Goog Evening, MOOvers! Relaxing day here. Hope you all enjoyed your Saturday :goodvibes I haven't felt much like posting today :confused3 I did catch up on some TV episodes on-line that I'd missed. I  being able to do that!

Why can I almost never sleep in? ((yawn))

You guys need to wake up earlier. I get bored here all by myself.

Lil G[/B].....I'm trying to picture you sitting at your computer in the middle of the night reminiscing, posting pictures, and philosophizin. Your family is beautiful and I love that you are so in love with them all. Lil Miss Cutie Pie is a lucky woman!
Lex, if you were a night owl like many of us, you'd have MUCH less trouble sleepin in! ;)

And AMEN on your remarks to Lil G :thumbsup2

Nothing new and exciting to post here. Just thought I'd check in and let you all know I'm still alive and well(ish). Last Saturday Ethan and Kaleb started to come down with colds and now I've got a scratchy throat and stuffy nose. So all week we haven't been able to see the new baby!!!!!!!!!! Isaac also has a little stuffy nose. Thankfully nothing serious. He is getting so big, I just can't believe it. I was looking at him in his car seat the other day and if he stretches his legs out his feet are about at the end of the seat. He is just too long!

Hope you and the kiddos feel better soon so you can go visiting.

Things are coming along at the house. Nothing big has happened this week, just small things that have to be done. Well, the ac went in, I suppose that's pretty big. ;) Tuesday are cabinets. Which I am anxious for. The ones we chose were no longer available because he changed cabinets guys mid house building. Then the ones he showed me turned out to be the wrong ones. In the end I had 3 choices. Light oak, dark oak or white. I HATE OAK! So I have been bummed about that and I'm just hoping they aren't too ugly. We're still hoping for a end of the month completion. I have only packed 2 boxes so far. I just don't know where to start.

Can't live down there without AC! I have maple cabinets and would personally rather have oak. Hope you end up with some decent cabinets. They can really "make" a kitchen. We're all rooting for an on-time completion :grouphug:

Today is the annual church picnic. Which means I'll be telling people "no" all day. I keep Isaac in the sling to keep him away from germs, we don't want him being passed around all day. He loves his sling, but if he is awake he likes to sit up looking out. I call him my little "Roo".

:rotfl2: I'm LOLing over Lil Roo!!!

Moo- :flower3: (again, I'm sorry! I just got lucky tiles twice in a row...but I have semi-crap at the moment.) :flower3:
Well, it's not ALL luck of the draw  It's keeping me humble, Wendy!

QUOTE=babynurse1;23238784]1. Yes? I am very remorseful?:rolleyes1

:rotfl:

Hope you survived the birthday party, E!!! You should have called Peej in for reinforcement purposes. To counter all that testosterone :cool2:

Marita, did you get your nails done today?! Or were you cooking up some of your DS's fave foods?

Sandy, I hope the ice is good and solid on that lake. I am always reading stories about the Coast Guard having to rescue stranded people ice fishing on the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron. I guess thats not a problem with small inland lakes though.

Cy, here are some redneck horseshoes to go with your grill!!!!!

Hi, looking for some help.

I wasted about an hour on the rest. boards looking for anything on Cape May. I think we are not going to go with the dining plan, so I'm trying to pick a few nice places to eat, new too.

Anyways, their menu on wdwinfo.com is very brief. Has anyone eaten there? What dya think? What was served. It says American style buffet and clam bake? I just need a little more detail. Thanks.

Someone come over and eat all these cookies that mysteriously invaded my kitchen. I just wanted to be good mom for the day and baked.

I am actually here at night, and can join in on the evening posting frenzy.

Mony, I think Sandy just went to Cape May when she was at WDW in January. Sounded like a pretty decent spread. Here's a sample menu on Deb Wills' site: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_cmc.htm

Mmmmmm, cookies!

I have had a brownie mix sitting on the counter for the past couple days but haven't made them yet. Maybe tomorrow . . .

Evening, Moovers!

Moo, yes,I finally did get my nails done today. I called around 4, they said come in around 6:15. So by around 7:30, I was done. Got eyebrows done too. But I missed out on my usual Saturday afternoon nap.

No cooking for DS today, he and DH went to watch daughter referree a Lacrosse game, and then they all went to eat dinner at Olive Garden. DS brought me some breadsticks though. Anyway, I made myself some fried eggs over rye bread with ham and cheese, went to watch Trading Spaces, and promptly fell asleep. DS is out like a light on the couch. I tried waking him a couple of times (not very hard), and decided to cover him with a blanket and let him sleep. ETA: He finally woke up and went home now.

Oh, DS took my watch in to finally get a new battery (it died over Christmas) to atone for chasing aftter him all over town yesterday with the wrong address. I hate shopping, so I had not made it to Wallyworld yet to get a new one.

