Monthly dues vs. one payment??

If you call member services and choose the accounting dept. option, they will send you a form to fill out, and you will need to send them a voided check to verify your checking account number.

I pay my dues by one lump sum. My monthly payments come out of my savings account. I put my income tax returns in this account and add 200 per month to keep it going. If I every have an emergency I have something to fall back on.

You can have monthly dues come out of savings too. Just call member accounting

I have always paid the lump sum ,first off I'm under 1000 and now I use the disney visa and when statement comes in Feb I pay balance in full and have collected some extra dis dollars.I also hate any more additional monthly bills then I have right now.

Mine are small - under $700. I prefer one payment. Part of it is that years ago a checkbook got stolen and I had to close the checking account - and contact all of the people making automatic debits. It was a real pain in the back end - took months before I got the last one switched. So I don't have anyone but me take money out of my account any more (I do one time electronic banking - but I don't set up these auto withdrawls). I also just don't like having money "dribble" from my account each month.

We do the monthly auto-debit after having to pay the lump sum just before a January 2nd arrival a few years back. Your annual dues must be covered (either paid in full or part of an established monthly payment via direct debit plan) prior to the start of any reservation. If you have a trip planned during January, you will have to make these arrangements prior to your arrival.

I shocked myself and remembered this little rule. We did several add-ons this year and our dues are now $4000+, so I switched to monthly last week. We check-in with neighbors at BWV on Jan. 2, so I am grateful I remembered. What an embarrassment had I forgotten and waited until we get back from WDW to set up monthly payments!
