Welcome to the people who have just joined us (or those who I've missed earlier)!
Hello
Jennifer, Ben and Chris, Katie, and anyone else from June/July that I've missed. (I've been MIA from the monthly thread.)
Jennifer: Yep, glad to have you on board! Join the crazies, er I mean us.
Kim: Did you find out if APs are good for 15 months? That would be a great incentive for more trips (and races).
Pat: I thought you were doing Chicago RnR?
Jackie: Just remember....those first 12 miles were great!
Tracy: Thank you so much for being "Happy." And for volunteering at the full! I'll be sure to return the favor when you do the full in 2010.

Overall, do you think your PT is helping you?
Megan: WTG with your 7 miles! Wow, your Disney trip is really approaching quickly. Yay!
Ben: The Higdon plan is a good one for the Goofy, and it sounds like you've got an excellent overall approach for the Disney marathon!
Chris: Great job on your 8 miler! I find the more active I am, the less I watch sports. (Although it's probably a time crunch thing for me...) How is your DW's training progressing?
Diane, Susan, Jennifer: Ahhh, just keep the Detroit talk coming. I miss my adopted hometown.

OH, and just let me throw in a gratuitous ice-cream reference here: Ray's (Royal Oak).
Katie: Welcome! Me and DOOD (my DH) are doing Baltimore this fall (half for me, full for him). We're also going Goofy (well, Dopey).
Kirsite: I didn't realize you were doing MCM. Congrats on reaching Gold with the President's Challenge. I need to get back to recording my numbers there...
Maura: It was your talk of ice-cream that lured me out.

That and the fact we both did 7 miles today, so I was feeling the connection. Oh, and
Diane...I've got the ice-cream sandwich situation handled.
Robert: Great to see you here!
As for me: I finally have some training of some note to report. This weekend was the first official B2B runs for the Goofy (yes,
Jeff, I know you don't do them, but I'm too insecure not to). True, it was just a 3 1/2 and 7 mile run. But week one is done, and I survived. And without either an ice bath or ice cream. Who would have thought?