I think once DD is moved out, I am gong to buy a Murphy bed for her room. Enough space for 2 visitors but you can put it up and have space.

Gosh, I am getting old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, this has been a really slow day here, and it's not even a holiday!

Oh, Lil G, forgot to say, thanks for posting all those great pictures of your babies and lil miss sweetie pie!!

Cy, here are some redneck horseshoes to go with your grill!!!!!

I saw that photo when I was looking for Baby Nurse's grill. I guess her grill has more than 1 use;) She must be a smart one!!:rotfl2:

She is one up to date redneck chick - Couch Swing, Billy Bob pacifiers, and a grill that has a built in horse shoe!!!:rotfl: :lmao:

I amuse myself pretty easily.

Took DW and 2 of the kids (our oldest had to work tonight) to dinner & a movie. We saw Jumpers - the kids and DW liked it, I thought it was just OK. The ending left you hanging. Then we stopped by the Home Depot so I can complete some of my Honey Do's. Then we went to the Outback for dinner. I had the rack of lamb - boy was it gooooooooooooood!!!

Hope everyone had a great day!!!

Hey all. I went to see 27 dresses yesterday. It was really good.

Yes, it's 3:30. I went to bed early and just woke up at 2:30. So I've been doing laundry and trying to do homework, but it's frustrating me. So I came to see y'all! ;)

Anyway, one of my teachers just now (as in 11 pm on a Saturday night) posted feedback for the past three weeks. Basically the whole class has to redo portions of their projects -
why couldn't she tell us this as we go along?
Now I have no desire to go back and fix what I did wrong.
Since I'm leaving to go out of town and I only have Access on my home computer, I'm in a bit of a pickle.
Grr.
I sent her an email letting her know that I will be a week late turning things in.

I was all set to whip out my homework, but knowing that I've been doing it wrong takes away my motivation.

So I'll go read twilight instead (Yes, I finally bought it! I KNOW!).
Nighty night!

Joining in! 4:30ish AM here - I decided to start sneezing... you cant sleep thru sneezing!! This just means I'm going to get a goog nap in later today!!

Mony Loved Cape May! when you first walk in there is the area for desserts - I remember a chocolate dessert, a Key Lime dessert and cookies - and we went back twice.. the buffet is in a square - one side had the clam bake, fish of the day... one side had the side salads, pastas, shrimp cocktail, one side had warm pastas, potatoes etc one side had beef, breads - I didnt discover how good the prime rib/beef was till I was so full with the other areas of this buffet - I dont like fish, or clams, but I definately loved this buffet - its in the Beach Club - which you can walk from the International Gateway - or take the boat from Epcot exit and get off at BC/YC We went for dinner, there were no characters... I think they have so many different side salads they change...

Celery I'm thinking of going to see that movie..

all this talk of food!! I'm getting hungry, Olive Garden, Outback, cookies.... dh and dd decided to make homemade cinnamon rolls - what a lot of work!! and time!!!

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

So...Mammoth Cave? Glad to see some takers!

Mimi and I watched Becoming Jane last night....pretty good!

Also I saw a commercial yesterday for The Other Boleyn Girl which I am currently reading. I guess it comes out in about 2 weeks? (I better git to reading as it's 600+ pages.) When the book begins Mary Boleyn is 13 and Ann is 15ish. Which is gross and creepy considering the story line. I guess that's why they had adults play the parts instead.

Wendee....You can get a really cheap SW flight to Nash Vegas and Cel can give you a ride to Cave City!

Moo....I will try to stay up later. Actually I stayed up til after 11 last night and it didn't make any difference.

Sandy....Emily is sneezing too! 20+ sneezes yesterday...she was counting. Take a Benadryl and go back to sleep.

Marita
....Next special occasion, ask for one of those watches that's solar powered and updates itself to the official time automatically. That's what I got DH for Christmas last year and he loves it! No batteries required. Ever.

EVERYBODY HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. --John 1:14

Wendy in Nashvegas!!!! What fun! They'll never know what hit them!

I'm off to church.
See y'all later!

where are these caves......to far for us .......I am assuming...

Hubby and I just did Megaras nails........it is hard to hold onto a 60 lb dog that says..... NOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYYY ..dont touch my toes....they were getting to long.......it costs 20.00 to have them done so we do them ourselves as she is less traumatized then at the vets......

We were just figuring out our May trip......its not that far away when you get into the double digits........we can hardly wait........I am anxious because I am looking at all that snow outside my windows and the ice.......hard to walk on ice.

will probably hit some of the stores tomorrow.....they always have good sales and last year I got my barn coat from LL beans for 19.99 instead of 59.00 ....gotta love a good sale.......I need to get some unmentionables and a new bathing suit......i said the heck with it and I am not going to try to lose that weight....makes me more upset trying to do it then to say the heck with it....

have a great day everyone:grouphug:

It's raining and melting here in the Mitten yet again.

