Turns out the wonderful shaker pieces I'v made recently, the glue does NOT hold from transparency to foam. If bent or held wrong, the seal breaks and out tumbles little beads.

So to those of you who have my shakers from Tomorrowland or Japan, I am so sorry. I will not be using that technique anymore. Guess I have to stick double sided sticky foam.

Oh no! I'll check my Japan ones. I wonder if I can fix them if they have a problem...

I was able to fix mine by adding some double sided tape in the loose places and it seems to be holding up fine in the album.

I now use Scotch double sided permanent tape to hold the transparency to the foam when making shakers. I too learned the hard way that glue doesn't work.

Shawna already tried with the glue she had. No luck. I need to get with Miss B&MB to find out what glue she used in her lesson. Maybe I can buy some to send to those who have my shakers. For some of the ones I made, sticky tape will work. But I'm afraid the Japan ones don't have enough room at the edges for that fix.

I cut the tape into small pieces for the Japan one and it has worked so far. I loved that whole kit so much I couldn't bare not to use it so I found a way to fix it.

Thank you Rebecca. I really liked making that whole kit too, hence all the pieces to it. You really used it? That is so cool. I've not made any pages other than the preschool books since starting to swap, so I have not used any yet.

I am in the middle of my Epcot book. I have some pages finished- Japan is awaiting 1 picture to come in but other than that is done. I decided it was time to use my swap pieces and I have used over 100 swap pieces in the last month (i count each seperate part of a kit as 1 piece) and I have many more awaiting pictures. Some of the pages of my EPCOT book are awaiting the taking of pictures. Mission Space is our favorite EPCOT ride and we have not taken any pictures of it.

Very cute!! Although I would have to say almost every page has something from a swap on it- not all from the Epcot swaps but many different ones.

I gave up finding apple eyelets in the city of Orlando. 8 stores within 2 hours of me and NONE had them. (WHY I decided they would be perfect when I couldnt order them is beyond me...) so I went with Apple stickers. Not the same but they should work...

Oh Gosh....I wish I had known!! I have apple eyelets and brads coming out my ears!! I had originally ordered them for some Wicked Witch and Snow White elements. I would have given them to you. Sorry! I'm sure your things will be wonderful, though!

Okay, I am going to be late. Had my items done, but not bagged, before we left for our cruise. Left them on the downstairs counter, thinking they would be safe. But . . .

When I went to get them to prepare them for mailing, found that something had gotten spilled on them and a lot are ruined. So, I will have to redo them. No problem! (can you tell I've been to Jamaica??) However, I won't have the time to do it until Saturday. I will work hard on them and get them in the mail Saturday or Sunday at the latest. Hopefully everything can be ready to go and my items just slipped in.

Should have followed my gut feeling and bagged them, but I was tired and short on time. Learned my lesson!

I am so, so, so sorry for this!
