Happy Pancake Day everyone. I think I will make them for dinner aka supper too.

We are in full mode party planning for the THREE small twinkies who are born in February. It sounds like a goog idea to have the birthdays clustered but it is not. The twins are having a medievel princess-valentine-craft party. I kid you not. Natasha sounds like our kind of girl because they have been planning this thing for about a year.

Hey- Monica- why is it bad to be sick on Groundhogs day? does that mean you will be sick for 6 more weeks????

Also-what is up with St. Patricks Day this year? I heard it had been moved to my birthday. Or is that only in Ireland?

St Patrick's Day lands in Holy week so the church wants you to celebrate earlier I think.

Not Irish so I don't really go all out for St Patrick's Day, I might wear green that is it. And don't like beer so no green beer for me....

Twinkie-- sounds like you will have your hands full with birthday parties. At least the girls will have the same friend and class don't they, you don't have to triple the amount of kids invited.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We just like to keep the rest of the country on their toes. The problem is, we are too close to major cities who change their times so does the state follow Louisville time, Cincy time, Chicago time, St. Louis time? This is the debate. And yes, it is still going on. And I will admit, I do not know what time zone I am in once I leave my own personal stomping grounds.
My favorite places in Indiana are the counties on EST that don't take part in daylight savings. Like Scottsburg.

DTD: What's so great about Scottsburg? Oh believe me, I've been there a plenty. Dh used to work for the Honda plant when we first got married many moons ago. I never lived there and now we live even further and he works elsewhere. But, we did meet some people from Japan who are now life long friends and they want us to come and visit them. That would be soooo cool. p.s. I am still working on the box of JuJy Fruits as we speak, and I certainly did think of Elaine in "Seinfeld" as I typed that. Goog job.

I'm off to pay attention to my children, since they are getting off the bus and trickling into the house. And tonight I am going to play volleyball. That's always fun.

And I had a nice lunch with my gma. My SIL, Bridget and my lil niece, ended up joining us too. We had a great time. My SIL and I even talked about Bobby Knight and the Super Bowl...for a minute. She tolerates my sports talk only so long.

I know what the "T" in DTD stands for. I learned it from one of y'all here on the thread, and when I met him back in August I said "Hi T-name. Nice to meet you." And he didn't say "HI bbn or Elisabeth, nice to meet you too" He said "How did you know my name?!?!" But then he said "Hi Elisabeth, nice to meet you too."

The kids are all excited because they get pancakes at school today. At home we have them tomorrow on Ash Wednesday since you are not allowed meat.

UMA-- It is always Pancake day before Ash Wednesday because you are suppose to use up all your staples in the house to get ready for a fast. Good thing we only fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday now. I could be pretty skinny if I did fast for 40 days though and wouldn't need no stinking Weight control Oatmeal either...
