Thanks Twinkee!

He must've gotten held up at work. The kids keep getting in the car and buckling up. I say...."You are gonna be sick to death of that backseat, now get out".

I've kept Pissy up with no nappy-poo so she'll sleep blissfully ;) for a couple of the hours. Again, I'm optimistic.

Please pray that my house won't be burned down. My cats wont be locked in the linen closet. He won't try to microwave any metallic fast food wrappers on high for 6 minutes. No candles will be lit. No fire, flame, heat, or fun of any kind. Remember Jesus is watching you! Yes I said that to him. Practically an engraved invitation for a kegger with a couple dozen of those Mardi Gras girls gone wild. Also, remember to pray my dogs won't be left out in the cold suffering from frost bite huddled together found dead in a frozen heap.

THat' IT, I'm staying!!!!!! :sad1: :guilty: :sad2:

First, I thought you said good bye hours ago!

Second, they have kegs in Utah? Or would he have to drive out of state to obtain said keg? (Honestly, not that I really need to know, but that is a somewhat serious question due to my curiosity.)

Sage advice in your edit line, RobIn. I'm sort of stewing a little. Only because if I was the late one....

Yes we have kegs, what kind of Utopia do you think this is? Course the alcohol % is half of that found in surrounding states. Actually....I have NO idea :confused3 I was reared in California. Reared? Is that still a word? Like the word "eldest" expired in 1944. Yes I'm rambling. It'll save DH's life when he walks in the door. Watch, he saved an old lady from a car fire or rescued a moose from nearly drowning in a frozen lake or something. That's my guy. Saving meese and old ladies even though his family has been packed and ready for 2 hours.

I know Wendy. I do. But, really, you don't want to start a road trip mad. It needs to happen naturally when one of your delightful children keeps complaining that another delightful child is touching them or "keeps looking at them funny" or when you all get hungry and cranky but can't stop to eat because you've got to make time! ;)

Yeah, I'm not really a button pusher. It takes a LOT to set me off. So don't worry! Like you're all going to sit around worrying about our sanity. popcorn::

We usually say a family prayer at the start of any trip. To arrive safely, to enjoy one another's company, to show gratitude for the blessing of a 'free' trip, for Jordan's safety, etc. :flower3:

Uh oh, Norah is now asleep with her shoes and coat and sippy cup. Dagnabbit.

YIKES, Wendy, you are STILL home?????????

I sure hope DH saved an old lady. Have a great trip!!!!!

Speaking of old ladies, my brother called tonight. They found my mom on the floor in her apartment. She fell and broke her hip. (she is almost 94). So she is in the hospital now, scheduled for a hip replacement, my brother didn't know if tonight or tomorrow. It was already 11pm local time. I dont know what is going to happen in the future..... I think she may be too old to live alone anymore, and she lives on the second floor with a wickedly winding staircase, and has been complaining about trouble walking lately, so I am thinking it may be time for a home for her. But those are sooooo expensive and hard to get into. Any prayers and pixie dust are appreciated.

PJ, hope you feel better soon!:grouphug:

Alrighty....praying for no frozen dog piles, burned down house, keggers, or girls gone wild.

GET ON THE ROAD ALREADY! He'll catch up!?

I'm watching the show Moonlight on the computer at cbs.com. Catching up so to speak since I don't watch TV. It's a vampire show and the guy reminds me a little of Edward. Maybe I'll watch it for reals tonight.

If 94 does not make you an old lady, how old do you have to be?
It was a transitional statement..........

I am so sorry Marita.......You know that it is hard to place them in nursing homes but if she was here they would do it because she cant be on her own...My mom sure was upset at first and asked to come home many times.....then she would settle down.....Well anyways......hope her hip heals and she is not in any pain........

So?

Marita! 94, poor thing. That sounds so painful.

I now have a huge headache. But Jordan went to he "libary" and got us some comedy CD's. One is called "Shout out to my Peeps" with a rainbow of Marshmallow Peeps all over the cover. He said there was some "language" on one of them...but I think I'll keep it to see how many f-bombs my DH will let pass through the parent-o-meter before he notices. Heh. YOU KNOW I'M KIDDING, riiiiight?

Wen-dee!!! Um, maybe you'll make it to the edge of town before you have to stop for the night. :upsidedow

Wendy- drive all night! You can sleep on Its a Small World.

Maybe we should all tell car trip stories.....

which one do you want: Fire & Rain or Cry Through Misery?

Thanks, Pumba and Wendy!

I will try to call her tomorrow once I find out more.

This is Kinky Kitty Kat (Jordan) and Jesus may be watching me, but only because he'll be at the party not turning water into wine, but into cold Coors lite.
Yea party at my house with Utahs famous 2% alcohol kegs....lets get sh*tfaced!!!! Shhh, don't tell Uma, she'll crap. :scared1: Tell her I'm at bible study::yes::
Does anybody know if it's ok to feed dogs Orange Chicken?

Jordan, Orange chicken is just fine for the dogs, as long as you want to spend your allowance to steam clean the carpet!

Well, I've been at my sisters since 3. I came home around 7 to shower and bathe the baby. She went to a friends house who is a labor nurse and she checked her. Still 4CM, but softer and the baby's head has dropped down. I predict that she will go to bed and wake up at 1:30 with strong contractions. We'll head to the hospital and she will deliver shortly after arrival. I hope! Her contractions were 4 minutes apart when I left, but still not painful.

I stupidly drank 2 cups of full strength coffee, which I shouldn't do since caffeine is poison to me AND it will probably end up keeping Isaac up all night. STUPID!!!!!!!!!! :headache:

I can feel the blood pumping through my veins and am shaking like there is a earthquake. :goodvibes

Twinkie - We have had to deal with hard parent things with our boys. Raising kids is hard work.

I hope you can come to an agreement with WT about that retainer. ;)

Wendy - I hope you're on the road and things are going well. You might wanna have a talk with that boy of yours about his potty mouth. :scared1:

:wave2: Hiya MOOvers! Just flying through to say hey!

Happy birthday, Sandy! Hope you had a great one. You DO realize that having a b-day on a Friday entitles you to an entire weekend of celebrations and indulgences? Now git to it! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Marita, sending prayers for your mom.

LilL, hugs and virtual chicken soup for you.

MommyP, yay on the house progress! Sending positive thoughts and prayers for your sis.

Twinkie, this is how it starts. First your child is absconding with a classmates' erasers and pencils. Flash forward 15 years and she's a founding member of the PLA (the Prairie Liberation Army), and her face is on a WANTED poster at the local post office. A slippery slope, indeed.

Off to dreamland I go! Night, y'all!
