thus long ago geeky people set it up, taught it to toss it's cookies and be safe on the internet. Its job was to give him internet acess. It has no memory to speak of. He used and abused it. It is cracked. Literally. And the keyboard is wonky so I have lots of spellun errors. Also I have a slightly less ancient desktop that is MINE MINE MINE. Its job is to play on the disboards, write quizzes on mitosis and store the bajillion pictures of my darling children. I am the geek team here and I had grown lax with maintence and boring things like keeping the firewall up to date and burning cds of the darling children pictures.
Somehow the desktop got a NASTY virus.... right before we were in the hospital with RSV with the baby. This virus downloaded OTHER viruses and worms and probably a fungus or two. I had no time to deal with it and my knowledge is very limited- everytime I got rid of some problem, four more sprouted. It got so bad that it was turning itself off before you could load a single program- so I couldn't run anti-virals and I couldn't copy my pictures to anything (including the laptop which couldn't even hold them if I wanted to). So I have been desktopless since the end of Dec 2007. My dad was here this weekend and now I have a desktop again.... but only because he took out the brains and put in a new squeaky clean one. I haven't even installed word, excel or outlook. I have downloaded the 365 pictures I have taken since Dec.

He took my old brain home to try to extract the pictures. If he isn't sucessfull I will have lost EVERY thing I haven't burnt on CD which everything since 11/05.

I KNOW. I am an idiot. I am just sick about it. Of course I haven't printed any pictures since 2003 either.

The moral of the story: BACK UP your FILEs buttercup. And I have been scared to go anywhere on the internet I haven't been before... which includes facebook.

However I now have a fancy smacny norton firewall and I have banned my teenager (cause of course I blame the sites he visits for this trauma) from using the computer for a while so maybe I will set up an account in my "free" time so Wendee, Lynette and Moo can whup my carcass at The Game Which Can Not Be Named.

Hi everyone. It took me quite a while, but I read back over everything I missed this weekend.

LilL, so very sorry about your grandma...I will keep your entire family in my prayers. We'll talk soon.

Marita, sorry your mom is not doing well....prayers for your family as well.

E, sounds like the teen boy takeover of the Crazynurse Ranch was a smashing success. Natch. ;) Glad you survived it.

Moo and Monica, sorry I took so long to take my turns at our games. It's been a craaaazy couple of days.

I can't believe it's Sunday night already. The weekend went by in the blink of any eye..........

ETA: TWINK!!!!!!!!!! Soooo goog to see you!!!!! Sorry about your 'puter trauma. May I suggest Snapfish for all photo storage needs? If you order at least one print per year, they'll store ALL the photos you upload. It's very secure and reliable, plus their price per print is pretty darn good too.

I'm Lalijack, and I approve this rambling endorsement. Thank you!
