Month of June's Turn! Anyone going to be there?

I will be at POR with just my 10 yr old.... from June 9th - 13th.

I am leaving DH, DS (6) and DD (4 mths) at home! This is a special trip for my oldest.... and will be repeated with my middle son in two years.
DH has had it with Disney, and I could LIVE there!

We will be there at the same time as you. Maybe we will see you there. We'll be in the 70's Big Wheel building(at least that is what I've requested). We will be there with our friends so there will be 8 of us. I always like to try to meet up with other Disers.

Ok, so now for the dumb newbie question...what do we do now that we've all listed our dates?

You are supposed to read thru the posts to see if any other DIS family will be there when you are...maybe you'll meet up, or be staying at the same place. I found out a DISer from Michigan will be at Chef Mickey's when I am for dinner and is going to MGM the next day too! We are going to keep in touch and hopefully meet up in WDW...not for a meal or long....just to put a face to the name, say "hello" and be able to say "i met a DISer there!"

Do you plan to spend much time at the pool? I'm sure my niece10 and nephew8 would love to have a pool buddy. We'll be at POR June 5-11 so I know that on the night of the 10th they'll be in the pool before flying out the next morning. Look for my lime green nametag

And what are ya'll talking about with the lime green Home Depot Mickeys?

At the Home Depot, in the paint section, there are Mickey Heads in different colors along with all the other paint swatches. Since lime green is the official color of the DISboards some of us are using the lime green Mickey heads as pins and things in the hopes that other DISers will recognize us. I've also picked up the Mickey heads in other colors and am plannig to do something with them for my neice and nephew although I haven't decided what just yet.