Yep, Cy - that bbn . . . she's a versatile one!!!!!!

Melinda, I get what you're saying. On those rare occasions when I have to get up early (for me), I can never go to sleep earlier :sad2: It's really hard to turn into a morning person if you're a night person and vice versa, I think. I could never have done factory work where you have to work a swing shift.

Lexington would be about an 8-hour drive for me. I couldn't do the cave stuff, but I sure could join in on other meet activities!!! I could pick Sandy up in Fort Wayne and come on down :dance3:

However, the one summer during college that I worked the night shift, my Grandma found me sleeping in the bathtub the next morning after my first night of work :rotfl2: After that I adjusted pretty quickly.

Marie, our puppies are big babies about having their toenails trimmed. I guess we really traumatized them the first time we trimmed them. Now I take them to Petsmart and pay the $12 each every 3 weeks or so.

Happy shopping!

We have several MOOvers MIA this weekend. Hope all is well :grouphug:

Nabbie, hope you had a safe trip.

Hello MOOvers,

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday.

I just talk to my brother and SIL, does not sound like mom is doing very well at all. Doesn't want to eat, is very weak, can't stand (although her hip is ok), and is getting confused easily. Like the nurses carried her to sit at a table, and when my brother got there, she said she had been sitting there since 1AM, which of course is not true. Things are still up in the air about a nursing home too, nobody knows what is going to happen. I feel so helpless here, being thousands of miles away, but there is nothing I can do anyway.

I better go check on plane tickets, just in case.

Oh, Marita  Sounds like a visit to see your mom might help your peace of mind. And maybe hers too. I think it is fairly common for people of that age to become confused. My Grandma did, but she had some mini-strokes too. After she was in the medical care facility for a while, things settled down and she went back to her old self.

If it were me, I would definitely go. You must have a fair amount of vacation time, right? I'm sure your brother and SIL would appreciate having you there for a while, too.

Thanks, Moo!

Actually, I think me coming for a visit now would just add to the stress level. Just have to wait a while until things get settled some more.

I just went to the site for the charter airline I have flown for 30 years (direct Orlando to Duesseldorf), and Orlando is no longer listed as a point of departure:scared1: So I tried to choose Atlanta, and it kept coming back with Columbus  Plus the results were overlapping so you could not read anything. The finally I got a "technical difficulties" message.

I need to fine another option too, that is not charter, since they only leave once a week. I need one I can go on quickly in case of emergeny. What are the good sites for airline prices? I never looked for any before.

Marita, is Dusseldorf the closest airport?

I would suggest going to google.com and entering "orlando dusseldorf flights" or something similar to see what cheap flights come up. It looks like British Airways flies there from MCO.

Thanks, Moo,that got me some results, although everyone seems to have technical difficulties today. Anyway, I bookmarked it.

There was one offer for $265 round trip:eek: I think I would be scared to death to fly on that plane...........

Marita - I have used cheapoair.com. I figure out which flight is cheapest and then go directly to that airlines sight. I usually find it cheaper there. So sorry about your mom.

BBN - Yes, I have had a much more relaxing weekend to recover from my marathon week. DS has checked in, and he is doing fine in TN with his youth group. I'm amazed that he called at all. :rotfl: Just trying to get DD better. She is stuffy.

:cool1: Yippieee, I am celebrating my first DVC AP purchase!! I am soo excited! :cool1:

Thanks, Allie, I bookmarked the site!!!!!

Not going anytime soon that I know of yet, I just want to be prepared.

Hey there, Moovers! :wave2: What's shakin'?

Yesterday we went to Mt. Vernon, in honor of President's day! It was really fun. And they had a little parade and stuff. The new museum there is awesome!

Sexylexy: I read the Other Boelyn Girl too, and loved it. I can't WAIT for the movie! It looks like a good one!

Marita, sorry about your mom, I hope you get to go see her. It would give you peace of mind, I'm sure.

Javamom, congrats on your DVC and on your AP! I currently have an AP too, and I feel so cool! :cool1: Where did you buy in?

Cheryl, how are you, lady? Remind me where you live again? I wanna say Pennsylvania?

MO: How are you feeling, my friend? Have you recovered from your pneumonia? I had it once when I was about 16. I was very sick for WEEKS. The only good thing is that I lost like 20 pounds, which is a lot at that age! It is so much more difficult as a mommy who has kids to take care of. I wish you the best, Mo.

Celery, I really wanna see 27 dresses too! Thanks for giving it your stamp of approval.

Cy, I have not heard much about Jumpers other than the name. Glad your family liked it. Sorry you didn't! :)

Howdy, everyone else! Hope you are having a great weekend!
