Moo- "Go" pirate:

Everyones- Giss what?! :yay: :yay: :yay:
Dh is insulating the basement and sheetrocking so I'm *this* close to getting my craft room! See, a wee little change of plans. The boys will go downstairs and my craft room will upstairs (in their current room). So my clutter piles will be organized in a crafty fashion. I actually hear Herold Angles singing in the background of this good news!

Great news, Wendy! Sounds much more convenient with having to watch little ones to stay upstairs. We want PICTURES when you are done!

Lynette....HSM2 on Ice? Good ValenTimes gift! :rolleyes1

Weeeell, truth is it was MY suggestion that we forego gifts in lieu of HSM on Ice (it's HSM and HSM2, btw). Since we just had my birthdaypalooza, and we now have several big events coming up beginning this weekend, I figured that it was a mite selfish to ask for the usual Valentine's hoopla. Besides, this might be used in my later efforts to lobby for a trip to the World ("But sweetie, we haven't been extravagant at all this year! And we did celebrate our milestone birthdays AND our tenth anniversary!") Think he'll bite?

What a day today was! Arrived at work this morning to find that there was NO HEAT in the office! It was 55 degrees! And since Crazybossman is in NY for a trade show, I couldn't get in touch with him or the building management! So I made an executive decision and closed early. I had everyone do as much as we could, and then I sent everybody home early. Having to wear 2 shirts, a sweater and my coat at my desk is NOT conducive to productivity! In retaliation for Crazybossman being incommunicado, I am considering taking a sick day on Thursday. That'll learn 'im!

Oh My Gosh that sounds like a lot of fun. I think I want a birthdaypalooza this year! Which is Sept. 13th FYI. :rolleyes1

I'm spending my day sewing and hitting "refresh" for my 3 active ;) games I got roped into.

I totally need a life!

DH asked me today if I could get march 13-14 off. Cause he is going to call about a 3 day Disney cruise!!!!!! us and the kids, but it all depends on if we can get the CM discount and a cabin with a balcony. so I am not getting too excited yet.
But I may have to check out the cruise board tonight a little bit....... just in case.

I have not eaten at all today, and I am starving, but I can think of absolutely NOTHING that appeals to me right now. So I sit here and starve.:sad2:

Oooh, Marita, is it too early for me to have cruise envy?

Yes, BigL, way too early, might fall through. Too many "IF's". I'll know more tomorrow

OK, I decided on cream of mushroom soup and toast for dinner. So I started the soup and turned it off to go take a break, LOL.

Cruise Envy?

As in "he ACTS like Suri's father?"

bwuahahaha

I crack myself up. Which is good because to my children I sound like the parents in Charlie Brown. Did I mention I had a housefull today? No school or mail in honor of dead presidents. So we had three 13 year old boys and three 6 year old girls and of course Goldenchild and Grasshopper.

Lex- I did see that post on the Peeps thread. I was lurking while eating sugar cookies. My house is a diet mine field right now. My mom left homemade bread, 4 kinds of cookies and we still have birthday cake. Plus my wicked romantic Valentime of 2 lbs of dark chocolate.

I finally did enough around the house to take a break, Ms. 50 Extra Points!

I've done all the vacuuming and straightening I can stand for the day. But I did get the new area rug down in the living room and it looks OK. It strategically covers the entire area in front of the sofa where Jasper chewed a hole in the carpeting :scared: and looks semi-fashionable.

Fingers crossed for your cruise, Marita! I was too tired to cook, so I heated up some soup too.

:rotfl2: I have Disney Cruise envy too! And dark chocolate envy. Think I'll finally make those brownies . . .

Sounds like you had a really busy day, Twink. Hopefully you'll be back to normal tomorrow.

L, our game is over - want to start another? Goog call on leaving work early :thumbsup2

Twink, you crack ME up too! All this humour, and an audience who prefers Dora the Explorer. Tsk, tsk.

Moo, I started a new game for us. I got my astarstar kicked this time out...maybe I'll fare better going forward. (Take THAT, WT!)

So while the Dis went down briefly, I went to check on Delfwife's page. For those of you who read her reports on the Dis years ago, she is a legend, the originator of "LYMI".

Anyway, so I went to read her blog, and she is moving to Florida soonishly. This whole post is hilarious, and all her stories are great.

Here is the link to the Deciding to move to Florida blog entry, read it, it's funny:

Actually, it's he second post on that page. the long one.

OK, I better go eat something now..........

Yayyyy!!!

Speaking of getting an astarstar kicking . . . have you played Wendy yet, L? :lmao:

Nope....not yet.

NOTE TO UMA: If you're up for it, I'd love to add you to my list of opponents. Occasionally, I even get beyond adding an "s" to Moo's words. Heh. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Uma, don't believe the "s" comment! Lynette is a very challenging player!!!

Here's some sports-ish talk to off-set the Scrabulous talk: DH is still thrilled that Ryan Newman beat Junior (and a bunch of other non-Dodge drivers) in the Daytona 500 yesterday. Wah, wah WAHHHHH.

Sorry Wendy, I'd love to play more often, but I was at school. I played though.:rolleyes1

I was held against my will and forced to watch the last 9 laps of the race and I still couldn't tell you who won.:confused3

I'm always willing to play. It's my goal to always have an active game(s).

I agree Marita. Delswife is pretty funny. Never understood the LY/MI thing. anyone care to clarify?

Dropped the dinning plan today. The price of our trip looks so pretty now.

Ah, there she is...my other tormentor! :rotfl:

Sorry, Moo and Mony, my head just hasn't been in my games lately. But I promise to be a more worthy opponent! Pinky promise, even!

No problem, Mony

LY/MI! :lovestruc

Heck of a way for the Delswife family to make a decision to move to Florida, Marita!

Which reminds me, have Nebo and Smidgy returned from their Florida visit yet? I need to go check their trip report again.
