So I hear conflicting reports all the time about the Monte Cristo sandwich at DL. I didn't get to try it, and I'm wondering if it should be on my "must try" list in October. Why do you like/hate it? What's good about it? Have you had it once and loved it, and then a different time or place and found it to be not as good the second time?
Thanks!
p.s. It's cracked me up a few times to see some posters on here spell it "Monte Crisco"... hmm... are you saying it's a bit greasy?
Thanks!

I have another who swears the monte cristo is total sewage.
Personally, it sounds awful to me.

). I could only eat half. So be careful--especially on a hot day. It could leave you feeling not so good. The last thing you want is to be feeling sick at DL.
and I LOVE the Blue Bayou, just the thought of it makes me all smiley inside!
The first time I had the Monte Cristo (note, no Crisco LOL!) was during a culmination of one of those "perfect" Disney trips that you have once or twice in a lifetime and spend the rest of your life trying to replicate. I had it a second time a few years later and it still made me very, very happy. To be honest, I don't know if anything could make me unhappy at Disneyland....
