Yes. Which is why people warn that are pictures in a thread. If you don't want your computer to slow down while they open, then don't look.

Esmerelda, I have to agree with Grumbo, Frustrated and Bojangles. other people who post photos on the DIS have been told to limit the number of photos they post in a thread, and that it's probably better to post the photos on a website and just post a link here.

If the MODERATORS do not have a problem with it, why do you? Skip the post and move on, why bring your negativitiy to an otherwise happy post?

Oh man! I want to go to Boston now! I have never been and it looks cool! Monty keps making me think about Wishbone! He even talks like him.

My DS and DD love the pics. Of course a can of worms has been opened- DS keeps saying "I want a puppy" now! I don't want to clean the backyard (I won't even clean the sticks before I mow, muchless the doo you can find with a puppy!).

Monty is a big fan of Wishbone! Actually, it's cute, whenever we go out, all the little kids we pass by call him Wishbone.

Boston is a very fun place. There is so much to see and do. The Boston Common and Gardens are great. There is a playground area and wading pool for kids, gorgeous flowers and trees, historical statues and the swan boats are neat!

Sheri, I love your pictures. DH and I sort of/almost got engaged on the swan boats. They were just closing up and DH was prepared to pay the guy a ton of cash just to take us but this little girl was crying so bad that she couldn't go on the boats so I wouldn't let DH take us and the boat guy wouldn't take another whole boat load so it was a no go. I didn't know until later that he had planned on asking me then!!! Sorry honey! You get an A for effort!

As far as too many pictures go, I do remember Mr. Dan having to stop posting his beautiful Disney pictures for some reason. Have those rules changed?

Yes, the limit is 20, 20 IMAGES, not just pictures. Long ago, it was unlimited, then lowered to 5, then upped to 20 some time back. That includes the smiles things. If you put more than 20 in a post, the post will not submit and it will tell you. (Got me a few times, LOL, but it never fails, it over, it stops you). Here is an example of a thread with multiple posts of exactly 20 images per post. Be forewarned, frus, that it too, just as this one, is politely and courteously labeled "photos (a lot)(sound too)". Thanks, E, for labeling this one "(photos! lots!)", as I was going to look at it last night but was too tired, saved the treat for this AM.

And Grumb, do yourself a favor so as not to make you further a Grumbo, that if you open the thread I linked above, it may open slowly on your computer. If you are looking for faster boards, maybe try some less traveled ones.
