Monty Python fans?

I just got the complete box set for christmas from my dad I can't wait cause Spamalot is coming to Dallas sometime this year
I got my dad as gag gifts last christmas a black knight that you can pull his arms and legs off and a plushy holy grenade from antioch I couldn't find the killer bunny

When I was about 16 or 17 (mid-80s) my best friend's brother was into MP, and he had a MP cassette that we used to play in the car all the time. It was hilarious! We nearly got into a few accidents driving along and singing and laughing our heads off! I have no clue what tape it was, and I don't remember much of it except that it had "Eric The Half a Bee" on it. So, so funny!

British humour is so funny when I watch/listen to it, but somehow I don't watch/listen very often.

Oh man I love Monty Python. I, too, love the dead parrot skit. "He's not dead. He's pining for the fjords." is one of my favorite quotes that I use whenever we come across a road kill. My favorite MP movie has to be "The Life of Brian", though. So many great quotes that could apply to the Middle East today. Yes, I know I have a sick sense of humor. That's part of my overwhelming appeal.

I have no clue what tape it was, and I don't remember much of it except that it had "Eric The Half a Bee" on it. So, so funny!

I have a cd with all the Monty Python songs on it and Eric the Half a Bee was dd's favorite song when she was a little girl. I just barely caught her trying to take the cd to daycare at one point. She didn't know it, but I'd skip over the really naughty ones in the car. I can just imagine if she'd taken that for her entire preschool to enjoy!
